Abstract: An acoustic structure includes: at least one hollow section defined by a pair of opposed transparent or translucent wall members and a plurality of connecting wall members interconnecting the pair of wall members, and at least one opening portion communicating an interior space inside the hollow section to an exterior space. At least some of the connecting wall members may have colorless or colored transparency or translucence. Further, a mirror surface may be provided on any desired portion of the wall members defining the hollow section. Furthermore, a lighting device may be disposed near the outside or inside of the hollow section. Because light or a scene on the opposite side of the acoustic structure is visible through the transparent or translucent wall member, design quality and usability of the acoustic structure can be enhanced.

Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for securing a transport device to preexisting studs or support members. One embodiment includes a clamp assembly with a compression fitting adapted to be secured to a plurality of different sized studs or wall supports, and further to support additional supports including, but not limited, horizontal support members. A transport device is further provided that is selectively connectable to clamp and support members of the disclosure. In another embodiment, a hook bracket is provided which includes a projection configured to be positioned in a hole through a stud. The extension may include a notch to engage a portion of the stud. The hook bracket includes at least one aperture adapted to secure the hook bracket to a support member operatively interconnected to the transport device.

Abstract: The present apparatus and method relates in general to sealing a hole in a floor with a precast plug. A precast plug is created by pouring a wet aggregate mix into a form mold and thereafter inserting a pre formed rod into the uncured mixture, positioning it such that the center of the rod rests in the center of the form mold and the ends of the rod extend outward near the top of the form mold. The mix is then cured. The precast plug may then be transported to the hole that it is destined to fix. Grooves may be carved on either side of the hole to accommodate the rod's ends. The interior of the hole and the exterior of the plug may then be covered with a sealant, after which the plug may be inserted into the hole. Once the sealant cures, the hole is fully repaired.

A downturned lower fence engaging hook extends from the bottom of the shaft to engage the bottom of the fence. The lower fence engaging hook is embedded in the ground along with the shaft of the fence post in order to hold the bottom of the fence against the ground. The fence post also has an upturned upper fence engaging hook extending from the top of the shaft to engage the top of the fence and hold the top of the fence up and above the ground. An upturned intermediate fence engaging hook extends from the shaft of the fence post between the lower and upper fence engaging hooks to engage the middle of the fence and hold the middle up and above the ground.

Abstract: This invention discloses a high strength security lock cylinder. The lock cylinder includes a front lock housing, a front lock plug, a rear lock housing, a rear lock plug, a horizontal bar, and a lock cam. The front and rear lock plugs are connected with the lock cam and can drive the lock cam to rotate. An electronic locking mechanism is placed inside the front lock plug. The rear lock plug is connected with an axel, which is connected with a knob that contains a digital control board and an electrical power source. A signal transmission channel is formed along the horizontal bar for transmitting signals between the electronic locking mechanism and the digital control board. The lock cylinder is flexible, strong, and resistant to drilling and lock picking and it can be digitally controlled. This reduces the security risks caused by misplacement or unauthorized use of keys.

The automated child safety unlocking system enables operability of the interior vehicle doors by an occupant to allow unencumbered egress from the vehicle to prevent a child or other individual from being trapped in the vehicle. The result is reduced risk that children or other vehicle occupants become dangerously entrapped within an overly hot, cold, or dangerous vehicle.
