Abstract: A detachable spare-parts container mountable with a tool container, comprising a body having a plurality of drawers to contain spare-parts and being slidable, the body being insertable to the tool container, characterized in that a plurality of holes are provided to the top section of the body and an urging block is protruded from the external end at the top section of the hole, and the drawer is at a box body slidably engaged at the hole, thereby various types and a larger number of spare-parts can be stored within the container.

Abstract: A security mechanism adapted to a tool holder comprising a first member and a second member pivotally connected to the first, each of the members having a recessed portion defined on a mating surface to receive a portion of a tool shaft whereby a handle portion and/or other part of the secured tool is positioned outside of the security mechanism and the holder and is accessible to a user. The shaft security mechanism includes, preferably, a variable position locking means for securing the first and second members in the closed position in one of a number of locking positions. Preferably, a compressible insert slidably mountable onto the tool shaft portion may be inserted and registered into a cavity further defined by the recessed portions of the first and second members when the security mechanism is in an open position.

Abstract: A carrier or case having a first body panel, a spacer panel and a second body panel to which at least one pocket member is coupled. The pocket member forms a pocket having an open end which is adapted to retain an article, such as a saw blade. The spacer panel is disposed between the first and second body panels. The spacer panel and first and second body panels are foldably interconnected in order to allow selective movement of the first and second body panels relative to the spacer panel between an open position and a closed position, wherein the first and second body panels are substantially parallel to each other and spaced apart a predetermined distance defined by the spacer panel and the first body panel covers at least a portion of the pocket member to retain the article in the pocket when the article carrier is placed in the closed position.

Abstract: The disclosure relates to an instrument count stand for supporting scissors or scissor-like instruments having a pair of blades and a pair of handles. The stand includes a base having a plurality of slots for receiving portions of the instruments. A pair of side walls extending from the base support a roller. A handle is attached to the roller for moving the roller from a first position disengaged from the handles of the instruments to a second position which contacts the handles of the instruments and spreads the handles and accordingly the blade-like members of the instruments.

Abstract: A lock for the retention of articles such as box wrenches supported in place on a holder and including a barrier closely overlying the articles. Posts on the barrier include flexible segments for insertion into openings for locked engagement with the holder to retain the barrier in proximate the articles to prevent article removal from the holder. The flexible segments may be fractured by a purchaser for access to and removal of the articles.

Abstract: An aid to the manipulation of microfabricated micro tools in manufacturing and assembly is disclosed. A sequence of micro tools and a manipulator are connected to one another via attachment links as a combination. The attachment links are optimized to readily allow severing of individual micro tools from the combination as needed. The manipulator provides an aid for handling the combination via probe, pliers, clasping, mating or other device. This facilitates human or machine interaction with the combination of micro tools, either for subsequent processing, or for the assembly of the micro tools into a completed product.

Abstract: A receiving bag of a jack for storing a car jack made of plastic or cloth. The receiving bag has an approximately rectangular shape. The top of the receiving bag has a zippered opening, and the inner bottom of the bag has a rectangular bottom plate. The front and rear edges of the bottom plate are provided with respective transversally long fixing plates. Two fixing means are installed at the proper positions at one side of the bottom plate. A jack is received within the receiving bag and the wheels of the jack abut the fixing plates on the bottom plate. Furthermore, the fixing means serve to fix the handle of the jack. Thereby, the user may store the jack conveniently within the receiving bag for a long time.

Abstract: The present invention 10 discloses a device for safely storing and transporting saw blades 18 and related tools 34 for installation thereof. The present invention discloses a flat base plate 12 having a spindle 40 centrally located which has threaded fasteners 14 on both sides of the flat plate 12 so that saw blades 18 can be fastened onto both the front and rear face of the base plate 12. The base plate 12 also discloses spacers 22 on its rear side which serve to space the plate away from an object 48 upon which it is mounted. The plate 12 is also equipped with a tool holder 26 attached thereto which provides a compartment 30 for installation tools 34 to mount the blade onto the piece of machinery upon which the blades 18 are to be used. The base plate 12 also provides a carrying handle 24 for easily carrying the base plate 12 and saw blades 18 from one location to another. The present invention also discloses an upper and lower mounting bracket 50, 52 upon which the base plate 12 can be mounted.

