Abstract: A hair drying and styling system includes a hair styling tool assembly having a handle, a split barrel having, a first-member, and a second-member, a detachable brush attachment, a power source, a control panel, and a hair dryer. The device provides a hair styling tool with detachable brush attachments which may be used for drying hair. The detachable brush attachments may be rotatable for drying with the hair dryer and once detached provides a hair curler which may be left in the hair.

The hair styling aid (1) comprises a guide (16) for receiving a length of hair to be styled, and a rotatable element (20). Abstract: A heatable hair roller includes a roller shell and a removable heatable rod. The unheated roller shell is secured in the hair without risk of heating or burning the skin. The heatable rod is then inserted into the roller shell, and the heatable rod heats the hair by heating the roller shell. An optional roller strap secures the roller shell to the hair. An optional expansion sleeve increases the effective diameter of the heatable rod. An optional heating unit heats the heatable rod.

Abstract: Hairbrushes having removable handles, kits, methods of use, and methods of sale are provided. The hairbrushes attach to the handles with a rod-and-socket quick-release system that provides a single-button quick-release coupler between a hair brush and a hair brush handle. The system facilitates easier hair curling using the brushes to curl up the hair and then releasing the handle to allow the brush to remain in the hair. The kits comprise brush-heads, at least one handle, and a container. The method involves creating a hairstyle for a customer using the brushes and then providing the customer a custom kit of the same types of brushes for use at home.

A spring locking mechanism having a spring element is interposed between the clamping lever and clamping means for opening and closing the clamping means.

The housing incorporates a handle assembly 12 containing a heating element for electrically heating the air in use, an on/off switch 24, quick release ring 26 and temperature burst button 20. At one distal end of the curling wand 12 is a curler attachment port 30 that allows the user to insert a curler 14 and release the curler by a quick release ring 26. The assembly 12 allows for the use of a variety of different size and style curlers 14. A storage case 38 is provided.

Abstract: A curling iron is provided having two handles coupled to two heating tips having non-symmetrical cross-sectional shapes with respect to their lengthwise axes. At least one of the heating tips is rotatably coupled to its handle to rotate along an axis lengthwise along the handle. By the use of this handle heated hair curler rollers may be individually removed from a vat of boiling curling solution, strands of hair easily rolled around each roller, the handle removed and the process repeated the desired number of times. When all the rollers have cooled and dried, the handle is again used to unwind and remove the rollers one at a time. The now-curled strands then are lightly combed to combine individual curls.

Abstract: A spherical curler and method for using same are provided to enable a user to obtain a helical curl having a continue of varying diameters within each lock of curled hair. This varying diameter helix provides a new and distinct look for the curled hair. In addition, the spherical configuration allows more curlers to be placed on the head as compared to conventional cylindrical curlers having the same sized diameter. Also, the spherical configuration of the curler provides for less wasted space on the curler, and allows each curler to be more completely utilized for each respective lock of hair.

In accordance with the method the strands of hair are normally first wetted, and then thereafter wrapped around the two step rod with the small end approaching the scalp as close as comfort will permit.
