Abstract: A preheating backwater device comprises a tank body fabricated with a pump, a control module, a Y-pipe and a plurality of pipes inside. The device is assembled with a general hot-water heater and existing hot water and water supply pipes in a building. Users can activate the device either by pressing wire-linked buttons or using a wireless remote control. Lower temperature water in the hot water pipes can be pumped out and recirculated to the hot-water heater of the backwater device for a preset amount of time. If the automatic control module fails and preheating is not stopped automatically, an overheat protection device activates to guide the hot water to a cold water pipe via a backwater gate. A pressure control device installed in one end of a three-port connector of the overheat protection device stabilizes the pressure in the pipes. The design can prevent dangerous overheating situations.

Abstract: A service valve assembly for a tankless water heater incorporates one or more features that provide safer operation and easier installation of a valve assembly. Installation of a valve assembly is facilitated by foreshortening all perpendicularly protruding ports, thereby increasing the rotational freedom during installation. A main valve and a drain valve are intentionally distinguished from each other by providing different port sizes, valve handles and valve shapes that change the overall shape and characteristics of the valve assembly in such a way that accidental opening a drain port becomes much less likely. Installation can further be simplified by using a unique union nut that allows a service valve to be easily connected to an existing tankless water heater.

Abstract: A pneumatic tire having a designated rotational direction is disclosed, wherein an entire area having a width 85% of a total tire width and a center area having a width 30% of the total tire width are defined in a tread portion. A center main groove is positioned on a tire equatorial line and extends in a tire circumferential direction. Subsidiary main grooves are positioned on two sides of the center main groove and extend in the tire circumferential direction. Angled and lateral grooves extend at an angle, in a direction opposite the rotational direction towards an outside in the tire width direction. Lateral grooves extend from each subsidiary main groove. Sub grooves extend from the lateral grooves towards the rotational direction. A total length of a block edge in the center area is from 40% to 60% of a total length of a block edge in the entire area.

Abstract: A method of hardfacing a bit using a hardfacing sheet. The hardfacing sheet includes a hardfacing composition in a carrier material. The sheet is placed on a portion of the bit body, the sheet is heated at a designated spot using a localized heating source. At the same time, oxygen is substantially purged from the zone adjacent the designated spot. The heat debinds the carrier material from the sheet leaving the hardfacing composition. Continued heating transforms the hardfacing composition into hardfacing that is fused to the bit body.

The first sheet input tray is used for placing a pouch including a first film and a second film. The second sheet input tray is used for placing a sheet article. The separating roller assembly includes a separating driving roller and a separating follower roller. When the pouch is detected by the braking sensor, the braking element stops rotation of the separating follower roller. After a first predetermined time period, the separating follower roller is rotated again. As such, the rear ends of the first film and the second film are separated from each other, so that the sheet article could be inserted between the first film and the second film.

A first mould is supported by a hinge system which is capable of moving the mould from a first position wherein the mould faces upwards to a position wherein the first mould faces the second mould. A final linear displacement of the first mould is carried out by actuators which may be integrated with the first or the second mould. The actuators are engaged with the hinge system so that the first mould is displaceable or the hinge system holding the first mould is displaceable. In both alternatives the actuators merely transfer the load of the first mould to a support via the hinge system.