Abstract: A dispenser of small hardware items includes a generally parallelepiped-shaped box with having a base containing a side opening for access to the interior. At least one removable cartridge is insertable within the box and has similar cross-sectional dimensions as the box, each cartridge containing a plurality of stacked holders for the hardware items. The cartridge further has a removable closure located at its base and positioned adjacent to the base of the box thereby permitting removal of holders one at a time through the side opening, upon removal of the closure. Each holder further includes a card having a foil backing of easily breakable material and a transparent cover bonded on preselected areas to the backing thereby creating distributed raised cells, between the backing and cover, for receiving hardware items of identical characteristics.

Abstract: A stackable crate and modular rack system for horizontally retaining large bottles such as used in the bottled water industry. The individual crates may be adapted to retain multiple bottles held in various configurations. The individual crates may be formed of multiple components. The crates are designed to provide stability when stacked on top of one another to form a modular rack system. The individual crates include an alignment feature, and a locking feature which also provides for sliding one stacked crate over another.

Abstract: A notebook type toolbox includes a casing and a cover pivotally connected to and releasably engaged with the casing. The casing includes shaped grooves for receiving tools and a handle. A bottom of the casing includes two pivotal sections in two ends thereof, respectively. Each of two lower corner areas of the casing is cut to form a space. Each of two lateral walls of the casing includes an end face facing the space. The cover has two lateral sides with a view opening therebetween. Each lateral side has a pivotal section pivotally engaged with an associated pivotal section on the casing. The cover is pivotable to a first position for engaging with the casing in which the tools can be viewed via the view opening and a second position that supports the casing in an inclined status in which the end faces rest on an outer side of the cover.

Abstract: A parts pack for accommodating a plurality of pocket boxes is composed of two identical one-piece casings connected with a plurality of hinges. The parts pack can be used to store one or at least one hand tool as a screwdriver. The pocket box for accommodating various small hardware is removable from the parts pack and can be carried easily with a user for remote applications.

Abstract: A tool bag comprises a bottom member, central panel member and fabric body portion. The bottom member and central panel member provide a structural support for the fabric body portion. The central panel member has a handle formed thereon enabling the user to easily lift and carry the tool bag. The fabric body portion has a plurality of fabric pocket panels which form pockets for holding workmen tools in a vertical orientation for easy accessibility. The fabric body portion also has a pair of fabric cover panels which enclose the tools within the tool bag. The tools within the tool bag are secured from view, compactly stored in an organized manner and easily carried.

Abstract: An adjustable tool bit storage structure provided in a tool box for keeping tool bits, which includes two upright lugs arranged in the tool box in parallel, a shaft pivoted to the two upright lugs and turned between a horizontal position and a vertical position, means for holding the shaft in one of a series of angular positions between the horizontal position and the vertical position, and a plurality of tool bit storage members respectively mounted on the shafts and secured in place by collars at the shaft for keeping tool bits.

A periphery that defines each cutout includes a resilient retaining element projected therefrom. Each resilient retaining element has a portion projected into an associated hole.

Abstract: A shipping and display system product shipping and display strip system displaying items, or product, at retail store check out counters and high traffic areas. The system includes an elongate flexible strip with an upper end designed for suspending from a structure. On the front surface of the strip are a plurality of spaced apart adhesive areas. Each of the adhesive areas has an adhesive on it for adhesively coupling an object to it.

Abstract: A collapsible curling iron organizer with a box, lid and a tray. The tray has holes with sleeves within which a heated end of a curling iron may be received and suspended from the tray. The lid has a stop for holding the tray at an incline, with the curling irons in a first orderly and compact arrangement, when the organizer is in use by a hair stylist. The tray has an aperture through which a compartment in the box can be reached for storing the curling irons in a second orderly and compact arrangement when the organizer is collapsed for travel.

