Abstract: Method of raising capital for charities through a charity bidding platform comprising: receiving a charitable organization (CO) description; receiving from a fundraiser (FR) profile; generating a COs' directory and a FRs' catalog; receiving from a donor's dossier; storing the description, profile, and dossier in a service provider's database; receiving a FR request from to fund a fundraiser-specified amount (FSA) of a fundraiser-specified charitable organization (FSCO); determining a minimum monetary threshold amount (MMTA) to fund the FSA; receiving a donor's bid to fund the FSA; classifying the donor as a preferred donor (PD) if the bid meets the MMTA; generating a PDs' list; receiving the FR's selection of a fundraiser-chosen preferred donor (FCPD); receiving the FCPD's funding corresponding to a PD bid of the FCPD; receiving a confirmation that the FR met the FCPD; and, transmitting to the FSCO, the amount of funding corresponding to the PD bid of the FCPD.

Abstract: A real-time customer survey system can be implemented by monitoring real-time and previous location data associated with a customer. The system can analyze the location data in accordance with customer preferences, customer social media profiles, and/or information that has been inferred by the system. The location data can be obtained in multiple forms including video, audio, wireless device communications, etc. The location data, in conjunction with customer preference data can be presented to the customer in the form of an avatar, an audio output, a video output, and/or haptic feedback.

Abstract: A computer-implemented method includes accessing social media data, wherein the social media data is associated with one or more profiles and corresponds to a venue. The computer-implemented method further includes determining sentiment information corresponding to each of the one or more profiles based on the social media data. The computer-implemented method further includes, for each of the one or more profiles: identifying a path through the venue, wherein the path represents at least one movement associated with the profile and associating the sentiment information with the path through the venue. The computer-implemented method further includes, responsive to associating the sentiment information with the path through the venue for each of the one or more profiles, identifying one or more trends. The computer-implemented method further includes presenting the one or more trends for review. A corresponding computer system and computer program product are also disclosed.

Abstract: A computer-implemented method includes accessing social media data, wherein the social media data is associated with one or more profiles and corresponds to a venue. The computer-implemented method further includes determining sentiment information corresponding to each of the one or more profiles based on the social media data. The computer-implemented method further includes, for each of the one or more profiles: identifying a path through the venue, wherein the path represents at least one movement associated with the profile and associating the sentiment information with the path through the venue. The computer-implemented method further includes, responsive to associating the sentiment information with the path through the venue for each of the one or more profiles, identifying one or more trends. Abstract: Usage data can be received by a computer system from a sensor-enabled appliance. A new appliance profile can be accessed from an external data source; the new appliance profile can contain price and energy consumption data about the new appliance. The system can also identify relational data, which can be collected from a set of sensor-enabled appliances. The relational data can be used to determine usage trends for the appliances. The usage data, new appliance profile, and relational data can then be used to determine that current usage costs exceed potential usage costs, and this determination can be transmitted to a user device.

Abstract: Implementations include receiving user input to a computer-implemented platform configuration tool, the user input defining a release that is to be processed and automatically deployed to at least one computer-implemented billing systems by the computer-implemented configuration tool, the release identifying at least one change request; receiving user input to the computer-implemented platform configuration tool, the user input identifying the at least one computer-implemented billing system, to which the release is to be applied; automatically: staging the release, testing the release as applied to the at least one computer-implemented billing system in a testing environment, and providing results based on testing; and receiving user input to the computer-implemented platform configuration tool, the user input approving the results, and in response, automatically deploying the release to the at least one computer-implemented billing system in a production environment.

If the charge has been successful, then the billing server transmits a renewal notification text message to the subscription server. The subscription server updates an account having the subscription identifier to reflect a new expiration.

Abstract: An electronic service image marketplace for service images is provided that permits users to browse descriptions of service images implementing desired functionalities of a virtual machine image. The described service images may be further offered for purchase through the electronic service image marketplace. An operational data service, in communication with the electronic service image marketplace, may collect operational data from a plurality of host computing devices executing the selected service image. The operational data service may further analyze the collected operational data to obtain an aggregate measure of operational data for the selected service image when executed by host computing devices. The analyzed operational data may be further provided to the electronic service image marketplace for display within the description of the selected service image.

Abstract: Systems and methods for facilitating a purchase over a network. A computer of a banking institution stores personal information from a buyer. The computer uses the personal information to assign and store an account identifier and alias information for the buyer. The computer uses the buyer's alias information and a seller's existing payment process to complete a purchases such that the true identity of the buyer is not revealed to the seller.

