Abstract: The invention provides a shoe spike with elasticity and grip, comprising a mounting part arranged at the bottom of a shoe sole, wherein the bottom of the mounting part is provided with a guiding column, and the top of the guiding column is clamped into the inside of the mounting part; an elastic part is provided on the bottom of the mounting part and on the surface of the guiding column, and the elastic part is hollow. When the wearer steps on the ground to make the ground contacting part contact the ground and receives pressure, the elastic part and the ground contacting part move upwards along the guiding column for a certain distance synchronously; the elastic part shrinks and produces elastic deformation, thereby generating elastic force; the ground contacting part is made of hard material, which produces sufficient grip.

Abstract: A shoe extension for gait modification includes a vamp section, a base section, an attachment strap, and a restraining mechanism. The vamp section is connected to a top surface of the base section forming a receiving slot. A toe box of a shoe worn on a healthy limb is slidably positioned into the receiving slot such that the base section is positioned along an outsole of the shoe. The attachment strap is utilized to establish a connection with the shoe. By increasing an overall length of the footwear worn on the healthy limb, a speed of motion of the healthy limb may be reduced in order to increase weight bearing on the unhealthy limb. The restraining mechanism, which is preferably integrated into a bottom surface of the base section, may also be used to reduce the speed of motion of the healthy limb.

The mesh substrate layer can wrap partially above and below the midsole so that edges of the layer can be conceals between the midsole and an upper, or between the midsole and an outsole layer. The mesh substrate can include a mesh material and a film sheet bonded to one another, with the film sheet facing the midsole and the mesh textile facing outward in the finished footwear. A related method of manufacture also is provided.

Each spike has an end face with grooves defined therein. When the hiking shoe is under a stationary mode, the spikes do not protrude beyond the anti-slip blocks. When the hiking shoe is operated under an action mode, the end face of each of the spikes protrudes beyond the distal end of the anti-slip block corresponding thereto so as to provide friction.

The method includes the following steps of: designing a shoe tree and a shoe style, and selecting a material; attaching paper to an outside of the shoe tree to make a paper pattern; manufacturing a bottom pad, a middle pad and a foot pad, and punching a circular hole in the middle pad; soaking the leather pad with an antibacterial agent, punching semi-spherical protrusions and a connecting groove on the leather pad, forming a circular pinhole in a top end of the semi-spherical protrusion, pasting the leather pad on the middle pad with a glue and cutting the leather pad to manufacture a shock absorbing massage pad; wrapping the shoes, and shaping; and placing the shock absorbing massage pads and the foot pads into the shoes. The shoes manufactured have good breathability, shock absorbing property and antibacterial property.

Abstract: The invention provides a body wax applicator and system for use in treatments involving the application of wax to the body for removal of undesired body hair. It is particularly suitable for use in strip-less waxing. The applicator is configured with a brush portion of silicone that has a plurality of bristles that provide an angled contact surface. The applicator and system allows for the tidy and controlled heating of hard wax and subsequent application of molten wax to the human body for the purpose of removing hair.

The trimming shears include a first handle, a second handle, and at least one blade. Pivotal movement of the first handle relative to the second handle urges the blade between a pre-cut position and a cut position. The transition from the pre-cut position to the cut position being configured to cut a claw positioned in the blade path. The trimming shears may further include a guide for receiving a respective claw and guiding the claw to be positioned within the blade path. In one example, the guide may include a single aperture, wherein an effective opening area of the aperture is adjustable to accommodate a respective claw. In another example, the guide may include a plurality of apertures, each sized for receiving a respective claw size.

Abstract: Hairbrush bristles become filled with hair and accumulate residue. It is difficult, if not practically impossible, to clean the brush because of the close proximity of the bristles. An invention is claimed herein which enables the bristles to be moved apart such that there is sufficient clearance to easily clean them.
