Abstract: This invention relates to a novel design of ergonomic tool box. More particularly, this invention relates to a novel construction of ergonomic tool box which has upper and lower handles for ease of carrying, and an indented side which enables the ergonomic tool box to be carried closer to the vertical center of gravity of the carrier, thereby reducing strain on the carrier. An ergonomic tool box comprising: (a) an elongated hollow base with one of the sides of the base being indented inwardly towards the interior of the hollow base; (b) a handle disposed upwardly from the hollow base; and (c) at least one support for the handle extending upwardly between the base and the handle.

Abstract: An improvement of a tool bag is disclosed. The tool bag comprises a main tool pocket, a secondary tool pocket, a folded pad and an adjustable back pocket. The two pockets are mounted in front of the tool bag and are provided with zippers to enclose the tools within the tool bag. The folded pad can be extended to provide a support to the user when the user's back is lying against the floor.

Abstract: A tool try-on device includes a body and a frictional retaining member mounted to the body. The frictional retaining member and the body together define a compartment for receiving a rotatable member rotatably mounted to an end of a handle of a tool. The frictional retaining member exerts a frictional force to an outer surface of the rotatable member of the tool for retaining the rotatable member in place unless a rotational force greater than the frictional force is applied to the handle of the tool in a ratcheting direction.

Abstract: A tool organizer includes a housing and one or more tool holders each having a middle axle rotatably engaged with the upper and the bottom plates, to stably and rotatably secure the tool holders between the upper and the bottom plates. Each of the tool holders includes a number of recesses to receive tool elements. A number of posts are secured between the upper and the bottom plates, and each includes two ends engaged into the lock channels of the upper and the bottom plates. A container may be received in the housing to retain tool elements. The housing may be rotatably secured on a base with a shaft and ball bearings.

Abstract: A portable tool case is disclosed that may be displayed in numerous orientations using a cover member of the tool case as a support. The cover member that may be rotated into a support position to support the tool case on a surface. The cover member may comprise a pair of covers that are manipulated into an easel, display or table orientation.

Abstract: A rugged braced bag for securing hand tools and other equipment to a ladder, scaffold, or mechanical lift within easy reach of a worker. The bag has wide flexible support band with a rigid distal clip configured for engagement with a slot in one of its upstanding walls. Alternatively, the bag can be secured by the support band and clip engaging a ladder top, or the band encircling a ladder rung or horizontally-extending bar with the clip inserted into the slot. The bag has a shoulder strap and release handle used for raising the bag and ready release of the clip from its engaged position. Optionally, the bag can have compartments, pockets, and/or a removable liner. Applications can include, but are not limited to, use by carpenters, painters, electricians, plumbers, homeowners, and anyone needing to use tools and equipment while on a ladder, scaffold, lift, or other raised support structure.

Abstract: A tool bag with multiple combinations is disclosed. The tool bag includes a plurality of tool pockets which can be replaced with each other and are mounted onto a waist strap. A plurality of gaps are formed on the back side of all the tool pockets such that a belt can pass through the gaps, allowing the tool bag structure to be mounted onto a user. The user can easily access to the tools.

Abstract: A tool box is for holding a plurality of tools and tool parts. The tool box includes a base, a lid and at least one tray. The base has at least one row. The lid is attached to the base. Each tray has at least one receiving device adapted to receive one of a predetermined tool and tool part. Each tray is releaseably attachable in a row and includes a magnetic method of holding the tray in the row. The tool box may include a plurality of rows. The magnetic holding method may include a metal strip attached to the bottom of each row and a plurality of magnets attached to the bottom of each tray.

Abstract: A tool box includes a left cover and a right cover which are pivotably connected on the left sidewall and the right sidewall respectively. The left cover, the right cover, the left sidewall and the right sidewall each have grooves defined in an inside thereof so that a first layer and a second layer connected by two rods are movably received between the left cover, the right cover, the left sidewall and the right sidewall by engaging protrusions on the first layer and the second layer in the grooves. The grooves each have two recesses defined in an inside thereof so that the protrusions can be shifted into the recesses to set the first layer and the second layer in position. Casters are connected to an under side of the tool box and allow the tool box to be moved in a convenient way.

Abstract: A vehicle lift rack is provided as a mounted tool organizer for use with a conventional vehicle lift rack of a type having rack arms. A pair of support hooks, for grasping the rack arm in a manner that allows a containment volume to be supported through gravity impingement, without the necessity for permanent fasteners. The main containment volume is formed in a boxlike fashion and includes a hinged, lockable lid.

