Patent number: 7296308Abstract: The invention comprises, in one form thereof, a water circulator that connects to the pressurized water inlet in a swimming pool. Water from the pool is pumped through the pool's filter system and into the water circulator through the pool inlet. The water circulator includes a jet tube that is vertically oriented and proximate to the pool's side wall. The pressurized water exits the jet tube through several nozzles in the jet tube. The nozzles direct the pressurized water along the side wall to thereby direct debris toward the pool outlet. The pool outlet carries the debris and water to the pool's filter system. The nozzles direct the water away from the pool outlet so that the water current travels along the majority of the side wall before reaching the pool outlet. Thus, more debris may be picked up in the current and slower moving water passes the pool outlet. The jet tube further includes one or more outlets proximate to the pool floor.Type: GrantFiled: June 30, 2004Date of Patent: November 20, 2007Inventor: John B. Turner

Patent number: 6676038Abstract: A system for dispensing liquid material with different configurations of air assisted fiberization or filament movement (e.g., meltblowing, controlled fiberization). In particular, front access for mounting a selected nozzle only requires adjustment of one lever and one fastener. Features of the lever and nozzle allow assisted ejection of the nozzle, even when the nozzle has become adhered to a die body through use. In addition, a nozzle mounting surface of the die body provides a universal interface to the various types of nozzles. An air cavity in the die body and air troughs in selected types of nozzles balance and adjust air flow.Type: GrantFiled: October 31, 2001Date of Patent: January 13, 2004Assignee: Nordson CorporationInventors: Charles A. Gressett, Jr., David E. Hardy, John M. Riney, Laurence B. Saidman, Paul Schmidt

Patent number: 6666386Abstract: An atomizing spray nozzle structure comprising a main unit, a rotor and a spray nozzle, wherein the main unit and the spray nozzle are joined by thread tightening. Inside the main unit is an accommodating space. The spray nozzle has a through channel running along the axis thereof. The accommodating space is communicative with the through channel, having a rotor inside the through channel and the accommodating space, characterized in that: an end of the rotor corresponding to the accommodating space is a tapered end, and a neck is protruded from the tapered end, the length of the rotor is longer than the through channel at all circumstances, and the end with protruded neck exposed in the accommodating space of the main unit; thereby the rotor can be easily taken out for cleaning purpose after the main unit and the spray nozzle are disassembled.Type: GrantFiled: June 6, 2002Date of Patent: December 23, 2003Inventor: Yu-Chiung Huang

Publication number: 20030230643Abstract: A fluid spray apparatus includes a pump providing fluid at an elevated pressure and a delivery system coupled to the pump to spray the fluid in a predetermined configuration. The delivery system includes a flexible hose and a nozzle receiver adapted to receive one of a plurality of nozzles each having an associated spray pattern. A nozzle retainer coupled to the delivery system is adapted to releasably retain the nozzles in proximity to the distal end of the delivery system. An associated method includes the step of retaining the nozzles when not in use in an ordered pattern relative to the retainer and in proximity to the distal end of the delivery system. A nozzle cleaner having a configuration similar to that of the nozzles includes a pin and a guard pivotally mounted to cover the pin.Type: ApplicationFiled: May 20, 2002Publication date: December 18, 2003Inventor: Adolfo Arteaga Bugarin

Publication number: 20030192962Abstract: The neblizer vial (10) for aerosol therapy comprises a tube (14) fed at a first end with compressed air, the tube (14) being constricted at its second end prior to the relative exit orifice (16) to obtain a venturi effect. The orifice (16) of the tube (14) emerges from the free surface of a solution (22) of an aerosol therapy medicament, a nozzle (18) being concentrically mounted on the second end of the tube (14) such that between the tube (14) and nozzle (18) there remains an interspace (20) communicating with the solution (22). A flow breaker device (26) is provided above the orifice (30) of the nozzle (18). The vial (10) is provided with an exit (34) for the formed aerosol and an inlet (24) for entry of external air as a result of suction exerted by the patient on the exit (34). For diameter parity of the orifice (30) of the nozzle (18), means are provided to vary the distance between the nozzle orifice (30) and the flow breaker device (26).Type: ApplicationFiled: February 11, 2003Publication date: October 16, 2003Inventor: Nicola Fraccaroli

Patent number: 6612507Abstract: A sink water spraying apparatus includes a sprayer housing having a channel extending between inlet and outlet ports. The housing includes a trigger for actuating water flow. A pulsation selector disc is rotatably coupled to the housing and defines a hole that may be selectively aligned with the outlet port. A pulsation assembly is connected to a shaft extending from the housing and may receive a water stream flowing through the pulsation selector disc. The pulsation assembly includes a rotor for repetitively disrupting this flow so as to make it pulsate. A pattern selector disc is releasably coupled to the pulsation selector disc and defines differently configured nozzle ports. The pattern selector disc may be rotated such that a water stream received from the pulsation assembly may be conveyed in a desired pattern. An auxiliary cleaning attachment may be releasably coupled to the pattern selector disc.Type: GrantFiled: June 18, 2002Date of Patent: September 2, 2003Inventors: Sandra D. Meyer, Ryan E.
