Abstract: An air-filtering face mask designed to provide effective respiratory protection is described that combines comfort, versatility, and reliable protection. The face mask includes a mask body having one or more layers, allowing the wearer to breathe comfortably while using the mask. The mask body is reversible, providing the option for use on both sides, also the mask body is constructed with air holes, facilitating efficient airflow and effective filtration of harmful pollutants. Additionally, a pocket is attached to the mask body, enabling insertion and secure retention of at least one filtration unit for efficient air filtration. The mask is held in place on the wearer's face by a fastener that incorporates a pair of fastening elements, allowing the wearer to adjust the length of the fastener to achieve an optimal fit corresponding to their face size and shape.

The upper edge of the sheath includes a lip for compressing against the pant leg. A stirrup attached to the lower edge of the sheath is included, the stirrup passing underneath a person's shoe or foot to secure the lower edge of the sheath to a lower portion of the pant leg. In a rainy environment, the device covers a person's lower pant leg to prevent the pant leg and/or the person's shoe from exposure to rain and other condensation.

Abstract: A multi-layered multifunctional polymeric latex article is provided. A first polymeric latex layer, having nitrile butadiene, is resistant to chemical permeation whilst the second polymeric latex layer disposed on the first layer, being a composite layer of polychloroprene and Nano clay, is resistant to chemical degradation. The third layer disposed on the second layer is a polychloroprene layer having a unique micro-roughened surface texture pattern, providing an improved grip and friction in both wet and dry conditions. The second and third layers are disposed during the wet gelled stages of the first and second layers respectively. The gelled third layer is dipped in a solvent mixture whereby a chemical reaction causes the gelled surface of the third layer to texturize by swelling and fixing, creating a continuous and discontinuous wavy micro-roughened surface which is then cured causing formation of ionic crosslinks in the third polymeric layer.

The liner is positioned on an inner surface of the membrane. The outer layer, membrane and liner are laminated to form a single glove. The glove includes a plurality of fingertip portions in which the outer layer, membrane and liner are substantially fully laminated throughout. The glove may include a 3D pattern formed in one or more layers of the laminate. The glove may include an enlarged knuckle section. A hand mold and system for making the gloves and a method are also disclosed.

The water resistant protection layer protects a wearer's skin against the microplastics captured by the microplastic attraction and capture middle layer.

Abstract: A device, attachable to a waist band of a garment, facilitates the use of suspenders. An elongate rectangular body of the device has a front surface and a back surface. This body has ratio of length to width that is the range of about 4:1 to about 10:1, and a ratio of width to thickness in the range of about 8:1 to about 20:1. At least one knob having a head held in spaced-apart relationship with the body by a post is used to secure the suspenders. The elongate rectangular body and each knob are formed from a thermoplastic, preferably in an integral manner.

Abstract: The present invention discloses trousers with a retractable waistband. With a width gap of a pocket opening, a part of an outer waist sheet at the pocket opening on a waistband is sewn with an elastic waist strap. The elastic waist strap is sewn above the inner waist pocket cloth. An elastic waist strap of an inner waist sheet and an elastic waist strap of an outer waist sheet are arranged in a left-right dislocation. Therefore, the waistband can be automatically stretched and retracted. Compared with traditional trousers in the prior art, stretching of the waistband can reach about 10 cm. The waistbands of the trousers of different sizes are only about 5-8 cm different. A spacing between an edge of an inserting opening of a pocket and an outer side seam of the trousers only is changed with different waistlines.

Abstract: The invention relates to a protective sports helmet purposely designed for a selected group of helmet wearers from amongst a larger population of helmet wearers. A multi-step method for helmet design starts by collecting information from a population of players that may include information about the shape of a player’s head and the impacts the player has sustained. This information is then processed to create player population information that is sorted to create categories. Advanced mathematical techniques are utilized to further sort these categories into player groups or data sets based on player attributes. Once the player groups are identified, another multi-step process is utilized to design optimized helmet prototype models for each player group.

A parasol fan assembly includes a parasol fan structure comprising at least one attachable fan device. The attachable fan device attaches to a portion of the parasol fan structure, such as a strut, and the device includes rotatable fan blades that are driven by an electric motor. The presently disclosed attachable fan device include an electrical actuator mechanism which ensures that when the operation of the device ceases the fan blades become stationary and parallel to the strut and thus do not interfere with folding the parasol fan assembly. In some embodiments, the parasol fan assembly further comprises a safety mechanism comprising a Hall sensor, the mechanism prevents accidental operation of the attachable fan device.