In an example embodiment, automobile market data representative of current automobile market characteristics is stored. A consumer may provide a request for a response regarding a specific automobile using an image of a vehicle identification number or a graphical user interface. Automobile market data may be provided to a dealer based on the request. Bids to sell the specific automobile may be requested from dealers based on the request. Dealer bids may be provided to the consumer with prices and a delivery options. The consumer may select a bid which specifies a pickup location at a first dealer.

Actionable information is typically provided in a “tip” which is a mechanism for presenting information to a user and may be presented in text, audible, or other form. The tips provided by the digital assistant are directed to helping the user with tasks associated with vehicles such as knowing when to obtain service such as oil changes, tire inflation, light replacement, brake replacement, fluid level check/fill, or other service. The digital assistant can utilize user information to automatically book service appointments, recommend times for service or other vehicle actions, route changes and so forth. Tips can also include links to a marketplace where recommended services can be obtained.

Abstract: Data points, calendar entries, trends, behavioral patterns may be used to predict and pre-emptively build digital and printable products with selected collections of images without the user's active participation. The collections are selected from files on the user's device, cloud-based photo library, or other libraries shared among other individuals and grouped into thematic products. Abstract: A system is disclosed that incorporates mobile devices (such as mobile phones or smart watches), a user profile stored in the cloud, and a triggered device (e.g., point-of-sale terminals or ATM terminals) such that the mobile devices communicate user interactivity information to the triggered device, and the triggered device provides transactional predictions, recommendations, and preferences to the user to interact before making purchases on the triggered device.

A user characteristic is correlated to one or more consumer characteristics in a consumer profile and output information is determined based on the consumer profile. A notification that includes the output information is transmitted to a computing device of the user.

The system arranges the available rental stores into at least one cluster in the pick-up location and the drop-off location based on a geographical position of the available rental stores. The system selects a particular number of available rental stores within each cluster in both the pick-up location and the drop-off location.

Abstract: Described herein is a system for optimizing transactions conducted using a portfolio of payment devices by providing strategic content. In particular, content are assigned to payment devices in a portfolio of payment devices based on a frequency of a transaction type and a frequency with which a payment device is used. In some embodiments, a content may be generated for a payment device upon determining that a frequency of use associated with the payment device is below a usage frequency threshold. In some embodiments, a number of transactions associated with a portfolio of payment devices may be maximized by assigning content associated with transaction types that are frequently conducted to payment devices that are infrequently used as well as assigning content associated with transaction types that are infrequently conducted to payment devices that are frequently used.

In one example embodiment, a plurality of quantity allocation rules can be user-configurable, and different rules can be defined and applied in relation to different order types.

Abstract: Disclosed herein are system, method, and computer program product embodiments for integrating Customer Identification Program (CIP) processing performed by a bank with contribution funded processing specified by an employer. An embodiment operates by enabling a CIP processing system to configure a management database to store a temporal threshold specified by and received from an employer. Upon receiving an employee's CIP status from a bank performing the CIP processing to enable access to an account, a CIP configuration component of the CIP processing system may generate an employee indicator based on the received CIP status and the temporal threshold. The employee indicator may be associated with an employer contribution funding amount and an employee contribution funding amount.

Abstract: A system processes a set of images to verify whether the images depict a type of property damage, such as hail damage from a hail storm. The system receives digital images of a roof or other facet of the property that were taken by an image capturing device after the storm event. The system also receives storm data relating to the storm event and claim data related to a property damage claim. The system uses the claim data to process the digital images to automatically identify damage to the roof or other facet. The system then analyzes the storm data to determine whether the damage is consistent with an actual, naturally-occurring storm event, and it generates a report depicting its findings.

Abstract: A system segments a set of images of a property to identify a type of damage to the property. The system receives, from an image capturing device, a digital image of a roof or other feature of the property. The system processes the image to identify a set of segments, in which each segment corresponds to a piece of the feature, such as a tab or tooth of a shingle on the roof. The system saves a result of the processing to a data file as a segmented image of the property, and it uses the segmented image to identify a type of damage to the property.

An insurance server capable of communications with the damages server and receives damage claims. The system applies to insurance management in connection with at least one operator on equipment obtained by a plurality of equipment originators and an insurance company providing insurance for the equipment.

Abstract: Techniques for controlling operation of sensors at a physical premises are described. The techniques process received messages corresponding to a prediction of an impending event and produce commands that modify operation of one or more specific sensors at the physical premises, send the commands that modify the operation of the one or more sensor devices at the physical premises at a period of time prior to a likely occurrence of the predicted insurable event, collect sensor information from the plurality of sensor devices deployed at the premises, and store the sensor information in a remote persistent storage system.

