Abstract: The present invention relates to compositions of benefit agent containing delivery particles and slurries comprising benefit agent containing delivery particles, compositions comprising said particles, and processes for making and using the aforementioned particles and compositions. Such slurries and benefit agent containing delivery particles are stable and when employed in compositions, for example, cleaning or fabric care compositions, the particles in such slurries increase the efficiency of benefit agent delivery, thereby allowing reduced amounts of benefit agents to be employed. In addition to allowing the amount of benefit agent to be reduced, such particles allow a broad range of benefit agents to be employed. The compositions can comprise particles, cakes, powders, particulates, aggregates, aggregate clusters and slurries comprising the benefit agent containing delivery particles.

Abstract: Disclosed herein are compositions for removing silicone resins and methods of thinning a substrate by using the same, as well as related methods, apparatus and systems for facilitating the removal of silicone resins. More particularly, disclosed herein are compositions for removing silicone resins, the compositions including a heterocyclic solvent and an alkyl ammonium fluoride salt represented by a formula, (R)4N+F?, wherein R is a C1 to C4 linear alkyl group. Silicone resins may be effectively removed by using the compositions since the compositions exhibit an excellent decomposition rate with respect to the silicone resins that remain on a semiconductor substrate in a process of backside grinding of the semiconductor substrate, backside electrode formation, or the like.

Abstract: What is disclosed is a liquid composition containing: 80 mol % to 99.9999 mol % of (Z)-1,2-dichloro-3,3,3-trifluoropropene (1223Z) and 0.0001 mol % to 20 mol % of (E)-1,2-dichloro-3,3,3-trifluoropropene (1223E). The liquid composition has small impact on the global environment and exerts azeotrope-like properties. Therefore, the composition of the liquid composition is not substantially changed even when the liquid composition is used in an open system or used for a long period. The composition of the liquid composition is also rarely changed even when the liquid composition is recovered by distillation. Therefore, the liquid mixture according to the present invention can be used suitably as a cleaning agent (a solvent).

Abstract: A method comprises: sorbing a sample solution comprising nucleic acids to a sample receiving portion of a quartz fiber filter by contacting the sample solution with the sample receiving portion; and washing the sample receiving portion while keeping most of nucleic acids around the sample receiving portion by flowing a wash solution through the sample receiving portion under a wicking force directed away from the sample receiving portion. An associated apparatus is also provided.

Abstract: Aspects of the disclosure relate to barcoded chimeric adeno-associated virus (AAV) capsid libraries, chimeric capsids and related recombinant AAVs (rAAVs) identified using the libraries. Spedfically, the chimeric AAV capsid libraries comprise a plurality of nucleic adds encoding AAV capsid proteins, wherein each nucleic acid (i) encodes a unique AAV capsid protein having distinct polypeptide regions of greater than six amino acids in length that are derived from at least two different AAV serotypes, and (ii) comprises a unique barcode sequence. Further disdosed are methods of preparing an AAV library and identifying AAV capsids tropic for a target tissue.

Abstract: Described herein are methods and compositions for rapid and precise genome editing at any desired genomic position in almost all cells and organisms. The methods utilize a cytosine-specific Cas9 endonuclease and are suitable for applications requiring targeting cytosine adjacent DNA. The methods generally include introducing a cytosine-specific Cas9 endonuclease, a single guide RNA, and optionally a DNA repair template that is utilized in either non-homologous end joining or homology directed repair. The methods can be used to effect gene knockout, gene knockdown, gene substitution, or gene introduction in cells and organisms.

Abstract: Double-stranded nucleic acid molecules (100, 200, 300, 400, 500 and 600) are provided comprising a sense strand (110, 210, 310, 410, 510 and 610) and an antisense strand (120, 220, 320, 420, 520 and 620). The sense strand has a 3?-overhang (115, 215, 315, 415, 515 and 615) of from four to eight nucleotides. The double-stranded nucleic acid molecules include double-stranded RNA (dsRNA), double-stranded DNA (dsDNA), double-stranded DNA-RNA (sense-antisense) hybrid and double-stranded RNA-DNA (sense-antisense) hybrid. The double-stranded nucleic acid molecules have beneficial properties in terms of unaided cellular delivery (e.g. in the absence of a cationic agent), cellular delivery and release of the antisense strand in a cell as a single-stranded molecule and the delivery of the antisense strand into the nucleus of a cell as a single-stranded molecule. Related compositions, cells, uses and methods are also provided.
