Abstract: An armored garment, such as a vest, has an attached rescue strap allowing a soldier in battle to quickly move a fallen comrade from immediate danger to safety. The rescue strap enables a rescuing soldier to move a wounded soldier in a manner that also allows the rescuing soldier to use his weapon and return enemy fire as necessary. The rescue strap may be affixed to an anchor strap secured to a panel of the garment and that distributes the pulling force across the garment panel. The rescue strap stores when not in use, but in a manner easily reached for quick deployment. A pull handle, for example a ring or a carabiner, can be affixed to an end of the strap to be grasped by a rescuing soldier. Pulling the handle draws the rescue strap from its storage location to be used to pull a wounded soldier to safety. A further feature of the armored garment is a stretchable flexible expansion joint that divides an outer woven back panel of the garment allowing greater freedom of movement to the wearer.

Abstract: The invention relates to a helmet including a protective shell. The protective shell includes an upper part and a lower part extending towards the bottom of the helmet. The upper part includes a sandwich composite material including two skins, disposed on either side of a core, themselves including a plurality of composite tissue layers, The lower part includes a monolithic composite material. The invention applies in a general manner to protective helmets and more particularly in the field of aeronautics where the rigid structure allows head equipment to be fixed directly onto the protective shell.

Abstract: A woman's garment for covering the breasts of a woman, such as a bra, that includes two cup shaped portions for covering and supporting the breasts and a lateral strap that extends outwardly from one of the cup shaped portions. The lateral strap encircles the back of the woman and has a closure device located at its distal end. Another closure device is located proximate to the outside edge of the other cup shaped portion and is readily detachable and attachable with the closure device on the lateral strap. Due to the length of the lateral strap, the closure device of the lateral strap and the closure device proximate to the cup shaped portion form a connection that is automatically positioned proximate to and underneath the arm pit of the wearer such that the connection is not visible through an outer garment and thus creates a seamless appearance.

An easily accessed self affixing hook and loop strap fastener extends from the base of each ear flap and is comfortably secured beneath the chin during use. Designed to rest flush against the sides and top of the hat when not in use, these ear muffs blend with the overall design of the cap and can be adorned with logos or other decorative imagery, providing a striking contrast to the cap itself.

Abstract: A scarf allowing changeful styling possibilities includes a main body in the form of a long hollow sleeve, which is formed by weaving or sewing. The main body has two opposite ends separately defining a first and a second opening communicable with each other, and is provided at a middle portion with a third opening communicable with the first and the second opening. A user can wear the scarf in changeful manners by, for example, extending his or her head through the first opening and out of the third opening, and then wind the other end having the second opening around the neck, or put the other end over the head, or extend one arm through the other end and out of the second opening to create unique personalized styling effect.

Abstract: An anti-climbing flexible panel attached to an article of clothing made for a child. The flexible panel, which is incorporated into the article of clothing, aids in preventing a child from climbing over the railing of a crib, playpen, or child gate. The article of clothing includes two legs. The article of clothing includes a flexible panel attached at the crotch and between the legs of the article of clothing. The flexible panel is positioned and sized such that the child has nearly full mobility during normal activity without detaching the flexible panel. In other embodiments the flexible panel may be detachably fastened to the article of clothing. Other embodiments include a flexible panel attached between the arm and the body on each side of an article of clothing which deters a child from reaching to access high places.

Abstract: A structure of swimming goggles includes a pair of flexible gaskets, a pair of flexible lenses, a pair of frame clamps, and a pair of buckles. The flexible gaskets are integrally connected to each other by a connected section arranged therebetween. The flexible lenses are respectively fit to and received in the first and second flexible gaskets. The first and second frame clamps are respectively fit over the first and second flexible gaskets. The buckles are respectively mounted to openings defined in the frame clamps. A uses may change lenses of different light transmittances based on his or her needs and the resilient restoration of the frames and the lenses, after being bent, provides excellent water tightness therebetween so that difficulty of assembling and manufacturing costs of the lenses can be reduced.

The mat includes a chamber between its upper and lower sides, which is operable to be in fluid communication with an air source such that when air flows into the mat, the air will flow into the chamber and through the gas permeable lower side to form an air film between the mat and a surface on which the mat is supported at its lower side. In addition, the lower side of the mat is substantially planar when the mat is inflated. A system for controlling the inflation of the mat may be used that automatically adjusts for the inflation of the mat during patient transfer.

The steering wheels provide a turning path whose center of curvature lies along a transverse centerline of the device. A foot pedal selectively lifts the steering wheels off the floor or brakes them. Another foot pedal at a back end of the device can lock the casters at the front end in a straight direction. The transfer table of the device may be inclined either longitudinally or transversely, and has an upper table whose edge rollers retract to introduce slack in the upper belt so that an air mattress can be inflated. The upper belt selectively disengages from the lower belt using movable, pneumatically-actuated pinch rollers. The outer surface of the upper belt is rough while the outer surface of the lower belt is smooth. The belts are constructed of a material which includes an antimicrobial agent.

The washing machine includes a speed sensing unit to sense a speed of the motor, and a control unit to output a speed control signal to adjust the speed of the motor. The control unit confirms whether to enter a constant-speed period upon progress of a dehydration operation, and repeatedly raises or lowers the speed of the universal motor within a predetermined magnitude range if it is confirmed to enter the constant-speed period, thereby alleviating high-frequency noise.