Abstract: A tool box includes a housing for receiving tool members and one or more drawers slidably received in a base of the housing for receiving small objects, such as the nuts, screws, bolts etc. A plate and a cover are secured to the front portion of the base for slidably receiving the drawers. The base and the plate and the cover include one or more guide channels for guiding the drawers to slide relative to the base, and include one or more protrusions for retaining the drawers in the base, and includes one or more stops for preventing the drawers from being disengaged from the cover.

Abstract: An opening is defined within the bottom surface of the box portion of the tool case. A plastic panel recessed on the top and bottom faces to accommodate tools and components therefor is secured within the box portion. The top face of the panel is accessed in a conventional manner via a lid pivotably connected to the box portion, and the bottom face of the panel is accessed via a "butterfly" door pivotably connected to the bottom surface of the box portion. The butterfly door and the lid are secured to the box portion by a common securing means adapted to release one of either the butterfly door or the lid without releasing the other. The butterfly door is configured to pivot from a closed position where the butterfly door is flush with the bottom surface of the box portion, to an open position where the butterfly door is rotated away from the bottom surface of the box portion to provide access to the items stored within the bottom section of the tool case.

Abstract: An adjustable height tool bin system for self-supportive ladders includes an adjustable length strap allowing positioning of the tool bin at any height between the top and bottom of the ladder. Thus, the position of the present invention is independent of the ladder rungs and ladder platforms, allowing more freedom in placement of the tool bin system. The system also includes an attachable roll towel rack, a winding spool, a utility tray, a hook, a tool rack, and bin dividers each of which may be attached to the tool bin or the strap.

Abstract: A system and method for storing and packing items are provided. Trays are provided with overlapping recesses conforming in shape at least partially to the perimeter of the items. The items are nested one within another on each tray, and each tray is nestingly engageable with other trays. Nesting thus occurs in at least two dimensions, and packing efficiency is maximized.

Abstract: A container (10) adapted for holding, storing, and dispensing various elongated tool bits (28) or other such tool items includes a base (12) with a hinged cover (18) that is substantially completely enclosed within the base (12) when the hinge cover (18) is pivoted to its fully open position by way of a hinge assembly (36, 38) that is also substantially completely unclosed within the base (12). Provisions are made for substantially preventing or at least minimizing any tendency of the tool items (28) to fall or slide loose from their respective tool item receptacles (24) when the container (10) is tipped or inverted. In addition, the tool item receptacles (24) include a number of flats (60) therein for grippingly and releasingly receiving the tool items (28).

Abstract: A socket receiving device includes a base and a cover slidably mounted to the base which has a plurality of recesses for receiving sockets therein. A plurality of access openings are defined in a side of the base and respectively communicate with the recesses. The cover has a plurality of apertures separated by ribs and each aperture is located between the two adjacent recesses so that the socket in the recess is stopped by the rib. The cover has holes defined in a side thereof so that the socket can be removed from the hole corresponding thereto by adjusting the position of the cover relative to the base.

Abstract: A holder for fishing tip-ups, including upper and lower horizontal members defining at least one spaced aligned pair of upper and lower receiving-sites, respectively, the pair of receiving-sites configured to receive a tip-up for carrying purposes. The upper horizontal member is preferably an inwardly-extending annular ledge forming a holder-member top opening through which fishing gear may be inserted for carrying, the ledge defining the upper receiving-sites as complementary to a tip-up and most preferably opening radially inwardly, and the lower horizontal member defining the lower receiving-sites as complementary to a tip-up. In certain embodiments, for each lower receiving-site there are two upper receiving-sites to accommodate tip-ups of different widths, and the lower horizontal member defines the lower receiving-site as complementary at different depths to tip-ups of different widths. The holder member is preferably removably nestable within a fishing bucket member.

