Abstract: Aspects herein are directed to an article of apparel having a vent opening formed by overlapping the edges of a first panel and a second panel. A plurality of discrete overlay film structures are applied to the second panel adjacent to the vent opening. When the article of apparel is exposed to an external stimulus, the film structures undergo a reversible increase in dimension in at least the z-direction which cause the second panel of material to undergo a reversible decrease in dimension in the direction of a longitudinal axis of the vent opening thereby causing the vent opening to dynamically transition from a closed state to an open state.

Abstract: A heat dissipating hat with atomizer structures primarily comprises a hat body and a plurality of atomizer structures connected to the hat body, wherein on a rear rim of the hat body are disposed a battery and a water storage groove therein is disposed a water injection opening; the plurality of atomizer structures are disposed on a rim of the hat body and a rim of a visor and are connected to the water storage groove and the battery with a tube body and a guide line respectively, wherein on the tube body are disposed intervally arranged release vents. When the hat is worn on a hot summer day, an appropriate amount of water is provided to each of the plurality of atomizer structures from the water storage groove, oscillated into water mist therein, and sprayed through the release vents arranged on the tube body from a rim of the hat body and a bottom of a visor onto and around the face of the wearer to achieve the effect of heat dissipation and cooling on a hot summer day.

Abstract: An articulated brim mount for a helmet light that mounts on the brim of a hat or worker's helmet enables pivoting of the helmet light through angles of up to 210 degrees in a vertical plane and at least 360 degrees in a horizontal plane. The pivots are configured to provide controlled friction so that the angles of the light can be adjusted by hand without tools while retaining the position set by the user.

Abstract: A system for providing safety assistance in a vehicle. The system includes a helmet and a first plurality of sensors in the helmet. The system further includes control circuitry that captures a first plurality of signals from the first plurality of sensors in the helmet. The first plurality of signals indicates first motion information corresponding to the helmet. The control circuitry further controls one of an inflation element or a hardening element disposed in a wearable garment based on a determination that the first motion information corresponding to the helmet exceeds a first predefined threshold.

Abstract: Systems and methods of a safety helmet for protecting the human head against repetitive impacts, moderate impacts and severe impacts so as to significantly reduce the likelihood of both translational and rotational brain injury and concussions can be provided. The helmet can include an outer shell, an outer liner disposed within and coupled to the outer shell, and an inner liner disposed within and coupled in spaced opposition to the outer liner. A polymer liner can be coupled to the inner liner and can at least partly separate the outer liner and the inner liner. Pads and dampers can also couple the outer liner and inner liner and provide for and control omnidirectional movement of the liners relative to each other.

Abstract: A facial concealment assembly for concealing a user's face when the user is sleeping includes a fitment that is extendable around a user's head. A brim is coupled to the fitment and a screen is removably coupled to the brim. Thus, the screen hangs downwardly from the brim when the fitment is worn on the user's head. The screen has a length of at least 14.0 inches such that the screen covers the user's face and chest when the fitment is worn around the user's head. The screen is comprised of a one-way see through material to conceal the user's face and chest from observers. In this way the user can sleep discretely on public or private transportation.

Abstract: A motorized shoe assembly includes an electronic device, such as a smart phone or the like, that is carried by a user. A shoe is provided and the shoe is worn on the user's foot, and the shoe has a sole and a heel. A first roller is rotatably coupled to the sole of the shoe for rolling on the support surface. A second roller is rotatably coupled to the sole of the shoe and the second roller is aligned with the heel. Moreover, the second roller is spaced upwardly from the support surface when the sole rests on the support surface. Alternatively, both of the first and second rollers engage the support surface when the shoe is tilted rearwardly onto the heel. A motor is positioned within the shoe and the motor is in mechanical communication with the second roller. The motor rotates the second roller when the motor is turned on to urge the user along the support surface.

The compact ratcheting buckle mechanism comprises a base plate which holds a ratchet tab and release tab, which are spring-loaded and held in place by pivot pins which pass through slots in the base plate. The ratchet and release tabs are then able to articulate. The ratchet tab teeth engage with a compatible ratchet ladder strap, which passes through the compact ratcheting buckle mechanism linearly when the ratchet tab is articulated. The release tab holds applied tension in the compact ratcheting buckle mechanism, and is substantially covered by the ratchet tab to ensure for a compact design and low chance of accidental release. The compact ratcheting buckle mechanism can be released through a defined pincer motion, disengaging both the ratchet tab and release tab teeth from the compatible ratchet ladder strap.

Abstract: A brush with bristles attached to multiple sides is designed to clean any gutter guard type that is manufactured today, including reverse curve type gutter guards. The brush has a main body of reverse-oriented bristles and accommodates an extension pole on the “reverse” side. When placed on top of the gutter guard, the brush can be pushed/pulled back and forth using the pole to dislodge any unwanted debris attached to the gutter guard's working surface. The use of the pole removes the need for a person to be on the roof when attempting to clean the gutter and/or gutter guard. With multiple bristle orientations, the brush cart be used for other outdoor cleaning uses, such as house fixtures, structures, windows and so forth.

The cleaning tool comprises a hollow handle for holding a liquid, the handle having a first coupling mechanism fixed to said handle. The cleaning tool also includes a brush head having a second coupling mechanism fixed to the brush head, the second coupling mechanism releasably securable to the first coupling mechanism, a heat resistant scrubbing pad extending therefrom, and an outlet in fluid communication with the hollow handle. The outlet is positioned proximate the scrubbing pad to expel the liquid therefrom. The scrubbing pad is adapted to withstand temperatures of at least 100 degrees Celsius, such that when liquid flows through the outlet onto the heated grill, the heat of the grill vaporizes the liquid into steam, which helps to clean the grill in combination with the scrubbing pad.

Abstract: A collapsible measuring and cutting craft table enables cutting, measuring, and stowing fabric and craft materials from a foldable, height-adjustable, and mobile work surface. The craft table comprises a large, flat work surface having a center panel and two hingedly attached drop leaf panels that fold down for storage. Center support members support the center panel in a horizontal position at the desired working height. Two center support members supports the center panel of the work surface.
