It is comprised of a bar that has sliding adjustable clamps that secure a cable which go around pulleys on a router or other cutting device that when the cable is pulled taut, creates a path for the router or other cutting device to follow while it cuts thus cutting an arch into the work piece. Prior to this apparatus one would have to cut this arch with a template which had been previously tooled. This jig apparatus creates a template and cut all in one step.

Abstract: A plate joiner including a fence support, a drive, and a fence system. The fence support includes a cutter and a contact surface, which defines a cutter slot. The cutter is arranged and configured to protrude from fence support through cutter slot to make a plunge cut into a surface of a workpiece when the contact surface is pressed against the surface and the cutter is plunged into the workpiece by pushing on a rearward handle portion of the tool. The drive is arranged and configured to rotatably drive the cutter through a motor. A preferred fence system includes an angle adjustment system arranged and configured to position the fence at a wide range of fence angles and, at any selected distance from a top face of the workpiece to the fence, the distance from the top face of the workpiece to the cutter remains constant as the front fence angle is adjusted. A preferred fence system includes a trunnion which pivotally couples the front fence to the fence system.

Abstract: A base plate for mounting a router in a support table provides a plate configured to fit in an orifice, having an inwardly extending ledge thereabout, defined in the support table with the router supported by the base plate to depend therefrom. The base plate defines a medial orifice for passage of the router shaft through the orifice for operative positioning of a cutter carried on the router shaft above the base plate. The base plate medial orifice releasably carries plural annular inserts to cover space between the router shaft and the support plate portion defining the medial orifice. Plural adjustment screws are carried in threaded engagement in the ledge of the support surface orifice for vertical motion to adjustably move adjacent portions of the base plate periphery upwardly from the ledge to create a coplanar relationship of adjacent portions of the base plate and support table.

Abstract: The present invention facilitates the fabrication of an unlimited variety of dovetail joints without the use of standardized template devices. Additionally, the device is capable of supporting a workpiece on both sides of the router bit cutting edge and adjusting the angular orientation of the guiding fence in relation to the axis of directional translation. The device is comprised of a router table and a slideably coupled positioning apparatus. The router table comprises a tabletop and means for securing a router so that the router's cutting bit extends upwardly through a central orifice. The upper surface of the router table has two longitudinal guide grooves which are parallel to one another and equally spaced on opposite sides of the central orifice. The positioning apparatus is comprised of a guide fence unit with two pivotally secured parallel runners.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a stud (1) intended for a timber wall and a method for manufacturing the stud (1). The stud (1) constitutes a part of a wooden frame on which, for example, plaster board panels (12) are secured in order to form the wall. The stud (1) is provided with at least two longitudinal grooves (6, 7) made alternatingly from opposing sides (2, 3) of the stud (1). Each individual groove (6, 7) is wholly open towards that side (2, 3) it was made from. Each groove (6, 7) moreover displays openings (10, 11) in the opposite side (2, 3) and portions (8, 9) with residual material between the openings (10, 11). Each longitudinal groove (6, 7) is thus alternatingly through-going and alternatingly not through-going.

A row of multi-use adjustable spacers controls the indexing of a workpiece and can be used with a stationary and/or a portable cutting tool. The movability of the spacers permits a workpiece to be cut on both sides of a guide bar fence thereby assuring that the first cut will always be made on the same side of a drawer and will be esthetically pleasing regardless of the width of the workpiece. Additionally, the adjustability of the spacers accommodates any desired cutting tool height, angle and/or size.

The frame includes an adjustable guide for holding and a tracking a router with a cutting blade. The frame includes stops for limiting movement of the router during use. The guide and stops are configured to enable the cutting blade to cut two petals of a rosette design in a single pass. Inserts (fence blocks and/or router filler blocks) can be added to vary the position tracked by the router. The wheel is affixable into multiple angular positions relative to the guide so that multiple cuts can be made at different angular orientations relative to one another.
