Abstract: A dispensing device adapted for operative attachment to flanged cartridges containing viscous material. The device features an elongated support tube having a laterally translatable rod assembly therein which translates through rotation of the rod assembly to disperse material from an attached cartridge. The elongated device allows for the vicious material to be deposited in hard to reach areas between and behind appliances. Activation by rotation of the rod assembly allows for extremely accurate placement of material from the cartridge. Rotational activation also allows the device to reach under very low sitting appliances. The support tube and rod assembly may be assembled in various lengths from individual components allowing the device to be changed from an elongated form to shorter components for shipping or storage. An optional light is provided to illuminate target for deposit of viscous material.

Abstract: The invention is related to the structure of an adhesive dispenser that is composed of an outer tube with a push rod and a handle. The apparatus uses a certain number of elastic elements to make relative displacement between push rod and outer tube, while it uses the locking end of the push rod and cotter groove to perform functions like locating, acceleration and stepwise movement, which makes easy operation for the users. Moreover, in the apparatus the outer tube can be equipped with an inner tube. So the spacing between inner tube and outer tube provides a mechanism that the sealant and adhesive filled in-between the inner and outer tube will flow out and mix under the motion of the push rod. This mechanism will not only facilitate sealing, adhesion and hardening prevention, but will also provide reusability.

Abstract: A confectionary dispenser of the present invention is for use in association with a confectionary. The dispenser includes a body, a movable trigger, a removable internal channel and a feeder mechanism. The trigger is movably attached to the body and has an at rest position and an end of stroke position. The removable internal channel is removably attached to the body. The removable internal channel has an exit opening and is adapted to receive the confectionary. The feeder mechanism is operably attached to the trigger for operably advancing the confectionary into the removable internal channel when the trigger is moved from the at rest position towards the end of stroke position. The confectionary dispenser may include a device for controlling the confectionary that is extruded from the channel at the exit opening. Preferably the confectionary dispenser includes a heater attached to the body which is adapted to heat the confectionary in the removable internal channel.

  • Patent number: 6450370
Abstract: A manually operated dispensing device for use with a double cartridge for dispensing two-component chemical systems includes a double thrust ram with two thrust ram parts each having a toothed surface on which teeth are provided. The width of the thrust ram parts may be equal, or alternatively, the one thrust ram part may be wider than the other. The dispensing device further includes a drive assembly for acting on the double thrust ram, which is actuated by a trigger lever. The drive assembly includes a drive member, which includes teeth for acting on the teeth of the double thrust ram. The toothed surface of the thrust ram parts are either provided with ribs arranged near the outer edges of the thrust ram parts or have no ribs at all. As a result, a maximum width of the teeth is obtained and a maximum force is transmitted.

  • Patent number: 6435373
Abstract: A caulking gun has a conventional tubular-shaped cartridge holder with a ratchet mechanism and ratchetable piston, and is used with a collapsible cartridge having a nozzle end, a hollow tubular body joined to the nozzle end having walls made of a semi-rigid deformable plastic material, and a rigid push in end sealed to the walls of the tubular body at the end opposite the nozzle end having a shape which pushes the tubular body walls ahead of it to a collapsed condition to squeeze sealant material out through the nozzle end when the push-in end is pushed by the piston of the caulking gun. In a preferred embodiment, the collapsible cartridge is used with a sleeve member which is inserted and retained in the cartridge holder of the caulking gun. The sleeve member has a removable retainer portion, a tubular holder body, and a displaceable portion which is pushed by the piston of the caulking gun.

Abstract: The invention relates to an apparatus for the atomized discharge of a liquid medium. The apparatus can be operated with one hand for the discharge of a liquid medium in partial strokes that are successively performed and not unintentionally interrupted. The apparatus has an operating trigger to engage the ram, which operates the piston that is displaceable in the spray cylinder, the operating path of the operating trigger being so limited between an operating starting position and end position that the resulting discharge stroke of the piston may vary for successive partial discharges of the stored medium.

  • Patent number: 6412667
Abstract: A glue dispensing gun includes a barrel, a center rod, an eccentric transmission member, and a trigger. The barrel is used to accommodate a glue container and is provided with a receiving slot in which the eccentric transmission member is located such that the eccentric transmission member is fastened to the trigger. The eccentric transmission member is formed of a guide block, a bearing and a push block. The guide block is actuated by the trigger to turn eccentrically so as to cause the push block to push a pushing piece of the center rod, thereby resulting in the forward movement of the center rod. The center rod is provided with a recovery spring and a retaining piece which is in contact with the bearing of the eccentric transmission member, thereby enabling the trigger to control the forward and the backward motions of the center rod.
