A grip cross-section no greater than 15 mm from the top end includes a planar portion cross-sectional width no less than 4 mm, a first cross-sectional length, L1, and a maximum cross-sectional width located at a depth D1 from the planar portion such that D1/L1 is no greater than 0.40. According to another aspect, a grip cross-section between 120 mm and 140 mm from the top end includes a cross-sectional maximum width, W3, and a cross-sectional length, L3, such that W3/L3 is no greater than 0.90.

The viscoelastic polymer may have a tangent of delta peak temperature between-70 degrees Celsius and ?20 degrees Celsius at a 1 Hz frequency. An elastic modulus (F), in megapascals (MPa), of the viscoelastic polymer has a relationship to a striking face thickness (t), in millimeters (mm), defined Ê??14{circumflex over (t)}+305. The elastic modulus (F), in megapascals (MPa), of the viscoelastic polymer has a relationship to an effective stiffness (5) of the striking face, in gigapascals per meter (GPa/m), defined by Ê??1.16?+258.33. The disclosed embodiments measure a force exerted on the center-strap or the singles stick by the net. Abstract: The present disclosure provides a basketball goal vibration damping apparatus for attachment to a basketball goal assembly. In some embodiments the vibration damping apparatus is a tuned mass damper mounted or mountable to a basketball goal assembly. The tuned mass damper may use magnetic damping to accelerate damping of the basketball goal assembly to a normal static state after an impact.

Abstract: A system, device, and method are provided herein for remotely trigger a light on an awareness article. In some embodiments, the awareness article is a vest used by football players where a plurality of awareness vests are in electronic communication with an electronic device. A coach can control activation of the light on each awareness vest such that, for example, a quarterback can throw a football to the person wearing the awareness vest with the activated light. Various other aspects of the system, device, and method are described herein, and other applications of the awareness vest can include other sports such as soccer and hockey, dog training such as hunting and schutzhund, and military training such as war games, target practice, and enemy identification.

Abstract: A golf training aid. The golf training aid includes a base having a front surface, a rear surface, an upper surface, a lower surface, a first side surface, and a second side surface. A pair of vertical elongated rods extend from the upper surface at an angle towards the first side surface. The pair of elongated rods are substantially parallel to one another and a gap is defined therebetween. At least one alignment guide extends from the front surface of the base and is substantially perpendicular relative to the front surface.

Abstract: Generally, described are methods, apparatuses and systems for a recommendation engine which determines a recommendation based upon a terrestrial parameter and an overall factor unrelated to the terrestrial parameter. The recommendation engine may receive as inputs: (1) some data relating to the terrestrial parameter and (2) some data relating to user operation of a mechanical device. An overall factor may be calculated or obtained, at least in part, from the data relating to user operation of the mechanical device. And based upon the data relating to the terrestrial parameter and the overall factor, a recommendation may be determined and transmitted. In one embodiment, as part of the transmission process, the recommendation may be displayed to a user requesting the recommendation.

A timer controls the time of a speed hand and is started at the beginning of play of the card game. The technology employs a fantasy game server in communication with one or more users' electronic mobile devices, such as smartphones. The technology displays digital images of sports players and/or promotion or other tokens on the users' mobile devices, on which the users can capture the sports players they wish to add to their fantasy sports teams through a user interface of the fantasy game server. The molecule-containing first phase can be optionally concentrated without also concentrating the particulate contaminants and introduced into a multi-stage liquid-liquid extractor, by which the biological molecule or molecular contaminants are extracted from the first phase into a third phase, thereby purifying the molecule away from contaminants. The extracted sample can be further purified through a series of processing steps. The system can be run in continuously mode to maintain sterility of the sample.

The angled side of the fitting has a different angle than the angled end of the housing. The filter also includes a compression collar fitted over the housing to compress the housing and the fitting. The result is a filter that may be used as a high-pressure fluid restrictor. The filter uses only mechanical seals to provide leak-proof highly filtered fluids in which impurities, contaminants and particulates are removed.
