Publication number: 20110073095Abstract: A Patio Heater Side Heat Director is disclosed. The patio heater side heat director attachment is attachable to a conventional patio heater so that the dome attachment hangs down from the heater's heat shield on one side. The side heat director is designed to reflect incident heat/energy on one side of the heater towards the opposing side of the heater. The side heat director defines two or more lobes that assist in focusing the energy reflected by the director. The side heat director is easily attached to a conventional patio heater, by clipping or crimping the heat director to the edge of the patio heater heat shield. Finally, the side heat director attachment has a very low thermal mass so that very little heat energy is retained by the side heat director attachment, such that the largest possible percentage of the heater energy is reflected towards the seating area.Type: ApplicationFiled: June 10, 2009Publication date: March 31, 2011Inventor: John Bechtold

Publication number: 20110073119Abstract: This invention provides an oral apparatus and method capable of alleviating or curing snore and obstructive sleep apnea by applying a negative pressure through a mini oral interface to the oral cavity. The mini oral interface creates a secure connection between the interface and mouth or teeth and prevents the interface from falling off. The oral interface also provides fixation between upper and lower lips (or tooth) and prevents opening of patient's mouth during sleeping. The negative pressure pulls the tongue toward upper palate and also pulls the soft palate forward as well. By moving the tongue and the soft palate in a forward direction, the patentcy of the upper airway near the pharynx is maintained to prevent sleep-disordered breathing. The negative pressure will pull the lips inward to close the mouth ad prevent air from entering the oral cavity from atmosphere.Type: ApplicationFiled: September 27, 2010Publication date: March 31, 2011Applicant: SOMNICS, INC.Inventors: Chung-Chu CHEN, Ching SHANG, Marina SIROTA, Zhen YAO

Publication number: 20110073136Abstract: Methods of removing gallium and gallium-containing materials from surfaces within a substrate processing chamber using a cleaning mixture are described. The cleaning mixture contains an iodine-containing compound and is introduced into the processing chamber. Iodine reacts with gallium resident within the chamber to produce thermally volatile Gal3. The Gal3 is removed using the exhaust system of the chamber by raising the temperature of the desorbing surface. Other volatile gallium-containing by-products may also be formed and removed from the exhaust system.Type: ApplicationFiled: September 9, 2010Publication date: March 31, 2011Applicant: Matheson Tri-Gas, Inc.Inventors: Robert Torres, JR., Glenn Mitchell, Michael Sievers, Adam Seymour

Publication number: 20110073138Abstract: A cleaning system that utilizes an organic cleaning solvent and pressurized fluid solvent is disclosed. The system has no conventional evaporative hot air drying cycle. Instead, the system utilizes the solubility of the organic solvent in pressurized fluid solvent as well as the physical properties of pressurized fluid solvent. After an organic solvent cleaning cycle, the solvent is extracted from the textiles at high speed in a rotating drum in the same way conventional solvents are extracted from textiles in conventional evaporative hot air dry cleaning machines. Instead of proceeding to a conventional drying cycle, the extracted textiles are then immersed in pressurized fluid solvent to extract the residual organic solvent from the textiles. This is possible because the organic solvent is soluble in pressurized fluid solvent. After the textiles are immersed in pressurized fluid solvent, pressurized fluid solvent is pumped from the drum.Type: ApplicationFiled: December 9, 2010Publication date: March 31, 2011Applicant: EMINENT TECHNOLOGIES LLCInventors: James E. Publication number: 20110073139Abstract: This invention is directed to a process for removing a catalyst inhibitor from a substrate or catalytic converter containing at least one nitrogen oxide (NOx) catalyst using a phosphoric acid composition. The process is particularly suited for removing the catalyst inhibitor, arsenic, from a fly ash-coated substrate or converter. A substantial amount of catalyst inhibitor can be removed from a fly ash-coated catalytic converter without removing a significant portion of one or more of the NOx reduction catalysts in or on the substrate.Type: ApplicationFiled: September 30, 2009Publication date: March 31, 2011Applicant: COALOGIX TECH INC.Inventor: Michael D. Publication number: 20110073142Abstract: An on-board optical sensor apparatus includes an optical sensor, an optical sensor cover, and a controller. The optical sensor has a lens. The optical sensor cover includes a holder and a washer nozzle. The holder holds the optical sensor. The washer nozzle performs a washing operation to wash a lens surface of the lens of the optical sensor or a glass surface of a cover glass located facing the lens by spraying a washer fluid, supplied from a washer fluid tank, onto the lens surface or the glass surface. The controller controls the washing operation of the washer nozzle.Type: ApplicationFiled: September 23, 2010Publication date: March 31, 2011Applicant: DENSO CORPORATIONInventors: Toshihiro Hattori, Manabu Ono

Publication number: 20110073144Abstract: The present invention includes a walking cane having a handle assembly, a support assembly and foot member. The handle assembly includes first and second generally upright rigid posts. A shaft adaptable for grasping by a user's hand connects to each end of the posts. Pliable mounts dispose between the terminal ends of the shaft and each post. The mounts, biased against the shaft, permit omni-directional movement of the shaft relative to each post. The support assembly connects to the handle assembly and includes three parallel elongated rods spaced apart from one another in a triangular formation. The handle assembly can be adjusted relative to the support assembly by means of two cooperating shims. The foot member connects to the support assembly and contacts the ground. The cane provides a light-weight shaft and a shock absorbing handle assembly to assist in relieving hand, wrist and arm strains.Type: ApplicationFiled: September 29, 2010Publication date: March 31, 2011Applicant: KINETICANE, LLCInventors: RONALD M.