Abstract: A travel pouch for heated appliances is made from an elongated rectangular strip of material having three layers: an outer layer made from a decorative, flexible fabric; a middle layer made from a thermal insulative batting or padding; and an inner layer made from a flexible fabric coated with a heat resistant material, the inner layer being permanently fastened to the outer layer about its periphery to enclose the middle layer. About one third of the strip is folded and permanently fastened along the sides to form a pouch or pocket, the inside of the pocket being lined by the inner layer. The remaining one-third of the strip forms a flap. The flap may be folded in one direction to cover the pocket, being temporarily fastened with hook and loop fastening material, or it may be folded in the opposite direction and hung on a rod, being secured by hook and loop fastening material to provide access to the appliance.

Abstract: A retainer for receiving knives and cutting boards includes a base having a bottom with a top plate, a lower plate and two side plates. A cover has two lugs extending therefrom which are pivotally connected to the two side plates of the base. A sanitizing bulb is attached to the inside of the top plate and an outlet is defined through the lower plate wherein a collection box is connected to the lower plate and communicates with the outlet. A rack is connected to the bottom of the base and has a plurality of slots defined therein for the knives and the cutting boards being received therein.

Abstract: A bit receiving device includes a body with a block extending from the first end thereof and an engaging hole is defined in the block. A recess is defined in the second end thereof for receiving the block of another device. The two opposite sides of the body each have a dovetail-shaped protrusion extending therefrom and the other two opposite sides of the body each have a dovetail-shaped groove defined therein which is sized to receive the protrusion of another device so that the bit devices are assembled to be a desired tool with a bit engaged with the engaging hole of the front most device.

Abstract: The case has a box portion and a lid, with panel sections cooperatively configured to fit across the box portion, the panel sections being configured to accommodate articles such as tools and/or tool components, hobby items, craft kits, toys, etc. The panel sections may or may not be secured to each other, and may or may not be on the same level relative to each other. There may be two such panel sections, or a number of panel sections. The panel sections may include an opening to accommodate a storage compartment which projects upwardly from the bottom of the case and is accessible from the bottom of the case. In one embodiment, a lower one of the panel sections has above it at least one smaller panel section which is slidably mounted relative thereto.

Abstract: A stackable crate and modular rack system for horizontally retaining large bottles. The individual crates may be adapted to retain multiple bottles held in various configurations. The crates are designed to provide stability when stacked on top of one another to form a modular rack. The individual crates include an alignment feature, and a locking feature which also provides for sliding one stacked crate over another.

Abstract: A tool tray formed with compartments for tools is adjustably longitudinally slidable in a casing or cover. The cover is closed on one side and open on the opposite side and end. The closed longitudinal edges extend outward; on one edge are split vertical holes to support sparkplugs; the opposite side has holes of several sizes into which screwdriver blades, wrench handles and the like may fit. The open side of the cover has transverse struts but there is access through the openings between struts for tools in the tray compartments. The closed side of the cover is recessed and formed in areas having raised edges so that tools may be placed therein for easy access. A latch located near the open end of the cover holds the tray in retracted position.

Abstract: A device for storing or packing loose objects comprising a plurality of container elements, each having a bottom wall, upstanding side and end walls, and an open upper side, which elements are connected to one another by hinge joints arranged between the side edges of the bottom walls thereof to form a continuous row of elements having a first end and a second end and which elements are so shaped and dimensioned that this row of elements, from its extended position and starting from said first end and said second end, can be spirally rolled up into tow adjacently positioned blocks of prismatic form in which the open upper element sides are closed off by wall portions of other elements lying inwardly thereof in said blocks and engaging said open sides. Said blocks are interconnected through an intermediate portion of said row of elements.

Abstract: A storage/display box for elongated objects has a generally parallepipedal and hollow base having a pair of parallel and spaced side walls and a normally horizontal floor extending between the pair of side walls, a cover pivotal on the base between a closed position closely engaged over the base and closing same and an open position standing upward therefrom, and a holder fittable in the box, adapted to hold at least one of the objects, and having a pair of side walls juxtaposed with the respective side walls of the base. A pivot pin is seated in one of the pairs of side walls for pivoting of the holder between a down end position wholly received in the base and an up end position projecting upward therefrom and through an intermediate position between the down and up positions. A guide formed in the other pair of side walls extends transversely of the floor and receives the pin for movement of the pin relative to the one pair of side walls limitedly transversely relative to the floor.

