Abstract: The present invention relates to a hosel for connecting a shaft to a club head. In one aspect of the invention, the hosel comprises a body having an undercut, wherein the undercut has a maximum cross section which tapers to a minimum cross section and increases to the maximum cross section immediately adjacent the club head. The hosel further comprises a flange section below the hosel and hosel bore above the undercut, the hosel bore section having a length of at least one inch. In another aspect of the invention, the hosel tapers in diameter from a maximum to a minimum width, and has a maximized interior mold line (IML) to improve bendability and weight savings.

Abstract: The invention generally relates to a golf club with a channel area. The channel area includes a groove disposed alongside a ramp having a shallow slope with respect to the horizontal when the club head is at address. The channel area may extend across a portion of the club head such as the crown or the sole. The ramp is oriented such that, during a high speed drive, the ramped portion of the sole may distribute and neutralize torsional stresses, dampening unwanted and unpredictable twisting, preventing the ball from flying in unpredictable directions while the deeper groove contributes to a high coefficient of restitution of a ball-striking face, a large sweet spot area, or both, thus causing the ball to fly a long distance.

The method includes recording locations of one or more players during execution of a play and evaluating the recorded locations with one or more known plays in a playbook. The evaluation can also be used to compare how a particular player has been executing the playbook play (e.g., deviations). Use of the identified play can also be used to produce one or more counter-plays.

A set of golf shot data may be obtained and may include shot location data from a plurality of users and associated with a hole on a golf course. When said displacing forces a card beyond the last cell of the column a replacement card is drawn.

Abstract: A variety of games and methods for enhancing game play are provided. In one aspect, a secondary or ancillary game is played in parallel with a first game, such as a lottery ball draw. Yet another embodiment of game play provides for the repurposing of an existing taped game show. The previously recorded game show would be segmented into subsets of issues, for example, presentation of questions or answers (as in the case of Jeopardy), those issues would be presented to one or more players, a response would be received from those players, and the answer would be compared to the correct answer. Scoring would then rank players relative to one another or to indicate the amount of the prize.

When the human operator motions, the sensor module may detect such motions along with data arising out of contact by the human operator on the flexible mat structure and deliver the same to the computation module.