Abstract: A two-piece caddy and vacuum cleaner accessory assembly is provided. The caddy includes first and second body sections that are connected together without the use of a separate independent fastener. The first body section includes first, second and third accessory receptacles. The second body section includes first, second and third accessory engaging clips. The receptacles and clips function to hold various vacuum cleaner tools and accessories such as an extension hose, a wand, a crevice cleaning tool and a nozzle brush.

Abstract: A caddy for supporting and transporting cleaning and/or garden supplies or the like on the rim of a waste container. The caddy comprises a tray made of plastic or similar rigid material that attaches and extends laterally from the outer rim of a waste container. Formed on opposite sides of the tray is a concaved lip and a straight lip. Formed on the tray is a large, centrally aligned and downward extending cavity with concave and straight side walls that extend parallel to the concave and straight side walls on the tray. Slots are created between the lip and side walls of the cavity that are sufficiently wide to receive the curved or straight upper edges of a waste container. Formed around the cavity is a plurality of smaller holes or openings designed to hold such items as a cellular phone, a soda can, pliers, shears, small shovel, etc.

Abstract: A storage and carrying case includes semi-rigid spaced end panels and a semi-rigid bottom panel all joined together by means of a fabric over layer and a fabric under layer which are stitched together by a binding which also connects to front and back panels to form an enclosure for tools or the like. A single binding may thus be utilized to join all of the flexible fabric materials which retain the semi-rigid or rigid panels forming the enclosure.

Abstract: A tent-and-storing box assembly includes a flysheet and a skeleton frame. The skeleton frame includes a plurality of joints, a plurality of rafters, a plurality of beams and a plurality of posts. Each of the posts is hollow so as to receive a respective one of the rafters and beams therein. An inner box is snugly fitted in an outer box to receive the flysheet and the joints therein. The inner box has a peripheral wall contacting a peripheral wall of the outer box, and a top cover spaced apart from and cooperating with a top cover of the outer box to define a top storing space therebetween. The rafters, the beams and the posts are piled on the top cover of the inner box within the top storing space.

Abstract: A tool bag with multiple combinations is disclosed. The tool bag comprises a plurality of tool pockets which can be replaced with each other and are mounted onto a waist strap. A plurality of gaps are formed on the back side of all the tool pockets such that a belt can pass through the gaps, allowing the tool bag structure to be mounted onto a user. The user can easily access to the tools.

Abstract: A toolbox is provided for receiving tool bits each with an annular groove. The toolbox includes a box and a holder for pivotal installment in the box. The holder includes holes defined therein and hooks each located in one of the holes. Each of the holes is for receiving one of the tool bits. Each of the hooks includes an enlarged end for insertion in the annular groove of one of tool bits.

Abstract: A toolbox for displaying and storage tool heads consists of a box (10), a lid (20) pivotally connected the box (10), multiple storage racks (30) rotatably mounted inside the box (10) and a gang bar (40) engaging the storage racks (30). The multiple storage racks (30) are tilted by the gang bar (40) in unison to allow tool heads out to be removed from the toolbox conveniently. Additionally, the lid (20) can be pivoted to a back position of the box (10) to serve as a stand so the toolbox can display the tool heads.

Abstract: A tool storage container has a base member with a tool receiving member. A cover is coupled with the base. An opening is in the cover. The opening may have a configuration corresponding to the tool maintained within the carrying case or any other configuration which enables viewing and prohibits removal of the tool when the container is in a closed position. A plurality of storage areas are within the inside of the cover. Also, fingers secure the tool in the carrying case so that in an open condition, the tool is maintained in the carrier.

Abstract: A tool box includes a base and two sets of boxes are located symmetrically above the base and each set of boxes is pivotably connected to the base by a set of links. Each set of links includes a long link and two short links which are located on two sides of the long link. The long link is pivotably connected the base and the two boxes at three pivot points. One of the short links is pivotably connected between the base and the box rested on the base, and the other short link is pivotably connected between the two boxes. The two sets of boxes can be expanded outward relative to the base when either one of which is pulled outward.

Abstract: A tool case for the storage of drill bits and similarly shaped tools includes two housing members that are hingedly attached and which open and close, with respect to one another. The tool case of the present invention includes elastomeric material surrounding the periphery of the tool case and tool trays on the inside of the case that retain inverted drill bits and similarly shaped tools. The tool trays disposed within the two housing members are removably attached to inner recessed cavities in the housing member by snapping male protrusions located on the tray into corresponding female recesses located on the inner surface of the recessed cavities.

