Publication number: 20180265818Abstract: The present invention relates to compositions of benefit agent containing delivery particles and slurries comprising benefit agent containing delivery particles, compositions comprising said particles, and processes for making and using the aforementioned particles and compositions. Such slurries and benefit agent containing delivery particles are stable and when employed in compositions, for example, cleaning or fabric care compositions, the particles in such slurries increase the efficiency of benefit agent delivery, thereby allowing reduced amounts of benefit agents to be employed. In addition to allowing the amount of benefit agent to be reduced, such particles allow a broad range of benefit agents to be employed. The compositions can comprise particles, cakes, powders, particulates, aggregates, aggregate clusters and slurries comprising the benefit agent containing delivery particles.Type: ApplicationFiled: March 28, 2018Publication date: September 20, 2018Applicant: Encapsys,LLCInventors: Johan Smets, Corey James Kenneally, Ariel Lebron, Pascale Claire Annick Vansteenwinckel, Robert Stanley Bobnock, Peggy Dorothy Sands, Todd Arlin Schwantes, Chad Alexander Hladilek

Publication number: 20180265867Abstract: Double-stranded nucleic acid molecules (100, 200, 300, 400, 500 and 600) are provided comprising a sense strand (110, 210, 310, 410, 510 and 610) and an antisense strand (120, 220, 320, 420, 520 and 620). The sense strand has a 3?-overhang (115, 215, 315, 415, 515 and 615) of from four to eight nucleotides. The double-stranded nucleic acid molecules include double-stranded RNA (dsRNA), double-stranded DNA (dsDNA), double-stranded DNA-RNA (sense-antisense) hybrid and double-stranded RNA-DNA (sense-antisense) hybrid. The double-stranded nucleic acid molecules have beneficial properties in terms of unaided cellular delivery (e.g. in the absence of a cationic agent), cellular delivery and release of the antisense strand in a cell as a single-stranded molecule and the delivery of the antisense strand into the nucleus of a cell as a single-stranded molecule. Related compositions, cells, uses and methods are also provided.Type: ApplicationFiled: September 21, 2016Publication date: September 20, 2018Inventors: Oommen P. Oommen, Oommen P. Varghese
