Abstract: The present application provides a hazard containment system (“HCS”) and method of using the same. The HCS includes an outer liner, which is based on the re-use of available shipping containers, and an inner liner thus providing a “double walled” system.

Abstract: A fire reactive barrier device for protecting a fire wall system penetrated by a pipe or a conduit. A cylindrical sleeve is closed around and encapsulates a portion of the pipe or conduit penetrating the wall system. A flange extends externally along the outside surface of the wall to fully cover a penetration from the pipe or conduit. An intumescent component located within the sleeve expands on exposure to elevated temperatures filling any gap or space in the wall created by the pipe or conduit melting. The intumescent component may also penetrate holes in the sleeve to further expand out into the interior wall space. A system for protecting a fire wall system penetrated by a pipe or a conduit employs a second fire reactive barrier device positional on the opposite side of the fire wall system.

The system comprising a battery pack having a housing defining a volume, a battery module arranged within the housing, and a plurality of battery cells arranged within the battery module, where the plurality of battery cells are configured to provide an electrical output. The system also comprising a suppression system coupled with the battery pack, the suppression system comprising a nozzle configured to receive a gaseous fluid and a liquid fluid, where the nozzle is configured to deliver a mist suppressant including the gaseous fluid and the liquid fluid to the battery pack, such that the gaseous fluid entrains the liquid fluid to mitigate the thermal runaway event.

Abstract: A two member plastic pipe fitting adapter for installing a threaded sprinkler head. The members are coupled together to form a chamber for housing an annular gasket. The gasket chamber includes an expansion void and bearing surfaces for the gasket. The adapter includes a receptacle with an internal thread for engagement with a sprinkler head to load the gasket and form a fluid tight seal. The engagement between the sprinkler and the adapter is formed by dissimilar threads to minimize the outward radial forces on the adapter.

Abstract: A system includes an energy storage system (ESS), having battery pods and one or more battery cells disposed within the battery pods. The system also includes an ESS trailer, the ESS mounted on the ESS trailer. Also, the system includes a water spray subsystem. The water spray subsystem includes a plurality of sprinkler nozzles mounted within the battery pods and a first fluid connection fluidly connecting the sprinkler nozzles to a pump package. In addition, the water spray subsystem includes a second fluid connection, fluidly connecting the pump package to a water storage supply. The system includes a dry chemical spray subsystem, which has a dry chemical supply vessel, the dry chemical supply vessel mounted to the ESS trailer and a plurality of dry chemical distribution nozzles mounted within the battery pods, the dry chemical distribution nozzles fluidly connected to the dry chemical supply vessel by dry chemical distribution piping.

The valve includes a solenoid including a core and a coil, and a valve body having a closed state in which fluid is prevented from flowing through the valve body and an open state in which fluid flows through the valve body. The valve sensor detects at least one of the valve body and the coil and causes an alarm to be triggered responsive to not detecting the at least one of the valve body and the coil in a respective target position of the at least one of the valve body and the coil.

Abstract: An embodiment of the present disclosure of an exercise bag system that includes a bag article, a first closure system, a second closure system and a third closure system. Each of the first and second side panels have an inner surface that at least partially defines the internal space and an outer surface. The first closure system is at the top and proximate the opening and inside the bag article. The second closure system is at the top and located entirely on the outer surface of the first side panel. The third closure system is at the top and on a foldable panel coupled to the first side panel, such that when the first closure system and the second closure system are engaged, the third closure system is configured to be engaged to seal the bag article.

The motion detecting unit detects at least one motion of the swing. Particularly, the sensors and data acquiring unit calculates swing information using the acquired detection data to match a user’s swing motion to optimized equipment. Particularly, the data acquiring unit acquires detection data from the sensor(s) and forwards such data to a computing device or server having stored information that matches the swing motion to an optimized swing device.

Abstract: The invention relates to a method, in particular a computer implemented method, of controlling a force and/or resistance generator of an exercise apparatus (1), which apparatus includes a plurality of physical transmission ratios (10, 4) between a user force input device (7-9) and the force and/or resistance generator and at least one shifter (12) to select a desired transmission ratio. The method includes the steps of determining the engaged physical transmission ratio, mapping the engaged physical gear ratio onto a virtual transmission ratio, and adapting the generated force and/or resistance based on the virtual transmission ratio.

Abstract: In one aspect, a swimjet system may include a reverse thrust system worn by a swimmer proximate the frontal upper torso. The system provides a variable amount of reverse thrust such that the user can swim-in-place or make gradual forward progress. Importantly, this may enable a user to effectively “extend” a small residential pool to serve the same function as a twenty-five meter pool typically found at commercial or government facilities. The system also provides laminar current under the user while swimming, which solves the problems of “leg drop,” the need to “out-kick” the arm stroke, and turbulence and wave action around the head associated with conventional swim-in-place devices. Still further, in certain embodiments the system provides a relatively strong current in the region of the arm stroke moving away from the swimmer which provides enhanced “resistance” for proficient swimmers.

Abstract: Embodiments of golf club heads and methods to manufacture golf club heads are generally described herein. In one example, a golf club head may include a body portion having a front portion, a rear portion, a toe portion, a heel portion, a bottom portion, a top portion, and a crown portion covering an opening in the top portion. The crown portion may include an inner composite layer, an outer composite layer, and a toe-side integral rib disposed between the inner composite layer and the outer composite layer. The toe-side integral rib may extend rearward from a toe-side integral rib starting location between a vertical plane of the golf club and a toe-side golf ball plane and terminate at a toe-side integral rib ending location between a toe-side bounding plane and the toe-side golf ball plane. The resilient layer has an opening through which a metallic weight pad at least partially extends. The weight pad is bonded to the structural layer and includes an aperture for attaching a metallic weight. The golf club head can also have one or more structural members that are upright and connect the weight pad to the crown member.

The golf tee includes a platform coupled with an end of the shaft opposite of the tapered end. The platform has a top surface that is concave in shape and configured to hold a golf ball and a groove passing through the platform perpendicular to the axis of the shaft. The groove extends in the direction of the axis of the shaft through the top surface of the platform, bisecting the top surface to form first and second opposing sides of the platform. The groove includes a bore section. The bore section of the groove is larger in diameter than a width of the groove measured from the first to the second opposing sides of the platform.

The rebound frame defines a first central opening. The base frame defines a second central opening. A flexible rebound surface spans the first central opening. The rebound assembly selectively connects to, and detaches from, the portable basketball goal assembly. When the rebound assembly is attached to the portable goal assembly, the rebound surface redirects basketballs that fall through the net. When the rebound assembly is detached from the portable basketball goal assembly, the rebound assembly is free standing.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a swimming and aquatic exercise system and a method of use thereof. The exercise system includes a modified vest that has a ring rotatably affixed to a back portion of the vest. The vest has adjustable straps and a waist belt to secure the vest around a swimmer. A rope is removably attached to the ring using a cord hook wherein the opposite end of the rope is fastened to an anchor or any other fixed point around a pool. In use, the vest is worn by a swimmer to enable the swimmer to perform a full body aquatic workout while the fastened rope prevents the swimmer from advancing forward, and therefore enables the swimmer to swim and perform water exercises in place without getting in the way of other users of the pool.
