The schema may also include a query table, and a query index table or tree, or other data structure. The data table stores the current state of each record as defined by its associated data fields. The query table stores all queries mapped to the one or more clients that have subscribed to each query. The query index table, tree, or other data structure indexes the subscribed queries based on a data field common to or associated with the indexed queries.

Abstract: Certain aspects of a method and system for communicating location of a mobile device for hands-free payment may include a peer-to-peer ad-hoc network that comprises a plurality of mobile devices, a plurality of access points, and a plurality of point of sale (POS) devices. A first mobile device may determine its location coordinates and communicate them to a selected POS device via the peer to peer ad-hoc network. At least one of the plurality of mobile devices and/or the plurality of access points may be within a defined proximity of the selected POS device. In some instances, the first POS device may receive via one or more intermediate mobile devices in the peer-to-peer ad-hoc network, location coordinates and payment transaction information of a selected mobile device. At least one of the intermediate mobile devices may be within a defined proximity of the first POS device.

For each subsequence of the credit card number, a set of data may be used in order to uniquely identify the cardholder. The identification of the cardholder may be performed in a particular search space that is composed of all possible credit card numbers and includes the transaction data associated with the cardholder. In an exemplary embodiment, the computerized system is used to promote engagements between individual cardholders and merchants by effectuating marketing actions in combination with commercial transactions when products or subscriptions are purchased.

Abstract: A transaction card may monitor an amount of electric current induced in a first near-field communication (NFC) component of a transaction card. Electric current may be induced in the first NFC component when the first NFC component is within an electromagnetic field generated by a second NFC component of a transaction terminal. The transaction card may dynamically activate one or more output components associated with the transaction card based on the amount of electric current induced in the first NFC component. The one or more output components may indicate whether the transaction card can communicate with the transaction terminal. The transaction card may perform an action related to completing a transaction after determining that the amount of electric current induced in the NFC component satisfies a first threshold. The first threshold may indicate that the transaction card can communicate with the transaction terminal.

Abstract: Methods, systems, apparatuses, and computer program products are provided for controlling access to a database. A data processing application may receive, from a user, a request that includes a procedural language code block to access data elements stored in a distributed database. A procedural language code block analyzer may obtain an access control policy that indicates permissions to access the data elements. A control system may determine, based on the access control policy, that access to a restricted portion of the data elements is denied. A reconstruction system may generate a reconstructed code block that allows the user to access data elements that are not restricted, such as by modifying the request to remove the portion that seeks access to the restricted data elements. The reconstruction system may then provide the modified request to the distributed database to receive the data elements to which the user is permitted to access.

Abstract: A payment processing method comprises: receiving, by a transaction platform, a payment request, wherein the payment request indicates that a protocol payment is performed for a current payment using a third-party payment account; initiating, by the transaction platform, if the third-party payment account is determined as having a risk, a security verification request to a third-party payment service party, to trigger the third-party payment service party to execute a security verification for the current payment to generate a security verification result; obtaining, by the transaction platform, the security verification result from the third-party payment service party; and executing, by the transaction platform, a current payment process for the current payment according to the security verification result. The risk is reduced in the payment process by an identity verification of a third-party payment service to ensure payment security and improve payment experience.

Abstract: Systems and methods performed for generating authentication information for an image using optical computing are provided. When a user takes a photo of an object, an optical authentication system receives light reflected and/or emitted from the object. The system also receives a random key from an authentication server. The system converts the received light to plenoptic data and uploads it to the authentication server. In addition, the system generates an optical hash of the received light using the random key, converts the generated optical hash to a digital optical hash, and uploads the digital optical hash to the authentication server. When the authentication server receives the upload, it verifies whether the time of the upload is within a certain threshold time from the sending of the random key and whether the digital optical hash was generated from the same light as the plenoptic data.

Abstract: Digital records are clustered and assigned unique individual identity across a plurality of data sources. Each record contains one or more tagged common properties, which belongs to an underlying identifiable entity. A special parameterized metric distance is calculated for all pairs of records. With adjustment of the metric parameters, the records are clustered based on a predetermined distance threshold. Based on the clustered records, the underlying identity associated with the records can be resolved.

Abstract: Systems and methods for conducting money transfer transactions are provided herein. The systems and methods may include receiving and storing reference fingerprint data associated with a first device. The reference fingerprint data can include reference device usage data corresponding to operation of the first device. Current fingerprint data associated with the first device can also be received. Based on a number of previous transactions performed using the first device, a matching threshold can be retrieved. Using the matching threshold, the current fingerprint data may be verified, thereby enabling the first device to conduct a transaction.

