  • Patent number: 12068859
Abstract: A user equipment (UE) and a network agree on the use of a hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) codebook. The UE receives a plurality of downlink control information (DCI) transmissions during a corresponding plurality of physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) monitoring occasions from the base station, wherein each DCI transmission schedules multiple physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH) transmissions on a corresponding one of a plurality of component carriers (CCs), receives a time domain resource allocation (TDRA) table configuration from the base station, determines a maximum number of PDSCH transmissions per CC based on the TDRA table configuration, groups the plurality of CCs together and determines a hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ)-acknowledgement (ACK) codebook size based on a number of the multiple PDSCH transmissions, the maximum number of PDSCH transmissions, and a resulting ACK or negative acknowledgement (NACK) for each of the multiple PDSCH transmissions.

  • Patent number: 12068862
Abstract: Some embodiments include an apparatus, method, and computer program product for enhanced Hybrid Automatic Repeat Request (HARQ)-ACK in a fifth generation (5G) wireless communications system. A user equipment (UE) can receive, during a HARQ-ACK window, a semi-persistent scheduling (SPS) Physical Downlink Shared Channel (PDSCH) transmission or a Physical Downlink Control Channel (PDCCH) transmission corresponding to a SPS PDSCH release. The UE can generate a Hybrid Automatic Repeat Request (HARQ)-ACK information bit corresponding to the reception. The UE can be configured with an offset value, k, and a length, l, of the HARQ-ACK window associated with an uplink transmission slot n, of a Physical Uplink Control Channel (PUCCH) transmission, and determine a starting slot of the HARQ-ACK window as n?k. When a corresponding valid uplink transmission slot is not available, the UE can transmit the HARQ-ACK information bit in the uplink transmission slot n of the PUCCH transmission.

  • Patent number: 12068867
Abstract: The present invention relates to fast start-up of powered devices (22) connected to a power sourcing equipment (10?) in a Power over Ethernet system (100). A stored voltage-current profile of an initial powering phase of a powered device (22) is provided. A voltage level provided to the powered device (22) in a subsequent initial powering phase of the powered device (22) is adjusted as long as a value corresponding to a current voltage level of a voltage-current profile of the subsequent initial powering phase deviates less than a predetermined threshold level from its corresponding value of the stored voltage-current profile of the initial powering phase of the powered device (22) and until a predetermined voltage level is reached. This can allow detecting whether a previously connected powered device (22) was replaced by another powered device (22) and to immediately start-up an unchanged powered device (22) with previously used operation parameters.

Abstract: An approach is described for a method for a fifth generation (5G) wireless communication or a new radio (NR) system that includes the following steps. The method includes generating data samples associated with a sampling rate. The method further includes generating a waveform by populating a first slot and a second slot in a subframe of the waveform using the data samples, wherein slot durations of the first slot and the second slot in the subframe of the waveform equal respective durations of a first slot and a second slot in a subframe of a reference waveform to thereby align the first slot and the second slot in the subframe of the waveform with the respective first slot and second slot in the subframe of the reference waveform. The method further includes transmitting the waveform using front end circuitry, wherein the waveform is a single carrier waveform, and wherein the reference waveform is an orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) waveform.

Abstract: One disclosure of the present application provides a method for a narrowband (NB) wireless device to determine whether or not to transmit a scheduling request (SR). The method may comprise a step of determining whether or not to transmit an SR by using a resource for the transmission of a hybrid automatic retransmit request (HARQ) acknowledgement/negative acknowledgement (ACK/NACK) signal. The step of determination may be performed if one or more HARQ processes are run. The resource for the HARQ ACK/NACK signal may include a narrowband physical uplink shared channel (NPUSCH).

  • Patent number: 12068901
Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. In some systems, a transmitting device may perform a pre-distortion of a signal on a resource allocation for the signal and using discrete Fourier transform (DFT)-domain processing. For example, the transmitting device may perform a first frequency-domain (FD) to time-domain (TD) transform, which may be an example of an inverse DFT (IDFT), on a first set of FD symbols to obtain a first set of TD samples. A size of the first FD to TD transform may be based on the resource allocation for the signal. The transmitting device may perform a crest factor reduction (CFR) function on the first set of TD samples to pre-distort the signal in the TD (e.g., in the IDFT domain), which may enable the transmitting device to avoid out-of-band (OOB) emission or otherwise have greater control over where the pre-distortion contributes energy.

Abstract: With exponential growth in virtualized traffic within physical data centers, many end users (e.g., individuals and enterprises) have begun moving work processes and data to cloud computing platforms. A visibility platform can be used to monitor virtualized traffic traversing a cloud computing platform, such as Amazon Web Services, VMware, or OpenStack. But it can be difficult to manage how the visibility platform handles incoming virtualized traffic. Introduced here, therefore, are graphs that visually represent the network fabric of a visibility platform. When the network fabric of the visibility platform is represented as a graph, an end user can easily modify the network fabric, for example, by adding, removing, or modifying nodes that represent network objects, adding, removing, or modifying connections between pairs of nodes that represent traffic flows between pairs of network objects, etc.

The relationships are found based on past interactions between the entities. A relationship network graph having nodes representing entities and edges is built representing interactions between respective entities. The relationship network graph is analyzed to identify pairs of nodes having a relationship based on an evaluation between edge paths between the pairs of nodes compared to edge paths between other pairs of nodes. Associations are built between services owned by entities represented by the nodes of a pair of nodes identifying that nodes are dependent on one another.
