    Abstract: Cellulose cyanoacrylate is employed to bond two surfaces, fill voids or duplicate the shape of a three-dimensional object, Two surfaces may be bonded by placing a sheet of cellulose material between the surfaces and applying cyanoacrylate glue around the edge of the sheet until saturated and allowing it to cure. Paper toweling may favorably be employed as the cellulose material. A break or fracture in an article can be overlaid with a sheet of cellulose that when saturated with cyanoacrylate glue and temporarily held in place and shaped with a releasable film, the fracture can be corrected. A dry powder comprising highly abrasion-resistant particles can be mixed with the cellulose material to enhance abrasion resistance and to improve long-term color stability—especially important for dental cavity treatment. To duplicate the shape of a three-dimensional object, a sheet of releasable film is placed over the object, followed by a sheet of cellulose that is then saturated with cyanoacrylate glue.

    Abstract: The invention relates to a device for tensioning the fabric of a device for restoring a removable panel, characterized in that it comprises at least one structure, a thermal chamber arranged inside said structure and able to heat said flexible fabric, an internal frame elastically secured to said thermal chamber, and at least one actuator secured to the structure and able to move the thermal chamber so that, on the one hand, the thermal chamber is moved between a fabric at rest position and a fabric stretched position and, on the other hand, to move the internal frame between a fabric at rest position and an intermediate position located between said fabric at rest and fabric stretched positions, the flexible fabric resting on part of the thermal chamber and being held by its peripheral edge between the internal frame and the structure. The invention also proposes a method for coating a removable panel that uses the tensioning device.

The use of in-situ DVD also eliminates handling of the patch/adhesive when transferring from an off-aircraft DVD chamber to the repair site on the aircraft. This can increase the probability of successful repairs because the possibility of contaminating and misaligning the adhesive and repair patch are eliminated.

More specifically a method for applying cold spray over a weld line generated by the friction stir processing is disclosed. In some embodiments cold spray can be used to on its own to create a cosmetic joint between various parts.
