Abstract: A Segmented Tire Apparatus for improving the reliability and performance of irrigation systems. The Segmented Tire Apparatus includes a plurality of arcuate tire segments coupleable end to end to form a circular tire. Each of the arcuate tire segments has a plurality of treads which may be radial, transverse, or semi-transverse. Additionally the apparatus may be filled with a closed cell foam to provide stability and rigidity while inhibiting water from collecting on the inside of the tire.
Abstract: Provided is a non-pneumatic wheel (100) for a vehicle, and a wheel (100), suspension (200; 200-1), and tire (300) used therein that are capable of ensuring driving stability because there is no air chamber between a wheel (100) and a tire (300) to blowout. They are also capable of ensuring good road holding, preventing standing waves, reducing brake fade and cornering force, providing good handling and ride comfort, staying quiet when rolling, and are economical and environmentally friendly.
Abstract: A tire system that includes a cylindrical metal rim with an outer surface and a plurality of solid tire segments, each of the tire segments having at least one track that is connected to a mounting plate, the mounting plates being circumferentially positioned adjacent to the outer surface of the rim. The tire system may be employed on an off-highway earthmoving machine such as a towed or other scraping device.
Abstract: A slip-preventing device of a tire has a plurality of arm frames each of which is contacted with an inner sidewall, a tread and an outer sidewall of the tire. The arm frame has a link unit at a side of the outer sidewall of the tire. The arm frames are linked with each other by the link units.
Abstract: Diazidosulfonyl-containing aromatic carboxylic acids useful as blowing agents, cross-linkers, adhesion promoters and in the production of azido-silane coupling agents.