Abstract: A tool holder for mounting on the top of a conventional stepladder. The holder has trapezoidal pocketed end panels and a rectangular pocketed back panel each flexibly connected to a top panel that can be strapped to the top piece of the ladder. The end and back panels conform closely to the outlines of corresponding sides of the ladder at its upper end and are attachable to each other at adjoining side edges to fit snugly around the ladder. A pocketed front panel is manually attachable to and detachable from the top panel.

Abstract: A toolbox having modular components for additional storage and functionality includes modular attachments that are adapted to removably fit various attachments, such as a cooler, cup holder, saw blades holder, drill bit holders, and the like. In addition, the toolbox includes a three-quarter length tray that allows the craftsman to overstuff the inside of the toolbox and additional storage compartments in the lid of the toolbox.

Abstract: A tool container has a pair of housing members pivotally coupled with one another to provide an opened and closed position. At least one of the members defines a cavity to receive tools. The cavity is defined by a base and a wall extending from the base. A tool retaining insert is permanently secured in the cavity. The insert and wall include tenons and grooves to secure the insert in the housing member. Also, an arcuate locking mechanism is included to maintain the pair of housing members in a closed position.

Abstract: A tool suspension device has a back plate and at least one tool bracket. The back plate has a body and at least one tool mounting space formed in the body. Two mounting brackets with mounting slots are respectively formed at opposite sides of each respective tool mounting space. A hole is defined in the body and corresponds to each respective mounting bracket. A resilient arm with a foot is formed on the top end of each respective hole. Each tool bracket is mounted on the back plate and corresponds to one of the tool mounting spaces. The tool bracket has a main plate and two ears corresponding to the mounting slots in the mounting brackets. Accordingly, the tool bracket will not slide out of the bottom of the mounting slots due to the blocking effect provided by the feet.

Abstract: A general purpose mechanics toolbox that is able to withstand external environmental conditions and abuse is disclosed. Typically, the toolbox includes a main body having a front and top cover. Tubular gaskets run between the top and front covers and the body, thereby providing a watertight seal. The body is typically constructed of a high durability plastic. The toolbox can be closed and latched with a latch mechanism that can optionally be locked.

Abstract: A tool support attachment for a ladder for supporting carpentry and building tools upon a ladder. The tool support attachment for a ladder includes two panels having first and second side edges and also having a plurality of elongate tool-mounting slots being disposed through the second side edges and being extended in the panel for supporting carpentry and building tools; and also includes clip members being pivotally attached to front edges of the panels for removably and securely attaching the panels to the ladder; and further includes tool retainer members being attached to the panels to prevent the carpentry and building tools from slipping out of the panels.

A plurality of lugs (L) on the side walls of inner compartments (18, 20) in the carrying case parts (12, 14) cooperate with a light number of sockets (S) in wall portions of the tool trays (46, 48, 50, 52). The tool trays are snap-fitted downwardly into the inner compartments (18, 20). As the tool trays (46, 48, 50, 52) move downwardly, the lugs (L) move into the sockets (S). When the trays (46, 48, 50, 52) are within the compartments (18, 20) the upper end portions (44) of the lugs (L) will be above end wall portions (66) of the sockets (S). They will be positioned to block unwanted movement of the holders (46, 48, 50, 52) out from the inner compartments (18, 20). However, the trays (46, 48, 50, 52) can be easily pulled out from the compartments (18, 20). The lugs (L) and sockets (S) act as detents for removably securing the trays (46, 48, 50, 52) within the inner compartments (18, 20).

Abstract: A tool bag having a bag body defining an interior area and a central panel coupled to the bag body bifurcating the interior area. Openings in the bag body provide access to the interior area. A tool deflector is coupled to the central panel. At least one tool pocket is coupled to and defined in part by the tool deflector. The tool deflector is made from a suitable material such as plastic to provide a hard surface to prevent the edges of tools from damaging the central panel when placed in or removed from the tool pockets. A handle is attached to the bag body for carrying the tool bag. The tool bag provides for safe, orderly and convenient storage and transport of tools.

Abstract: A tool case adapted to store tools comprises a main body and at least one cover member adapted to store tools. The cover member is coupled to the main body such that when the cover is closed, a portion of the cover member at least partially covers a storage side of the cover member. The cover member, while in an open or a closed position, may be positioned such that it covers differing amounts of the storage side of the main body. The cover member may also be detached from the main body.

