Abstract: An apparatus for executing a method of manufacturing multi-piece closed-back isolation garments (410) includes machinery for creating discrete torso web pieces (412) from a continuous torso web, combining the discrete torso pieces with a continuous shoulder web (414) having neck openings (444) therein, and cutting the combined torso and shoulder web structure to form the isolation garments. The isolation garments may be used as protection from potentially hazardous or unclean materials in a variety of different environments.

A rear region of the headband includes downwardly projecting, flexible arms, that secure the fielder's mask to the wearer, while also facilitating efficient, one-handed donning and removal of the fielder's mask. In some embodiments, the flexible arms engage the back of the wearer's head behind the wearer's ears. Elastic straps may be attached to the headband to further secure the fielder's mask to the wearer's head.

Abstract: A motorcycle helmet, having a helmet shell, a chin part for covering a chin portion of a wearer, and a visor, uses a coupling mechanism by means of which the chin part is fastened to the helmet shell and pivotable between a lower position and an upper position. Abstract: This disclosure concerns a shoe system including at least three separable and interchangeable components. The shoe system includes an inner layer, an intermediate layer, and an outer layer. These three components are separable layers which, when assembled and worn by the user, are nested within each other, retaining the user's foot inside the inner layer. The intermediate layer and the outer layer may have friction features which interlock together when the shoe system is assembled. The intermediate layer and the outer layer may have match features which match in some substantially recognizable way to indicate to the user that the intermediate layer is properly assembled within the outer layer.

Abstract: A skate (e.g., an ice skate) for a skater (e.g., a hockey player). The skate comprises a skate boot for receiving a foot of the skater and a skating device (e.g., a blade and a blade holder) disposed beneath the skate boot to engage a skating surface (e.g., ice). At least part of the skate boot and optionally at least part of one or more other components (e.g., the skating device) may be constructed from one or more materials (e.g., foams) molded by flowing in molding equipment during a molding process (e.g., injection molding or casting). This may allow the skate (or other footwear) to have useful performance characteristics (e.g., reduced weight, proper fit and comfort, etc.) while being more cost-effectively manufactured. The connecting member connects a plurality of positions on the periphery of the bottom portion of the waterproof shoe upper. The sealing layer is injection-molded at the bottom portion of the waterproof shoe upper and penetrates into the periphery of the bottom portion of the waterproof shoe upper. The sealing layer and the waterproof shoe upper are enclosed to form a waterproof shoe cover with a sealed bottom portion.

Abstract: Provided is a block type outsole and a shoe manufacturing method including same that can firmly fix the block type outsole to the base portion without an adhesive, thereby providing the shoe with excellent durability, and undergo no hydrolyzation of an adhesive even in wet places and cause no concern of being detached from the shoe due to reduced adhesion, thereby providing the shoe with excellent waterproofness. In addition, the block type outsole and shoe manufacturing method including same can manufacture a shoe including a block type outsole having abrasion resistance and anti-slip function only by using a simple process, thereby showing excellent process efficiency.

Abstract: A golf shoe with a sole assembly having a sidewall reinforcement structure is provided. The reinforcement structure may be formed from a carbon composite or other reinforcing material. The reinforcement structure is molded into the sole assembly for reinforcing softer midsole sidewalls, and for providing increased stability and maintaining forefoot flexibility. The structure is generally U-shaped with a medial and lateral side wing and a bridge connecting the wings. The medial wing may be angled rearward to support the rearfoot, and the lateral wing may be angled forward to support the midfoot. Thus, the reinforcement structure may hold and support the medial and lateral sides of the golfer's foot as they shift their weight while making a golf shot. At the same time, the shoe has good flexibility so the golfer is able to walk and play the course and engage in other golf activities comfortably.

Abstract: Golf shoes having improved outsole constructions are provided. The golf shoes include upper, midsole, and outsole sections. The outsole includes a first set of arc pathways extending along the outsole in one direction. A second set of arc pathways extend along the outsole in a second direction. When the first and second arc pathways are superposed over each other, four-sided tile pieces are formed, and these tiles contain protruding traction members. In one embodiment, the tiles comprise a first protruding traction member, an opposing second protruding traction member, and a non-protruding segment disposed between the first and second traction members. Different traction zones containing different traction members are provided on the outsole. These zones provide improved multi-surface traction. In one embodiment of the outsole, there is no channeling and no trenching of the golf course turf. There is less damage to the golf course for a given amount of traction.

Abstract: Aspects herein are directed to a reinforced knit channel for an upper configured to receive a lace. The knit channel includes a first knit layer and a second knit layer that at least partially overlaps the first knit layer and is interlooped with the first knit layer at a first interlooped area and a second interlooped area. A channel region is present between the first and second interlooped areas. A first portion of a tensile strand is integrated into the first knit layer in the channel region, and a second portion of the tensile strand extends over a surface of the first knit layer within the channel region. The tensile strand helps to reinforce openings into the channel region.

Abstract: The present invention relates to an improvement in the field of lash lifts using a coupled magnetic system with double-adhesive tape for application of eyelash solutions. The coupled magnetic system comprises a base component for placement on an eyelid which attracts a band component to hold eyelashes inbetween the base and band components. In particular the coupled magnetic system allows for the application of formulations (permanent solutions and/or tint) to eyelashes without the concomitant use of liquid adhesive glue to the eyelashes.
