Abstract: A method and apparatus are presented for actuating a differential pressure firing head to actuate a perforating gun at a downhole location in a subterranean wellbore adjacent a formation. An exemplary method includes positioning the perforating gun and the differential pressure firing head at a downhole location on a tubing string and then communicating an applied fluid pressure to a wellbore annulus, a first chamber which communicates the applied fluid pressure to a low-pressure side of the firing head assembly, and a second fluid chamber which communicates the applied fluid pressure to a high-pressure side of the firing head assembly. The applied fluid pressure is then trapped within the second fluid chamber. When the applied pressure in the annulus is subsequently removed, a pressure differential is created across the firing head by the low pressure in the first chamber and the trapped applied pressure in the second chamber.

Abstract: An alternative current (AC) power line, comprising: at least two conductive lines having an insulation sheath, and an insulation protective outer layer wrapping the aforementioned at least two conductive lines. The insulation protective outer layer includes: an insulation cladding layer and a spiral enhancing layer. The spiral enhancing layer is attached to the outer surface of the insulation cladding layer in a spiral way along the axial direction of the AC power line. Also, the spiral enhancing layer is jointed in a spiral pattern and protrudes from the outer surface of the insulation cladding layer. The spiral enhancing layer may be of a uni-spiral or multi-spiral structure. In another embodiment, the spiral enhancing layer is of a multi-spiral structure in an alterative thick-thin fashion which improves the anti-tension and anti-extension capabilities in the AC power line and facilitates visual differentiation or identification effects.

Abstract: An objective is to provide a novel preparation method for a conductive ZnO film which realizes large area and mass productions with low costs and low environment loads. The crystal of zinc oxide (ZnO) is deposited on a substrate by a precipitation method using liquidous solution method under the presence of citric acid. The citric acid adsorbs on the surface of (0001) face of ZnO to suppress anisotropic growth to a c axis direction of the crystal in the precipitation reaction and to form dense crystal film on the surface of the substrate. Then, the organic acid incorporated in the film is photo-decomposed by irradiating UV light to the prepared ZnO crystalline film. As the result, carriers trapped by the organic acid is released to the crystalline film so as to provide an adequate conductivity.

Abstract: The described embodiment relates generally to the field of PCB fabrication. More specifically conductive spheres are used in a bonding sheet to enable inter-layer communication in a multi-layer printed circuit board (PCB). The conductive spheres in the bonding sheet can be used in place of or in conjunction with conventional electroplated vias. This allows the following advantages in multi-layer PCB fabrication: dielectric substrate layers made of varying types of material; PCBs with higher resilience to stress and shock; and PCBs that are more flexible.