Abstract: An accessory holder for releasably storing tool implements on a portable hand power tool. The holder includes a base strip of durable flexible material. An attachment member is carried by the base strip for releasably attaching the base strip to the tool. An elastic band is carried by the base strip to form a plurality of constricting sleeves for releasably engaging tool implements. A bit tube is disposed in at least one of the constricting sleeves for receiving tool implements. A restraining magnet is included in the bit tube for magnetically engaging tool implements and accessories in the tube. A utility magnet is carried by the elastic band for magnetically engaging tool implements for temporary storage. Accordingly, an accessory holder is provided for releasably storing tool implements on a portable power tool for quick and convenient access.

Abstract: A crafter's purse is adapted for the storage, display, accessing, and carrying of crafter's tools. The crafter's purse has a generally rectangular bottom panel and an upright peripheral panel extending about the periphery of the bottom panel for forming a container having an open end. At least one exterior panel is attached to the exterior surface of the peripheral panel to form a plurality of exterior pockets for containing and displaying additional items. The crafter's purse has a pair of handles for carrying the crafter's purse and an elastic band which encircles the peripheral wall at a position above the pocket openings to secure the items contained in the pockets. At least one additional pocket may be attached to the interior surface of the peripheral wall for forming an internal pocket.

Abstract: A supplementary accessory case for tool chest mainly includes two separated boxes and two parallel connecting members separately extended between two longitudinal sides of the two boxes with an opening defined among them. Each of the two boxes is provided at a transverse outer edge with a projected ear, to which a curved catch hook is rotatably connected. When the supplementary accessory case is positioned on a top of the tool chest, the opening defined by the boxes and the connecting members allows a handle of the tool chest to expose therefrom for holding, and the catch hooks can be turned downward about the projected ears to engage with retaining blocks correspondingly provided on the tool chest and thereby detachably lock the supplementary accessory case to the top of the tool chest. Extra tools and accessories may be directly accessed without the need of opening the tool chest.

Abstract: A display case, carry case and storage stand for a plurality of elongated tools, such as screwdrivers, which comprises a pair of units which are pivotally connected together. Each unit has an exterior arcuate surface on which is to be mounted a plurality of the elongated tools in a spaced apart arrangement. The units are to be pivotable from an aligned position to a side-by-side position, and when in the side-by-side position the display case becomes a storage stand. When the display case is in the aligned position, it can function as a carry case.

Abstract: A tool box includes a plurality of hooks and a plurality of clamping members extending from a surface of the tool box. The hooks and the clamping members are located in alignment with each other so that shanks of the tool is clamped by the clamping members and the function end is engaged with the hooks. A test device is connected to the surface of the tool box and includes an inclined support member on which an engaging piece is connected for function end of the wrench to engage with. A restriction frame is on the test device and restrain the range of the shank of the tool to swing.

Abstract: A tool box assembly includes first and second shell members. The first shell member includes a first shell body, a foldable joining member, and a grip member which includes proximate and distal jaw portions. The second shell member includes a second shell body and a gripped member. The gripped member includes an anchored body and first and second anchored portions. The anchored body forms first and second shoulder portions with the first and second anchored portions, respectively. To interconnect the two shell bodies, the proximate jaw portion is brought to engage the first shoulder portion, and the distal jaw portion is then pressed to slip over the second anchored portion and engage the second shoulder portion, thereby permitting opening and closing of the first and second shell bodies relative to each other by virtue of the foldable joining member.

The torque element is received in the first cylinder and the first cylinder is received in the second cylinder. The second cylinder includes a closed end and a clip formed on an internal side of the closed end for clamping an end of the torque element.

Abstract: A portable storage assembly includes a central support structure and a container assembly comprising a storage container and a cover member. The container assembly is movable between access and storage positions with respect to the central support structure. When the container assembly is in its access position, the storage container is in its access position and the cover member is movable into its open position and when the cover member is in its closed position, the container assembly can be moved into its storage position in which the storage container is in its storage position with respect to the central support structure. The central support structure holds the cover member closed when the container assembly is in its storage position. A locking assembly releasably locks the container assembly in its storage position. A handle is connected to the central support structure for carrying assembly.

