Such community data hub systems and methods may provide one or more of the following: (a) storage of scoring data, swing data, ball flight data, and/or equipment data for multiple golfers; (b) at least some level of individual access to the stored data for the community; and/or (c) electronic interaction between golfers within the community.

The total distance of travel provided by fine height adjustment may be less than an incremental distance with coarse height adjustment.

Abstract: A portable basketball hoop has a backboard, a rim, and a positioning structure. The backboard has a lower portion foldable and rotatable connected to the rim. The backboard has a fixing apparatus deposited on a rear side of the backboard to securely connect to a fixing object. The positioning structure is deposited at a connecting position between the backboard and the rim to provide a positioning effect to the backboard and the rim when the rim is rotated for an angle of 90 degrees relative to the backboard. The rim will not separate from the backboard when a basketball pounds the rim, and this is easy in use and provides a stabilizing effect. When a user needs to carry the portable basketball hoop, the rim is rotated toward and abuts the backboard to reduce the total volume of the portable basketball hoop, and can be stored and transported conveniently.

Abstract: A set of diving devices and methods of using the same in, for example, a water-based game, are provided. The devices comprise two or more diving devices, each being configured to be tossed into a body of water and upon entry to cause a water entry noise that is distinct from water entry noises corresponding to each of the other diving devices in the set of diving devices. The distinctness of the water entry noise for each device in the set is due at least in part to at least one of a size of each of the diving devices, a shape of each of the diving devices, a density of each of the diving device, and/or a weight of each of the diving devices. The methods involve users attempting to retrieve devices based upon distinct water entry noises and/or emitted audio signals, with points being awarded thereupon.

Abstract: A bucket is provided having a lower cylinder or truncated cone and a bottom. A lid is secured to the lower cylinder by for example a locking hinge. The locking hinge includes a first leaf secured to the lid and a second leaf secured to the lower cylinder. The first leaf and the second leaf define cooperating knuckles through which a pin extends. The pin further defines at least one tongue and the knuckles further define at least one cooperating groove: in an unlocked orientation, the tongue is not secured in the cooperating grove and the knuckles are free to pivot about the pin; in a locked orientation, the tongue is secured in the cooperating grove and the knuckles are not free to pivot about the pin. The lid in an open position is in an approximately 90° orientation from the plan of a top opening of the bucket.

The panel has one or more apertures that permit an object passage through the entrance plane of the goal. The rotary assembly has an axis of rotation and at least one arm that rotates there-about. Each door is located proximate a respective aperture and movable between a closed position and an open position based on motion by the rotary assembly.

Abstract: A bat alignment assembly for training a batter comprises a bat having a distal end and a proximal end. A barrel is located adjacent to the distal end of the bat. A handle is disposed adjacent to a proximal end of the bat. The barrel of the bat comprises a physical hitting surface. The bat alignment assembly includes an alignment assembly on a bat which facilitates positioning a batter's hands on a handle of the bat in an optimal batting orientation. The alignment assembly may include a base tone and a secondary tone, wherein the base tone and the secondary tone at least partially define an alignment interface. A method of training a batter to maximize an area of contact with a ball is also presented.

Abstract: A sports pitching and hitting training apparatus generally including a vertical pole, a base affixed to an end of the vertical pole, and first and second horizontal poles, the first and second horizontal poles being removably affixed to the vertical pole. The vertical pole may have a plurality of apertures extending along the length of the vertical pole, for receiving, securing and supporting an end of each of the horizontal poles. In some embodiments the apparatus includes a pair of vertical zone indicators removably and movably positioned on the first horizontal pole, having a receiving channel at their top end to receive the horizontal pole and provide a point of suspension for the vertical zone indicators from the horizontal pole, to form a zone of interest with the horizontal poles.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a striking apparatus and provides multiple configurations to that apparatus. More particularly, this disclosure describes the striking apparatus having a rotatable target that may be secured on a door end assembly. In one illustrative embodiment, the target may be coupled to a rotatable member having a plurality of compression loops there between. A support may lock the rotatable member, and thus the target, at an angle through a bolt pattern spaced at forty-five (45) degree to fifteen (15) degree increments. The support may be secured to the door end assembly through at least one clamp and at least one fastener.

Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for tracking a dribbling and/or passing motion associated with a person engaged in either a training session for a sporting event or the live play of the sporting event. In sporting events, a dribbling motion can be associated with a repetitive movement or a short trajectory sequence between changes of direction of a ball, puck or other object used in the sporting event. A passing motion can be associated with the movement of the ball, puck or other object between two people during the sporting event. The system can use one or more sensors to capture information about a person dribbling and/or passing an object and at least one processor to analyze the information to determine and evaluate one or more characteristics associated with the dribbling, the passing motion, or a transition from dribbling to passing.

Abstract: A gulf putting game and practice tool has a plank that has several marks equidistant and that places the balls correctly on a planar surface. The surface can be synthetic or natural grass. The marks on the plank are used to always position the ball correctly to the right place. On a synthetic surface, at one end of the member is a target having a detector that sends out a signal to indicate when the ball goes into a target successfully. A fence member prevents further progression from the ball. On a natural surface, the target is a standard golf hole in the ground.

Abstract: Various marking apparatuses are provided that incorporate a soluble component and a marking component. The soluble component dissolves in the presence of a solute and the marking component is left as a residue that can be used, for example, to designate a boundary for a recreational activity. In one example, the marking apparatus may be a marking tape that can be utilized to apply a temporary mark on a surface. The marking tape can be affixed to the surface by, for example, inserting a stake through one or more apertures of the marking tape. The user may also utilize measurement guides provided on the marking tape to accurately measure distances without the use of extra equipment. When exposed to a solute such as water, the soluble component of the marking tape dissolves and leaves behind the marking component. Both the soluble component and the marking component may be biodegradable and the marking tape may require little to no upkeep after deployment.

Each card delivered by a card feeder from the one or more shuffled decks of playing cards is inspected. Upon a condition that a shuffled deck of playing cards is determined to be defective, at least one of discarding the defective shuffled deck of playing cards or preventing a recurrence of a defect found within the defective shuffled deck of playing cards.

Abstract: A dealing robot device with dual card shoes is provided in the present application. The dealing robot device comprises a machine robotic arm, an electric poker rack, a controller and dual card shoes. The controller sends a controlling instruction to regulate movements of the robotic arm or the electric poker rack with which operations such as dealing or recollecting poker cards is completed such that a time difference between two rounds of games played by two different groups of players is effectively saved by the dealing robot device with dual card shoes. Accordingly, the efficiency of an online reality poker game is promoted by the dealing robot device with dual card shoes in the present application.

Abstract: This disclosure relates to a tile tray configured to facilitate manipulation of tiles. More specifically, the disclosed tile tray includes at least one cell including a bottom, at least one side abutting the bottom and extending upward therefrom, a node extending upward from the bottom and having a flat top surface, and a channel between the node and the at least one side. A tile positioned atop the top surface of the node may be manipulated by pressing a portion of the tile into the channel, thereby raising the opposite portion of the tile, the node serving as a fulcrum. The portion pressed into the channel may be moved along the channel, thereby rotating the tile, or the raised opposite portion may be grasped by a user to flip or move the tile.

Abstract: Aspects of the present disclosure describe methods and apparatuses for improving efficiency in emulation. An emulated CPU receives inputs and generates a first set of frames. The frames are stored in a buffer on the emulator. Once all of the frames in the first set of frames have been produced, the contents of the buffer may be delivered to an emulated GPU. Each frame is then rendered by the emulated GPU. It is emphasized that this abstract is provided to comply with the rules requiring an abstract that will allow a searcher or other reader to quickly ascertain the subject matter of the technical disclosure. The system specifies one of the plurality of moving image distribution servers for distributing the specified content to the user terminal based on a first determination of whether the specified content requires the predetermined type of distribution and a second determination of whether the content requires the predetermined type of processing.

Abstract: Systems and methods for executing multiple video games, or other sources of video, include a cloud game execution environment in which each game application is executed on the same operating system but within a virtual I/O shell. The virtual I/O shell includes virtual video, audio and input channels that allow each game application to operate as if it had dedicated drivers. In some embodiments, the systems and methods of the invention are used to provide video streams to a plurality of clients over the internet.