Abstract: A gate system control device is a gate system control device configured to control a gate system having an exit gate, and includes a first sensor, a second sensor, and a controller. The first sensor senses that a passport of a person who is in the gate system is placed on a placement region. The second sensor senses that the person is moving. The controller controls the gate system. When the first sensor senses that the passport is placed on the placement region and the second sensor senses that the person is moving to the exit gate, the controller causes the gate system to execute processing for notifying the person.

Abstract: Techniques are disclosed utilizing cognitive computing to improve commercial communications from vendors to users. A user's financial account(s) and location may be monitored to determine when a user is within a threshold distance of a vendor. If the user is within the threshold distance the methods and systems disclosed may determine which targeted commercial communications to transmit to the user based upon a shopping profile for the user. The shopping profile may include a dataset indicative of the shopping habits of the user.

Abstract: An electronic device may attempt to provision an unprovisioned credential, such as a payment instrument, by providing a message with information specifying the unprovisioned credential to a first computer. This first computer may be associated with a first region in which: a first provisioned credential of a user is supported, the user has registered, and the user can conduct transactions based on the first provisioned credential. However, the unprovisioned credential may be supported in or otherwise associated with a second region. Consequently, the electronic device may receive, from the first computer, redirect information that specifies a second computer associated with the second region. In response, the electronic device can provide the message to the second computer. Further, the electronic device can communicate provisioning information for the unprovisioned credential with the second computer, so the credential can be provisioned.

Abstract: A method for optimizing transaction authorization conversion rates includes retrieving payment transaction parameters and authorization results for a plurality of past payment transactions, generating authorization success factors for each of a plurality of payment transaction parameters based on the retrieved payment transaction parameters and authorization results, receiving, at an acquirer processor, a payment transaction from a merchant, modifying one or more parameters of the payment transaction according to the generated authorization success factors, and submitting the modified payment transaction to a financial institution for processing.

The publicly shared machine can include a printing component, a scanning component, a non-contact user identification component, etc. The app creates a job from options selected from the menu. The job is transmitted from the app to the publicly shared machine. The publicly shared machine notifies the app of availability to perform the job. In turn, the app provides a notice on the user interface of the remote computerized device that the publicly shared machine is available to perform the job. These methods further identify the user present at the publicly shared machine using the non-contact user identification component, allowing the publicly shared machine to perform the job based on the non-contact user identification, without requiring additional user interaction with the publicly shared machine.

Abstract: A card holder carries out an initial top-up of a balance of a pre-paid payment card. The prepaid payment card is configured for use in an infrastructure in accordance with a payment specification requiring different behavior for normal transactions in the infrastructure versus that required for topping-up of the balance. Contemporaneously with the initial top-up, the card holder registers risk mitigation information in association with the pre-paid payment card. Subsequent to the initial top-up, an indicator is written to the pre-paid payment card during a transaction with the pre-paid payment card outside the infrastructure. The indicator identifies the pre-paid payment card as having the risk mitigation information associated therewith. During subsequent presentation of the pre-paid payment card to the infrastructure, the pre-paid payment card is treated as a token backed up by the risk mitigation information, based on presence of the indicator on the pre-paid payment card.

Abstract: Card processing mechanisms and methods whereby after a card has been processed on one surface thereof at a card processing station such as, but not limited to, a card printing mechanism, the card can be recirculated back upstream of the card processing station along a return card travel path that is separate from the primary card travel path through the card processing station where the card can then be reintroduced back into the primary card travel path and transported through the card processing station a second time. As the card is being returned along the return card travel path, the card can be flipped over so that when the card is transported back through the card processing station, the opposite surface of the card can be processed.

The identity code received as part of the beacon signal can be used by the receiving device to request access to information relating to the unique animal from a remote device. The fraud detection system not only flags individual transactions, but is also configured to dynamically track and update banned/watch lists associated with request artifacts and cards in order to catch and prevent individual actors as well as BOTs, at least by adjusting the thresholds used to evaluate risk scores and what is placed on the banned/watch lists based upon requests received as well as information from financial institutions, merchants, government agencies, and watchdog groups. The system is also configured to provide information to those groups.

Abstract: Technologies for managing payment authorization request messaging for payment transactions include a transaction management controller for receiving a transaction amount for a payment transaction from a business management engine and payment card data for the payment transaction from a point of interaction device. Abstract: A method is proposed for a payer, to make a payment to a payee, such as a merchant. The payer's communication device automatically acquires payment facilitation data comprising payee account identification data identifying a payment account associated with the payee and maintained by an acquirer. The payment facilitation data preferably also includes transaction data describing the payment, such as the amount of the payment. From the payment facilitation data, the communication device generates a payment request which is transmitted to an issuer at which the payer maintains a payment account. The issuer communicates with the acquirer, typically via a payment network, to arrange for a payment to be made, and the payment is credited to the payment account associated with the payee, and debited from the payment account associated with the payer. Thus, a payment is effected without the payee ever receiving confidential information about the payer's payment account.