Abstract: A combination tool case is constructed to include a front frame unit, a back frame unit, a front frame and back frame fastening structure, a storage box supported on the front frame unit and the back frame unit at a top side, a plurality of drawers mountable in space surrounded by the front frame unit, the back frame unit, and the storage box, and a drawer positioning structure adapted for locking the drawers.

Abstract: A tool box drill bit retainer that provides for the containment of different diameter drill bits inside the tool box, the primary application of which is keeping larger size drill bits within the drill bit recess of the tool box. The improved structure of the drill bit retainer effectively enhances the orderly securing of drill bits in the tool box and increases product practicality.

Abstract: A tool case with an additional storage space, which is accessed from the inside of the tool case. The storage space may be fitted with various pre-assembled snap-in storage modules to provide the user with the flexibility of storing a wide variety of items in a wide variety of ways, depending on the user's needs. For example, the compartment may be fitted with a snap-in module comprising a series of rotating storage containers according to the preferred embodiment of the invention. Alternatively, the snap-in modules can comprise a series of sliding drawers, or a single rotating storage container, or any other tool or component holder. In the invention, a rectangular opening is defined within the inner surface of the box portion of the tool case. Interior walls project upwardly from the edge of the opening to preferably define a storage space which accommodates a snap-in module.

Abstract: A combination for use with a vehicle jack constructed and arranged to affect raising and lowering movements of the vehicle. The combination comprises an elongated rigid jack operating tool and a longitudinal entry tool retainer. The tool retainer is fixedly mounted to the vehicle. The tool retainer has a tool receiving space and a resiliently movable tool engaging structure providing a tool engaging surface. The tool and the tool retainer enable the tool to be mounted to the tool retainer by moving the tool in the longitudinal direction into the tool receiving space. The tool contacts the tool engaging structure and urges the tool engaging structure against the resiliency thereof to accommodate ingress of the tool into the tool receiving space. The tool engaging structure thereafter forcibly engages the tool engaging surface against an exterior surface of the tool to frictionally inhibit movement of the tool in the longitudinal direction thereof.

Abstract: A tool case has multiple side plates, a bottom plate, an upper cover and multiple side covers. The side plates are connected with each other to define a containing space for storing large tools. Multiple recesses are defined in the outer side of each respective side plate for receiving tools. Each side cover is pivotally connected to one of the side plates and has an inner side with multiple recesses to receive tools. Accordingly, the space for storing tools in the tool case is large and many, and the use of the tool case is versatile.

Abstract: A tool box includes a base and a top board with two sidwalls and a back board connected between the top board and the base. A plurality of drawers are slidably supported on rails extending from two respective insides of the tow sidewalls. A pad is connected to a top of the top board so that the tool box is used as a bench. Two sets of wheels are connected to a bottom of the base and a cup holder is connected to the back board.

Abstract: An article holder comprising a rigid base and a thick layer of slightly resilient, set material on the base. The layer has impressions extending inwardly from the top surface of the layer toward the base, each impression formed, before the material sets, by the article to be stored in the impression.

Abstract: A ladder sack adapted for placement between the legs of a folding step ladder to provide an open platform on which to place tools or working materials while working atop the ladder, and a closed secured pouch to carry tools and working materials when the ladder is closed. The sack is formed from a rectangular section of fabric having hook and loop fasteners positioned along the sides of the sack that may be approximated to form a secured enclosure when the sack is folded end to end when the ladder is closed. When the ladder is reopened to its standing position the sack unfolds to provide easy access to the tools and working materials contained therein. The ladder sack includes straps and buckles at its ends for attachment to ladder rungs of varying sizes.

Abstract: An improved structure of toolbox aims at the shortcomings of the traditional toolbox structure that can only be placed horizontally but not vertically. By means of the bottom of bottom box structure having a blocking slope with an appropriate angle and a central extended coupling structure, the present invention works together with the bottom of a covering tray structure being disposed at a coupling opening and a blocking surface. Since the blocking slope presses against the blocking surface and gives an inclined angle for the arrangement of placing the toolbox vertically, the user is able to find and store tools in a quick manner.

Abstract: The invention relates to a container and methods for sterilizing medical instruments with various embodiments including use of an instrument tray and a thermostatically controlled valve. In particular, this invention relates to a sterilization container useful for sterilization with various sterilization techniques including gas, gas plasma and steam. The sterilization container of the present invention permits steam or gas sterilant penetration and prevents microorganisms and dust from entering. The materials used may be made of a suitable metal, including an aluminum alloy, that may be heat treated and/or anodized or coated with a suitable material.
