  • Patent number: 11673159
Abstract: A dispensing system includes a container containing a flowable base formulation to be dispensed, an additive mixing device, and an actuable pump engine which draws the flowable base formulation from the container and pumps it through the mixing device. The additive mixing device includes a body with an internal cavity, an additive ingredient within the cavity, and a flow path/mixing chamber between an input and an output. With each pump of the device the additive ingredient is introduced into, and mixed with, a flow of the base formulation traveling through the mixing device. Multiple additive mixing devices may be interchangeable for different formulations, and the mixing devices may be refillable.

In a use position, the liquid outlet opening is arranged below the liquid reservoir such that the liquid flows on account of the weight thereof in the direction of the liquid outlet opening, and the liquid outlet passage in the use position does not simultaneously permit air to enter the liquid reservoir and liquid to exit into the surrounding atmosphere. In order to reduce the internal volume of the dispenser and therefore to effect a discharge of liquid, a slide is pushed manually in an actuating direction from a stroke starting position into a stroke end position.

Abstract: An airless pump and a cosmetic container including the same. The airless pump includes a nozzle of a head and a compression cylinder disposed between the storage container and the nozzle. A sealing cap fixes the compression cylinder. A piston valve and a piston are fastened into an inner compression chamber inside the compression cylinder. An operation pipe is disposed above the sealing cap in a direction perpendicular to the direction in which an operation button is pushed. The operation pipe is actuated and drives the piston and piston valve in the perpendicular direction. A spring is disposed between the operation pipe and the sealing cap. A slider axially is axially coupled to the operation pipe in the perpendicular direction. The slider is actuated by the operation button to horizontally reciprocate in a direction, thereby driving the operation pipe in the perpendicular direction.

Abstract: The present invention relates a cosmetic case including an airless pump. The present invention is an improved invention over patent no. 963155 filed by this inventor and issued earlier. According to the present invention, the cosmetic case consists of three storage case bodies to more safely and hygienically store the contents of the case for a long period of time. Also, since a pump is operated in a reciprocating manner so as to pump the contents, pumping efficiency for the contents may be improved. Also, various cosmetics may be stored at the same time to enable a user to easily use the case and refill same with cosmetics.

Abstract: A pump dispenser in which the associated container interior reduces its volume progressively as product is dispensed to avoid air contact with the product. An air trap member having a downwardly-convex dish form is provided below a floor of the associated dispenser module around an inlet to guide any such air away from the inlet. A peripheral portion forms a retaining lip for flexible wiping contact with the container wall interior, allowing air passage on assembly of the dispenser. A central tubular formation of the trap member separates the trapped air from the inlet and can be used to plug the trap member into the inlet.

The chamber is configured to store a liquid. The grease gun also includes an outlet in fluid communication with the chamber and a measurement system operable to measure an amount of liquid being dispensed through the outlet. The measurement system monitors a change in current of the motor over a cycle of the pump assembly, compares the change in current to a predetermined value, and, if the change in current is greater than the predetermined value, increases a pump cycle counter to indicate that liquid was dispensed.

Abstract: An oil flow control structure for grease gun has a hollow main body. An inflow end and an outflow end are respectively disposed at two sides of the main body. A high pressure passage and a low pressure passage, in which its inner diameter is larger than the high pressure passage, are disposed between the inflow end and the outflow end. A first pumping rod and a second pumping rod are respectively disposed in the two passages. The first pumping rod is pivoted to a pressing stem. The second pumping rod is pivoted to the pressing stem through a switching mechanism. The switching mechanism can regulate a pivot position of the second pumping rod relative to the pressing stem so that an initial position of the second pumping rod performing piston motion in the low pressure passage can be changed to seal or open the second inflow port.

Abstract: A pump dispenser is intended for oral administration of medicines. A pump receives fluid product through a valved inlet from a container, preferably of the airless type with a follower piston. The dispenser may be a movable-nozzle or fixed-nozzle dispenser. The discharge outlet of the dispenser has a stub nozzle incorporating a closure valve. A spring urges the closure valve forward to close a discharge opening of the stub nozzle. The nozzle attachment is shaped for oral dosing and has an internal rearwardly-projecting actuating structure which, when the nozzle attachment is coupled onto the stub nozzle, pushes the closure valve open. When the nozzle attachment is removed the spring closes the outlet again. Child-resistant features are described for fitting the nozzle attachment to the stub nozzle.

Abstract: Pump dispenser, particularly a movable-nozzle pump dispenser, is intended especially for use in dispensing oral medicines e.g. to children. One feature disclosed is a tooth or ratchet structure engageable between the plunger head and the pump cylinder body. This enables optional holding of the plunger at an intermediate position during a dispensing stroke, so that a dose can be given bit by bit. Other proposals are formations around the top of the cylinder body which interact with the inside of the plunger to control or limit movement of the plunger according to their relative rotational orientation. For example the plunger may be locked up unless turned forcibly past a rotational stop. A related feature is a spring lock tab preventing rotation of the plunger unless the tab is pressed to release it. The product container may contain balls to cause agitation.
