Since in RTM, both the forward and reverse wave propagation is iteratively calculated on time step increments, the method implements methods that includes partitioning memory between computation and intermediate results to optimize an RTM computation. The methods make maximum use of the memory to either eliminate storing the snapshot wavefield data to disk, or hide all or a significant portion of the disk I/O time. Furthermore, the schemes can provide the flexibility to vary a number of iterations (step size) for each snapshot to be kept in the memory. If any of the given conditions changes during the process, maximum usage of the available memory is ensured.

The best ZD-inversion results are selected and the 1D-axial inversion results and/or the 1D-radial inversion results, if any, are combined with the selected best ZD-inversion results to form a composite inversion result. The sensor panels are assembled on the floor selectively and releasably in patterns. No tools are needed for assembly. Data is sent wirelessly between the sensor panels and from the sensor panels to a computer for analysis. A power supply, wiring grid, and releasable connectors on the panel edges supplies electrical power to the sensor panels and between adjacent sensor panels.

    Abstract: The present invention provides a backlight module and display device thereof, including light-guiding plate, frame and a plurality of light sources disposed near incident surface of the light-guiding plate. The backlight module further includes an opaque layer, with one part attached to the frame and the other part disposed on light-emitting surface of light-guiding plate. The opaque layer shields and absorbs partial light emitted directly from the plurality of light sources and light from light-emitting surface covered by opaque layer. With such structure, the rim of the frame can be smaller, even when A/P ratio is less than 0.5, the hotspot phenomenon can be avoided. As such, the present invention improves the optical characteristics of the backlight module and the display quality of the display device, as well as simplifies the assembly and reduces assembly cost.

The liquid crystal deposit adopts a deformed shape relative to the shape of the aliquot due to interaction with the flowable material layer. This promotes alignment of the LC material. Incorporation of a laser dye allows the photonic device to function as a laser, which can be operated above or below threshold depending on the circumstances. The photonic device can also be used as a passive device based on the photonic bandgap of the aligned LC material.
