Abstract: An apparatus (110) for dispensing condiments, and the like, has a gun (10) arrangeable for dispensing a measured amount of a condiment preloaded into the gun upon release of a trigger (60) of the gun following a previous dispensing action. Provision is made for keeping the condiment refrigerated throughout the system, which can be periodically cleaned in a simple and efficient manner that results in virtually no waste of the condiment or other substance being dispensed.

Abstract: A dispenser for pasty substances and/or liquids has two coaxially arranged metering pistons 11,24 which supply charges of material from two coaxially arranged pump chambers 14,23 through ejection channels 19,26 into an ejection chamber 20. The material can emerge from ejection chamber 20 through an outlet 4. This outlet 4 is controlled by means of plug 21 biassed in closing direction. When the metering pistons 11,24 are on their suction strokes material passes from the supply tanks 17,27 which are likewise arranged coaxially one inside the other. Such a configuration yields a dispenser which consists in essence of two separate dispensers, one inside the other. The two streams of material combine directly ahead of the outlet 4.
Abstract: A dispenser for cream, sauces, jelly, pastes, syrups or the like which has a main cylinder and a guide cylinder coaxially arranged within it. The annular space between the cylinders is divided into an intake space and a feed space by a displacement piston which allows for drawing the material to be dispensed from a container through an intake passage in the main cylinder and discharging the material through an outlet opening in the forward end of the main cylinder. A closure element is normally biased against the outlet opening and a plunger is provided at the rear end of the main cylinder, bearing against the piston and normally biased in the outward position.
Abstract: Disclosed is a grease gun comprising a tubular casing having a grease pump attachment at one end and a cover at the other end which fits internally against the casing rim. A draw rod extends into the casing through the cover and carries an internal pressure collar with a compression spring acting between the cover and the pressure collar. A small section opening is provided in the casing at the pump attachment end for the expulsion of air from the casing. The draw rod can be clamped in position with respect to the cover by a clamping device and the design of the cover is such that when the draw rod is clamped in position and then pushed inwardly of the casing, movement of the cover in the casing is facilitated.
Abstract: A dispensing device for discharging material under pressure, includes at least one accumulating chamber for receiving and accumulating material to be dispensed and operable to discharge the material under pressure over a sustained period of time for use as desired, and at least one expansible chamber operable to incrementally move material from a container into the accumulating chamber for storage of the material under pressure, whereby a prolonged, pressurized discharge of the material can be obtained.

Abstract: A head assembly for a fluid lubricant dispenser including a piston cavity having inlet and outlet ports disposed near the bottom of the cavity. The inlet and outlet ports are controlled by check valves that function oppositely and simultaneously to allow the flow of lubricant in one direction. The location of the inlet port and the use of a check valve in conjunction with the inlet port allows for effective operation of the lubricant dispenser with any appreciable movement of the piston via the operative lever mechanism.
Abstract: A grease gun plunger of elastic material formed to provide a central hub, a peripheral skirt, and a web joining the skirt to said hub, the web being unitary with said hub at a first end of the plunger and with the skirt at a second end of the plunger to comprise a generally conical partition across the plunger. The skirt has an outer surface which tapers inwardly in both axial directions from a location of maximum outside diameter near the second end of the plunger. The plunger has a peripheral groove around said second end, said groove having a radial dimension substantially equal to the radial thickness of said skirt.
Abstract: A grease gun of the type wherein a dispensing head assembly having a lever-operated piston pump is screwed onto the head end of a grease-containing cylinder and wherein a spring-biased plunger and rod assembly in said cylinder is operative to feed grease from the cylinder to the pump, said dispensing head assembly being characterized in that the head cap thereof has diametrically opposite holes through the side wall thereof in which a pump cylinder of circular cross section is firmly supported, in that a sheet metal clevis for a link of the pump-operating lever has its base secured as by welding on the end wall of the head cap, and in that a check valve body is secured in a cross bore adjacent the closed end of the pump cylinder and extends through aligned holes in the head cap end wall and the clevis base to provide a pump outlet to which the grease dispensing tube is connected, said check valve body having a shoulder engaging the clevis base to prevent breaking away of the clevis from the head cap end wall
Abstract: A grease gun characterized in that a dispensing head assembly having a lever-operated piston pump is screwed onto the head end of a grease-containing cylinder and in that a spring-biased plunger and rod assembly inserted into said cylinder from the head end thereof with a rear end cap engaging an inturned flange at the rear end of said cylinder is operative to feed grease from the cylinder to the pump.