Abstract: A portable closable container has individually closable cells under a main lid. The container has a base with which the main lid defines an internal space. The internal space is partially filled by a plurality of side-by-side, top-to-bottom individual cells. Each of the cells is fitted with a removable cover which is hingedly mounted to the cell. The removable cover of the cell includes a tab for manipulation by the user's finger. A space is provided for a label on the cover of the cell. The components of the container are preferably composed of a polymerized material, such as polypropylene. There are two slots on the main lid which match the two feet on the base. These slots and the feet allow one container of the same kind to be stacked on the top of another without one shifting with respect to the other away from each other.

Abstract: A portable knife containment box is provided including a housing and a lid hingably coupled to the housing with a handle mounted. A plurality of knife containers are situated within the box to releasably receive knives. A pastry bag support is collapsibly coupled to the lid of the box.

Abstract: A plumber's caddy is disclosed which provides a holder for plumbing tools, fittings and supplies. An arm permits the caddy to be secured to a member such as a ceiling joist. The arm is jointed in one or more places such that the holder can move relative to the fastener. A swivel joint is disclosed which permits rotation and tilting of the holder relative to the fastener. Hangers are provided for hanging tools from the holder.

Abstract: A screwdriver holder or carrier includes two series of parallel troughs arrayed sequentially and in alternating rows with a handle support wall separating the troughs. The blades fit through a double molded wall construction with a foam insert held therein. The foam insert, in at least in part, frictionally engages the screwdriver blades to hold them in the carrier. The assembly further includes a blade guard at one end and a handle at its opposite end.

Abstract: A ladder including storage areas for allowing access to an area out of reach of a user. A tool box is removably connected at a top end of the ladder so as to be easily accesible to a user of the ladder. The ladder includes a first pair of legs and a second pair of legs extending at an adjustable angle to the first pair of legs. A plurality of steps extend between the legs of the first pair of legs and a storage compartments is positioned below each of the plurality of steps. The storage compartments are each movable between a first position completely contained beneath its respective step and a second position extending out from its respective step providing access to a storage area. Adjustable feet positioned on a base side of each leg of the ladder. The adjustable feet are both angularly adjustable and height adjustable to adapt the ladder to the terrain on which it is to sit. A pressure sensitive alarm is positioned to generate an audible alarm when a user applies pressure to the bottom step.

Body (3) has a bottom mounting surface (4) with a longitudinal extension, a support element (5) parallel thereto, and a mounting surface that is vertical to these members and that holds them spaced apart from one another. The support element has boreholes (6) aligned in a line. A longitudinal wall (8) between mounting surface (4) and support element (5) is provided with projections (9) that extend into the free space between mounting surface (4) and support element (5). Projections (9) narrow the originally designed diameters of the boreholes in the free space, so that as a result of these projections, a clamping effect is exerted on articles (1) mounted standing upright on mounting surface (4).

Abstract: A tool box includes a base portion having a bottom 10 and four peripheral walls extending from a periphery of the bottom, two flanges extending from two opposite sides of the bottom and each of the flanges 13 having a plurality of notches. A first part and a second part are pivotally connected with each other at respective first ends thereof. The first part and the second part each have a plurality of recesses defined therein. The first part has two stubs extending from two sides of a second end thereof so as to be received in two opposite notches.

Abstract: A drill bit and sharpener package includes a case having two leaves pivotally mounted together along one edge by ring-shaped knuckles; a tube mounted within the compass of the knuckles and serving as a pintle about which said knuckles rotate, and a drill bit sharpener removably and replaceably mounted in the tube.

Abstract: A carrying case with removable and replaceable interior panels is disclosed in which structure is provided in the case for releasably retaining such interior panels in fixed position within the case.

