Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a system for confident daily make-up application comprising a makeup compact and a client device. The system may be applied to specific facial features or entire faces for a complete style. The client device is configured to provide an interactive user experience by displaying templated instructions for makeup application. Templated instructions provide a ‘paint-by-numbers’ approach to daily makeup application. The makeup compact further comprises a client device housing, wherein the client device can be docked for the duration of makeup application and coaching. The client device housing is separated from a protective cover by a semi-transparent display that can allow for tactile interaction with the client device. The semi-transparent display, therefore, in this orientation, serves as a back projection plane, wherein the template instruction from the client device is communicated to the user as it appears on the semi-transparent display.

Abstract: Provided are polyketone toothbrush bristles and a toothbrush comprising the same. The toothbrush bristles are made using a polyketone material having high rigidity, high elasticity and excellent wear resistance and thus shows reduced bristle gap-widening and increased service life. The toothbrush bristles obtained by using the polyketone according to the present disclosure have excellent elasticity and are suitable for removal of plaque on the severely indented tooth surfaces. Particularly, in the case of fine bristles, it is possible to remove interdental plaque, which, otherwise cannot be removed well by the conventional toothbrushes.

Abstract: Apparatus and associated methods may relate to a collapsible tree system having limbs which automatically pivot from a low-profile position while the tree is in a collapsed state to an in-use position when the tree is in an extended state. In an illustrative example, the system may include limb supports movably disposed along a central support. Movement of the limb supports closer together and further apart may cause the limbs to pivot to and from positions. For example, due to limb contact with an adjacent limb support, the limbs may be caused to pivot to the low-profile position. When no forcible contact is present between an adjacent limb support and limb, gravitational forces may permit the limbs to freely pivot to the in-use position. In an illustrative example, each limb support may include a nesting cup for receiving a proximal end of the limbs while in the stowed position.
