Abstract: Disclosed is a system and method of generating, for a given game map, an LOS catalog before gameplay and identifying a spawn location during gameplay based on the LOS catalog. For every unique pair of map nodes in a game map, the LOS catalog may indicate the minimum distance that must be traveled from a first map node of the pair to achieve LOS to a second map node of the pair, an identifier for the first map node, and an identifier for the second map node. When a gameplay session is initiated, the LOS catalog may be retrieved and used to identify relatively safe spawn points based on distances that must be traveled from enemy positions to achieve LOS to potential spawn points.

Abstract: A method includes identifying a string and parameters. The parameters include a coding frame, elements, and a travel path. The method includes traversing the travel path to yield an output artefact. Responsive to no active element at a next position, the method includes filling the next position from the front of the string and advancing one character and one position. Responsive to an element at the next position, the method includes filling the next position from the end of the string, decrementing one character, and determining an attack position. Responsive to the attack position existing, the method includes setting the next position to the attack position. Responsive to no attack position existing, the method includes advancing the next position according to the travel path. The method results in the output artefact encoding the string. A corresponding method decodes the output artefact. Corresponding computer program products and computer systems are disclosed.

The first and second sensor units detect a filling level of the second medium in the collecting chamber. The first and second sensor units operate based on a different action mechanism, respectively. One or more shut-off valves are arranged at a media outlet of the collecting chamber. The first and second sensor units are operatively connected with the one or more shut-off valves to automatically drain the second medium from the collecting chamber through the media outlet when a drain criterion is reached. A filter system with such a drain control device is provided.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention provide a hollow cylindrical filter for removing efficiently foreign substances from fluids. This is performed by forming complicated passages including an axial direction and a radial direction in the filter. The hollow cylindrical filter is formed by winding a metal wire rod in a spiral and multilayered manner. The metal wire rod includes a recess formed throughout the entire length in a longitudinal direction, or recesses repeated along said longitudinal direction. Some wire rod layers extend in an axial direction of the hollow cylindrical filter while the adjacent wire rod layers extend in an intersecting direction, thereby forming a plurality of communication paths for communicating between the overlapping wire rod layers. Additionally, a space is formed between the recess of one wire rod layer and another adjacent wire rod layer, allowing the plurality of communication paths to communicate with each other.

Abstract: Filter media including a waved filtration layer are described herein. The filtration layer may be held in a waved configuration by a support layer. In some cases, the filtration layer may have a combination of characteristics (e.g., mean flow pore size, basis weight, amongst others) that can lead to enhanced filtration performance (e.g., reduced air permeability decrease), in particular, in high humidity environments. The filter media may be used to form a variety of filter elements for use in various applications. In some embodiments, at least a surface of the filtration layer is hydrophilic.

Abstract: An air filter arrangement incorporates a replaceable pleated air filter element which is installed in a rectangular frame. The air filter element is collapsible by flattening together the pleats and placed in an opening in the frame and thereafter stretched apart to extend across the space opposite frame sides and held in that position, by a magnetic element on the end pleat at either end of the air filter element. Sealing pads made of a material similar to the filter element panels are secured to the other two opposite frame sides which engage respective opposite ends of the air filter element for reducing air flow around the pleat ends. A planar lattice restraint is held in a perimeter slot extending around the frame opening to prevent contact of the air filter element and the lattice restraint to minimize the risk of holes being torn in the filter element by such contact.

In particular, the component of radioactive inert gases in the fresh air supplied to the operating space should be as small as possible. For this purpose, the ventilation system has a supply air line that is guided from an external inlet to the operating space, and into which a first fan and a first inert gas adsorber column are connected. An exhaust air line is guided from the operating space to an external outlet, and into which a second fan and a second inert gas adsorber column are connected. Abstract: The present disclosure provides improved systems, assemblies and methods to remove and recover CO2 from emissions. More particularly, the present disclosure provides improved membrane contactors configured to remove CO2 from flue gas by temperature swing absorption. In exemplary embodiments, the present disclosure provides a novel hollow fiber membrane contactor that integrates absorption and stripping using a nonvolatile reactive absorbent (e.g., 80% polyamidoamine (PAMAM) dendrimer generation 0, and 20% of an ionic liquid (IL)). Equilibrium CO2 absorption in the nonvolatile viscous mixed absorbent is as high as 6.37 mmolCO2/g absorbent in the presence of moisture at 50° C. A novel membrane contactor is provided for CO2 absorption and stripping via a process identified as temperature swing membrane absorption (TSMAB). The contactor integrates non-dispersive gas absorption and hot water-based CO2 stripping in one device/assembly containing two sets of commingled hollow fibers.