Abstract: A back-end application computer server may access a location data store containing information about a set of locations to be visited, including location identifiers and location coordinates. The computer server may then prioritize the locations to be visited. A mobile unit data store may contain information about a set of mobile units, including mobile unit identifiers, mobile unit location coordinates, and mobile unit communication addresses. The computer server may then automatically assign each location to a mobile unit based on the location coordinates, the mobile unit location coordinates, at least one geo-fence, and said prioritization. Indications of assigned locations may be transmitted to each mobile unit via the associated mobile unit communication address, and electronic messages may be exchanged to support an interactive user interface display associated with assignments of locations to mobile units.

Abstract: Systems and methods for automatically determining damage information and publishing said damage information are provided. A notice of loss associated with a damaged item may be received. An apparatus may analyze the damaged item to determine damage information for any damage elements present on the damaged item. The damage information may be transmitted to a damage estimate server to determine a line-item cost estimate for the damaged item based on expected costs of repair for the damaged elements. The line-item cost estimate may then be presented to a repair service provider as an offer to repair the damaged item. Further, a database comprising the damage information and/or line-item cost estimate may be published to a marketplace for use by service providers.

Abstract: A system performing machine learning to predict and identify claims that have a high likelihood of migrating across a predetermined risk threshold and to generate intervention strategies to mitigate the likelihood of migration. The information may be generated, for example, in connection with transactions involving financial accounts, such as a credit card account. The sales tax information may be received electronically from, for example, a merchant or a point of sale device. A determination may be made whether there is any missing sales tax information. If there is missing information a request may be generated and sent to a source having the information. The source may receive the request, retrieve the desired information, and transmit it to the requesting entity. The sales tax information may be stored and later retrieved for presentation to a user, such as the account holder. The account holder may use the information in completing a tax return.

Registration capability is provided so that a user can register to set-up a user account and login for use of website as a registered user. The website includes preferences for entering books the user is selling and searching for within the website. Geographical input selection is provided prompting the user to select geographical radii wherein the book is posted for sale or swap within the website. A match alert is provided that notifies the user when there is a match of the book being sold or swapped and the book being searched.

Abstract: An online system presenting content items to a user generates a model that predicts a latent metric describing user actions that occur at least a reasonable amount of time after presentation of content items. To determine the latent metric, the online system retrieves one or more models predicting likelihoods of the user performing various interactions when presented with the content items and determines weights associated with different retrieved models. Combining the weighted retrieved models generates a model for determining the latent metric. As the retrieved models are based on data accessible to the online system in less than the reasonable amount of time after presenting content items, weighing the retrieved models allows the online system to predict the latent metric describing user actions occurring after content items are presented. When selecting content items for the user, the online system accounts for the latent metric determined by the generated model.

Abstract: Systems and methods for monitoring and tracking usage of a lamp and, in one example, assigning a monetary value that can be billed to an end user are provided. Examples of the lamps can communicate wirelessly in order to receive and to transmit information related to initialization, authorization, electrical power consumption monitoring, and combinations thereof. In one embodiment, the lamp transmits data a usage parameter to a service provider via a network. The service provider can aggregate the data and, in one example, assign a usage fee that describes a monetary value based on the usage parameter and generate an output that includes that usage fee.

Abstract: An approach to generating a disruption indicator for an employee. The approach parses communication feeds into a collection of verbs and subjects. The approach then uses a lookup to determine if the verbs match actions associated with stressful situations. Further, the approach determines the location of the employee based on GPS coordinates to aid in measuring a stressful situation. The approach then stores the data for further analysis and generates a disruption indicator for the employee. The approach can also tune the disruption indicator by weighting the assessment of the stressful situation with the employee's biometric data from the time of the stressful situation.

Abstract: The disclosed embodiments relate generally to complex data stream control and entitlement. Specifically, the disclosed embodiments provide systems and methods for ensuring that only authenticated/verified participants receive data streams. A third party, e.g., a party other than the data provider or the data recipient, who is nevertheless associated with both the data provider and the data recipient, may be involved in controlling whether data streams from the data provider can reach the data recipient. Thus, a third party may logically sit between the data provider and the data recipient, and may decide whether the data recipient should receive data streams. The disclosed embodiments implement data generation, flow, control and permissioning between multiple entities via digital assets accessed and manipulated on a shared data structure.
