The package can include an opening portion and a weakening feature. In some embodiments, the opening portion can be made of a polymer composition. In some embodiments, the weakening feature has a thickness below 200 micrometers and is thinner than parts of the opening portion directly adjacent to said weakening feature. The polymer composition can include sodium sulphite particles. The gusset of the expandable container expands when purge water enters the expandable container. The shut-off valve of the hose adapter is closed when a user determines that the water temperature has reached a desirable bathing temperature. The adapter of the hose is removed from the threaded spout of the expandable container by a user. The user places a removable spigot on the threaded spout of the expandable container. The user dispenses the purge water from the expandable container during a subsequent use.

Abstract: The invention is directed to a stacking efficient dry flow bin. The bin can be configured in a nested configuration for transport and in an expanded configuration for use in holding and dispensing a flowable material. Abstract: A separable container and related method for delivering predetermined portions of product contained within a container is provided. The container has a sidewall having a plurality of frangible sections disposed at predetermined distances along the height of the sidewall. A plurality of flexible dividers are interspersed with the product in the container, each of the flexible dividers being substantially aligned with a respective frangible section of the sidewall. Sidewall segments are separable from the container to expose a predetermined portion of the product contained therein, and the flexible dividers define a boundary between adjacent predetermined portions of product to facilitate separation of the exposed predetermined product portions from a remainder of product seated within the container sidewall.

Abstract: The present invention discloses a disposable liner container for wax melt dish of the wax warmer that makes disposing of melted wax easy and mess free and also without any risk of burns to the user. The liner container of present invention comprises a circular flat base plate and an upstanding side walls inclined outwardly from the base plate all around the circumference of the base plate with an outwardly extending rim at the edges of the walls. Moreover, it comprises of a pair of the wings/extensions extending out from either sides of the liner from the edges of the side walls that enables user to hold and dispose the hot melted wax from the dish quickly without any harm or burns. Furthermore, the liner container is made of metal, most preferably, but not limited to, a foil of an aluminium and resembles/mimics the size and shape of the dish of the wax warmer.

This is a particularly flexible, self-sustaining rolled. Such packaging offers a combination of advantages noted in flexible packaging in combination with advantages of rigid packaging, particularly on the possibility of stacking and ease of manufacturing and handling. Still, the present invention refers to a process of preparation of the said package.

Abstract: The present invention relates to improvements for shopping and merchandise bags with integral handles. Disclosed is a bag with integral handles and closure elements located below the integral handles. Further disclosed is a process for manufacturing a reclosable bag with integral handles. The handles and bag may be formed from a wave-cut polymeric tube. In addition, the handles of the bag may be formed from a wave-cut polymeric tube while the body of the bag is formed from a side-gusseted polymeric tube. The disclosed bags and methods to make such bags provide cost effective solutions for providing reclosable bags with integral handles.

Abstract: An adhesive closure strip and dispenser are presented. The device includes a dispenser housing including a roller rotatably disposed therein. A sheet comprising the adhesive closure strips is rolled along the roller and is configured to extend out of an opening of the housing. The sheet can include various designs or indicia on an upper side thereof. The lower side of the sheet includes a reusable adhesive material thereon. The sheet is divided into segments via a plurality of perforations wherein each individual segment includes a non-adhesive pull tab portion for easy removal from the housing. The pull tab also allows for a portion of the closure strip to remain free to pull on after the closure strip has been used to seal a bag or container. In use, a section of sheet can be torn away and applied to a flexible bag to releasably seal the opening thereof.

Abstract: A closure includes a top panel and a corner section connecting an outer periphery of the top panel with a downwardly extending annular skirt. A plurality of gently curved ridges are spaced about the outer perimeter of the closure. The ridges generally extend from a lower portion of the skirt and around the corner section, with the upper ends of the ridges terminating proximate the top panel outer periphery. A plurality of knurls extend radially outwards from the midpoints of the ridges along the skirt of the closure. The configuration, arrangement, and spacing of the ridges and knurls about the closure provide an enhanced grip and feel, allowing for easier twist-off of the closure from a container. The closure may be used interchangeably with existing capping chucks used to apply conventional closures without requiring any modification to the capping chucks to apply the closures to containers during a capping process.

The container and the lid are sized to nest, such that when the lid is fixed to the container, the container cavity and the lid cavity occupy substantially the same space and the container walls and the lid walls overlap.

Abstract: Provided herein is a moisture barrier film for packaging, such as tobacco or cigarette packaging. The film comprises polylactic acid (“PLA”) that is both biodegradable and transparent. The film includes multiple layers of PLA, with a base layer having a relatively high melting point compared to two outer layers, which have a relatively low melting point. The outer layers provide heat sealing capabilities to the film. The film is coated with a metal oxide layer comprised of aluminum oxide, titanium oxide, and/or aluminum-titanium oxide using an atomic layer deposition (“ALD”) coating method. The ALD coating to the PLA film results in a moisture transmission rate of less than 4 g/m2/day after the film has been subjected to creasing, which induces cracking of the ALD metal oxide layer.