Abstract: A toolbox, designed to be used as part of a set of similar toolboxes, which has a tongue and groove along the top edge of both sides and a mirror image tongue and groove along the bottom edge of both sides. Two toolboxes made according to the invention can be coupled together by slidably joining the upper tongue and groove of one with the lower tongue and groove of the second. The two toolboxes are thereby stacked and can be handled as a single unit. Additional toolboxes can be added to the stack in any order the user desires. A cover is also provided which mates with the upper tongue and groove and also provides a centrally mounted top handle. A rack mount is provided which mates with the lower tongue and groove to provide a stationary mounting for one or more toolboxes either in a workshop or a vehicle.

Abstract: A blade-holding case for a hack sawing machine comprises a support (13) provided with housings (17) each intended for receiving one end of a blade (18) for supporting it in the case. Each housing (17) has an opening (19) for enabling introduction thereinto of one end of a blade inclined in a first direction (20) towards the fore portion of the housing and enabling rotation of the blade to a supporting position in a second direction (21) angularly spaced apart from the first one towards the rear portion of the housing, so as to insert the blade between lateral-fitting means (22) of the blade when the latter is in the supporting position. The blades can be advantageously inserted in the housings by their toothed fore end.

Abstract: A tool container insert for a bucket is provided which is removably situated within the bucket and further includes a handle for facilitating the removal thereof. The tool container insert further includes a pair of upstanding plates connecting a top plate and a bottom plate of the tool container insert. The upstanding plates has a generally V-shaped vertical cross-section and converge from top to bottom. The top plate and the bottom plate have a periphery of a similar shape and size substantially equal to a bottom of the bucket.

Abstract: The case has a molded plastic card member, and a lid specifically configured to mate with the card member to define an enclosed area. The lid is connected to the card member by a hinge adjacent one edge thereof so as to be foldable between an open position away from the card member, and a closed position against the card member to define the enclosed area. The card member and the lid preferably each have tabs extending from side edges opposite the hinge, each tab having a hole generally alignable with a corresponding hole in the other tab, for the installing of a closure such as a thick plastic loop not generally severable without a tool. The card member and lid define between them a number of openings through the enclosed area particularly sized for portions of tool components and/or extra tool components to extend therethrough generally parallel to the card member, for visibility and preferably manipulation, without it being possible to remove them as long as the case is closed.

Abstract: An organizer device for hair care appliances including a housing and a plurality of receptacles therein which are adapted to receive hair dryers, hair curlers, and other hair care appliances. The receptacles are exposed from one or more surfaces of the housing and they are formed of an insulative material which allows them to decrease the initial heat-up time for curling irons by minimizing the effects of convection and conduction. The housing is provided with a number of electrical outlets and a main power switch, all of which are disposed on the front of the housing in an accessible position. A main electrical cord connects the electrical receptacles on the housing to a wall socket. Accordingly, it is a principal object of the invention to provide a appliance organizer that combines a plurality of terminal receptacles with a main power switch, a plurality of cylindrical tubes adapted for receiving a hair dryer and a plurality of curling irons, and a main power cord.

Abstract: A tool box assembly includes a case, a hollow cover pivotally mounted on the case, a rectangular frame extending inward from an inner periphery of the hollow cover and having two opposite longer sides each transversely containing an elongated guiding groove, and a rectangular swivel tool rack pivotally mounted in the rectangular frame and having two opposite longer sides each formed with a pivot stub slidably received in the guiding groove of one of the two opposite longer sides of the hollow cover.

Abstract: Storage organizers assembly having a plurality of dividers which divide a bottom enclosure into separate storage sections. At least some of the dividers are independently insertable and removable to create storage sections of various sizes and configurations. The top and bottom surfaces of the storage organizers include a plurality of curved surfaces to make the storage organizers more visually appealing and adding strength and reducing warpage of these surfaces. Storage organizers in accordance with the present invention also includes a latching arrangement which is easy to use and securely closes the storage organizers.
