Abstract: An integrated accessory mounting and electrical interconnection device are provided which can be embedded or attached to the surface of a ballistic or non-ballistic helmet. The helmet system herein includes a flexible circuit substrate that may be embedded between a ballistic shell and an outer skin or shell. The helmet system and method allow a secure connection of helmet mounted accessories to the helmet without the need to penetrate any one or more layers of the ballistic shell with mounting hardware, fasteners, wiring vias, and so forth.

Abstract: A thermal insulating garment for an underwater diving suit has an inner insulating layer or thermal core and an outer elastomeric layer. The inner thermal core layer is larger than the outer layer. The inner thermal core thermal layer is temporarily fixed to the outer elastomeric layer by fastening means such as a hook and loop system. A zipper may be disposed between the two shoulders of the garment and across the chest of the garment to permit the top portion of the garment to be removed and permit diver entry and egress into the dry suit. There is a lamination seal at the ankles, wrists and collar of the garment.

Abstract: The present inventions relate to a new protective garment that combines the features of a napkin and a bib. One embodiment of the protective garment to be worn by a person to protect clothing and to provide a wiping surface while eating is comprised of a bib portion having a width and a length, the length being greater than the width, and the bib portion being symmetrically disposed about a first axis; at least one napkin portion having a width and length, the napkin portion being symmetrically disposed about a second axis; the second axis of the napkin portion and the first axis of the bib portion defining an oblique angle.

Abstract: An outer garment is disclosed that includes an upper portion having upper portion pliant edges and two neck end portions to secure the upper portion to a user's neck; and a lower portion joined to the upper portion. The lower portion includes pliant lower portion edges coupled to the upper portion pliant edges; a pliant support mesh/grid covering a rectangular area defined by the lower portion edges; and an edge joining fastener or strap mechanism/system to secure two adjacent lower portion edges together. The outer garment includes a three-dimensional tray/receptacle that is formed when the lower edges are joined together by Velcro fasteners.

Abstract: Components adapted for use in an article of clothing, and articles of clothing including such components, include a woven fabric comprising at least one multi-layered region and at least one single-layered region. The at least one multi-layered region can comprise a first woven fabric layer and a second woven fabric layer that is opposite from the first woven fabric layer, where the first and second woven fabric layers are separated from each other. The at least one multi-layered region and the at least one single-layered region can be weaved from the same sets of warps and wefts to form an integral fabric. Methods of making an item of apparel include forming a woven fabric comprising at least one multi-layered region and at least one single-layered region weaved from the same sets of warps and wefts, and cutting the woven fabric along a predetermined pattern to form one or more components.

In one example, among others, a method includes obtaining a pant cuff liner; accessing a bottom inside portion of a pant leg; and affixing the pant cuff liner to the bottom inside portion of the pant leg. In another example, a pant cuff liner includes a fabric material and adhesive glue disposed on an inner face of the fabric material. The inner face of the fabric material may be affixed around a bottom inside portion of a pant leg with an edge of the pant cuff liner substantially aligned with a bottom edge of the pant leg.

At least a portion of the taekwondo uniform has the shape corresponding to that of the human body, and the taekwondo uniform is prevented from being loosed, so that women and men put on the uniform in common with improved wearability and convenient use. Gap adjusting unit mutually corresponding to each other at the back part and the front part of the uniform are provided, so that the wearability of the uniform is improved.

Abstract: Articles of apparel include: (a) a garment structure having one or more fabric elements structured and arranged to provide a close fit to at least one predetermined portion of a body (e.g., area(s) of the body for which enhanced position sensing and/or feedback are desired); and (b) a body position feedback system engaged with or integrally formed as part of the garment structure. The body position feedback system may apply higher tensile or constricting (compressive) forces to selected portions of the wearer's body and/or stretch resistance, which can help stimulate or interact with nerves and deep tissue receptors located in various portions of the body. The increased forces at selected locations of the body give the wearer sensory feedback regarding the position or orientation of these parts of the body and can improve or accelerate development of “muscle memory.

Abstract: A glove, such as a cycling glove, for use with a capacitive touchscreen device has a back side and a palm side. The glove has an outer shell substantially forming an outer surface of the glove on the back side and the palm side of the glove. An inner liner substantially forms an inner surface of the glove. A waterproof layer can be positioned between the outer shell and the inner liner. A conductive strip can be positioned within the glove with a first end extending from the glove at a fingertip. A second end can contact a user's skin when the glove is on the user's hand.

Abstract: Provided is a work glove which has further improved wear resistance and workability while ensuring functions such as dielectric breakdown strength and water proofing property. In a work glove according to the present invention, a fabric material which is formed of one selected from cloth, knitted fabric and meshed fabric and has a predetermined area is affixed to an outer surface of a glove base which is made of an elastic material, and a coating film having a higher friction coefficient than the fabric material is formed on a surface of the fabric material.

Abstract: The present application discloses a helmet and an impact liner system and energy management structures for a helmet. In one exemplary embodiment, the impact liner system comprises a plurality of compressible energy management structures and one or more carriers for supporting the plurality of energy management structures within a helmet shell. The energy management structures are positioned between an interior surface of the helmet shell and the head of a user when the impact liner system is attached to the helmet shell. Each energy management structure comprises an outer wall configured to bend when an exterior of the helmet shell is impacted by an object. The carrier comprises a plurality of openings configured to receive the energy management structures. The outer wall of the energy management structures extend between the interior of the helmet shell and the carrier of the impact liner system.

Abstract: A portable, walk in type bathtub includes an entrance and a door attached thereto to allow someone to walk into the bathtub without stepping over a wall. A replaceable water tank is attached to the tub such that clean water is directed from the water tank to the tub. Once the water has been used, the dirty or black water is directed to a separate tank within the water tank attachment. Once all of the clean water from the water tank has been used, the water tank is detached from the tub housing and a new tank containing clean water is attached to the tub to further facilitate bathing. The tub and water tank include wheels attached to the bottoms thereof to facilitate movement of the tub and water tank. The wheels may be raised and lowered to facilitate movement and locking of the tub in place.

The assembly can be fastened to a variety of windshield. The backside of the assembly has means of which to conform to the contours of the windshield and ensure a close fit. The assembly is secured to the windshield by means of fasteners such as screw and/or latch systems requiring minimal tools. The automated assembly will contain an electric motor with multiple speed settings and gearing connected to the motor to drive the wiper blade arm that protrudes through an opening in the assembly. The wiper blade arm will hold a readily available off-the-shelf wiper blade, which exists in different sizes for different windshields.
