The interior volume can receive a handle of a golf club therein. A grip is affixed to the housing, wherein the grip extends perpendicularly away from the housing at the open lower end. A strap is affixed to the housing at the open upper end, wherein the strap can removably secure the housing to an arm of a user.

Abstract: A storage device includes at least one set of first and second tubular members, and a plurality of elastic cords that form a penetrable barrier. A first end of each elastic cord is coupled to a first tubular member by a knot, and a second end of each elastic cord is coupled to a second tubular member by positioning an enlarged body in a keyhole. A method for assembling a storage device includes securing first and second tubular members to a frame, looping an elastic cord around the first tubular member, and inserting an enlarged body into a keyhole of the second tubular member. In alternative example, each end of the elastic cord includes an enlarged body and each end of the elastic cord is positioned in a keyhole. In another alternative example, the first tubular member is fed through the loop of each elastic cord.

Abstract: A golf information service method realized in a screen golf system, the golf information service method, includes: a mobile terminal of each of a plurality of users accessing a server connected to a simulator, configured to realize an image in which a virtual ball is simulated on a virtual golf course such that the users play a virtual golf game, over a network; the server receiving information about the golf game that is being performed by the simulator from the simulator; the server transmitting the information about the golf game, received from the simulator, and information about a course map based thereon to the mobile terminal; and the mobile terminal displaying information about progress of the golf game on the course map of a hole on which the golf game is being played based on the information about the golf game.

Abstract: A neck cushion system for reducing the likelihood of brain injuries in American football includes a helmet that is worn during athletic activities to absorb impact energy. A pair of shoulder pads is provided and the pair of shoulder pads is worn during athletic activities. A cushion is provided and the cushion is worn around a neck when the helmet and shoulder pads are worn. The cushion is positioned between the helmet and the shoulder pads when the cushion is worn. Moreover, the cushion is comprised of a resiliently compressible material. In this way the cushion transfers impact energy from the helmet to the shoulder pads to reduce the likelihood of a brain injury the could result from the impact energy.

Abstract: A goaltender device features a cord; a wrist strap attached or attachable to a first end of the cord; and a clip attached or attachable to a second end of the cord for selective attachment of a goalie glove thereto. During use, the goaltender temporarily removes their goalie glove to expose the glove hand for use in a two-handed grip on a goal stick, during which the goalie glove hangs on the cord from said glove arm of the goaltender. The goaltender then uses a thrusting movement of the glove hand arm to pulling the glove back up to the glove hand via the cord.

Abstract: The presently disclosed subject matter is directed to a golf glove that provides enhanced gripping of a golf club. The golf glove includes a compartment positioned within the inside surface of the glove that houses padding material, adjacent to the user's fingers, thumb, and or palm. As a result, the user's grip pressure is reduced to an acceptable level, thereby reducing or eliminating overgripping of the golf club.

Abstract: An articulated controller is provided that enables a user to simply, and intuitively enter complex movements into a game with high accuracy, and while maintaining a constant grip. Abstract: Video games can be improved upon by combining traditional gameplay mechanics (e.g., a player's use of a controller) and live-action combat elements that may be measured and scored. For example, a player may fire projectiles at a target when prompted by a game, may have to dodge projectiles fired at the player as part of the game, may have to traverse the room to touch or move an object, and/or may have to strike a dummy or other object as instructed by the game. Such live-action combat aspects may be incorporated into a video game having otherwise traditional gameplay mechanics.

Abstract: A three-dimensional image device for providing an improved sense of immersion includes: a moving stage that includes a seat on which a viewer sits and a seat moving mechanism for moving the seat; a first transparent curved display located in front of the viewer and having a curved surface shape that is concave in the direction in which the viewer watches the first curved display, wherein the seat moves according to a first displayed image; and a second curved display located behind the first curved display and having a curved surface shape that is concave in the direction in which the viewer watches the second curved display, wherein the second curved display displays a second image overlapping the first image. Accordingly, it is possible to enhance the three-dimensional effect of a three-dimensional image, to increase a sense of immersion, and to improve a sense of realism.

The game features can be linked with activities in the real world such that player actions associated with the game features in the virtual world can lead to or encourage activity in the real world, such as commercial activity and/or data collection activity in the real world. A one-time password may be used to validate a player's location in the real world and to enable controlled access to game features in the virtual world.

Abstract: A system for automated tuning of a computer-implemented game is configured to enable definition of a performance metric indicative of player performance in a computer-implemented game that has tunable gameplay parameters. A performance target is defined that represents target values for the performance metric during progress in the game. The system executes a gameplay simulation using an automated player, and performs an iterative tuning operation based on results of the simulation. The tuning operation automatically determines a suggested value set for the tunable parameters.

Abstract: The present invention provides systems, methods and apparatus for a wearable band adapted to be worn by a user. The wearable band may include one or more biometric sensors such as a pulse monitor adapted to monitor a pulse of the user, and a transmitter adapted to wirelessly transmit pulse information from the pulse monitor to a mobile device such as a cellular telephone or PDA. Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for creating and managing a season-long fantasy sports contest with team-based tradeable instruments. Each instrument may represent a single team that accumulates points based on the occurrence of team-based events over the course of the season. Each participant may be allocated the same set of instruments at the start of the season with each set including a single instrument for each team in the league. Based on a fixed number of team-based events guaranteed to occur, a pay table may be generated that indicates a pre-determined payout associated with each number of possible points accumulated. At the end of the season, a payout for each participant may be determined based on the pay table and the total number of points associated with the participant's final set of instruments.

The swing arm seat is formed with an axle hole extending in a vehicle body direction and having two ends each combined with a bearing for rotatably receiving and supporting a bridge swing arm. An opposite end of each bridge swing arm is mounted to the front and rear bridges so as to form a novel chassis structure of a remote control crawler vehicle. In this way, the front and rear bridges are allows to take up and down swings in a one-axis manner of movement.

Abstract: A system for extracting liquid is provided. The system includes a vacuum source and a nozzle having a wettable plunger and a vacuum tube connected in flow communication with the vacuum source. When the plunger is partly submerged in the liquid and the vacuum source is actuated to initiate a flow of gas through the vacuum tube, droplets of the liquid separate from at least a portion of the unsubmerged part of the plunger and become suspended in the gas flow. The system also includes a cooling structure positioned adjacent to the vacuum tube to facilitate solidifying the droplets suspended in the gas flowing through the vacuum tube.

Abstract: A method for cleaning oily waste including water, solids and at least one fuel oil includes removing water from the oily waste to be cleaned so as to produce dried oily waste; introducing dried oily waste into a two-phase centrifugal separator through a liquid inlet; separating the dried oily waste in the two-phase centrifugal separator into a cleaned oil phase and a sludge phase; discharging the sludge phase through a sludge outlet of the two-phase centrifugal separator, and discharging the cleaned oil phase through a liquid outlet of the two-phase centrifugal separator. A system for cleaning oily waste including water, solids and at least one fuel oil is also disclosed.
