Abstract: A source apparatus and a conditional access apparatus are disclosed. The source apparatus may transmit a command to the conditional access apparatus. The conditional access apparatus may transmit a response to the command to the source apparatus. When a time elapsed between transmission of the command by the source apparatus and reception of the response by the source apparatus does not exceed a predetermined round trip time (RTT), a first authorization signal to permit the conditional access apparatus to decrypt encrypted content may be generated. Additionally, whenever a non-RTT condition is met, a second authorization signal to permit the conditional access apparatus to decrypt the content may be generated.

Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed which may allow a user having a mobile device to automatically authenticate to a server using a device identifier associated with the mobile device. An access point may be configured to send the device identifier as well as additional identifying information to the server so that the device identifier can be accurately matched to the mobile device. Then, when the mobile device submits a credential during authentication, the device identifier and the credential may be matched such that the next time the server receives the device identifier from the access point, the mobile device may be automatically authenticated.

Abstract: According to embodiments the disclosure, a router management server may be utilized to manage a plurality of home routers. Appropriate access control rules may be determined by the router management server for various client devices including IoT devices based on the type and/or make/model of the client devices. MAC address-bound WLAN passphrases may be assigned to the client devices and bound to the MAC addresses associated the client devices. Further, WLAN passphrases may be associated with expiration periods and/or access control rules. Therefore, a secure home network environment that takes into account the vulnerabilities of IoT devices may be achieved without the involvement of an IT department. Moreover, embodiments of the disclosure improve the flexibility of WLAN passphrase management.

Abstract: Embodiments provide an access method and device. The method includes: sending, by a user terminal, a carrier extension request to a base station when a current service resource demand is greater than a specified threshold, where the carrier extension request is used to request the base station to allocate an available spectrum resource; receiving the available spectrum resource sent by the base station. The method also includes obtaining through calculation, according to the current service resource demand and the available spectrum resource, a quantity of antenna channels that need to be enabled, and enabling an antenna channel corresponding to the quantity of antenna channels. The method also includes sending an access request to the base station, where the access request carries the antenna channel that is to be enabled by the user terminal.

Abstract: A wireless local area network (WLAN) operations status with regard to a wireless access point may be changed for a user equipment (UE). A request, based on changing the WLAN operations status for the UE, may be sent to a base station. The request may cause the base station to send, to the UE, a first message based on the request. The first message may be received from the base station. A second message, based on the first message, may be sent to the base station. The second message may cause the base station to change availability of a radio service based on changing the WLAN operations status for the UE.
