The spring band clamp block can be built especially easily for all types of spring band clamps (1) by the spring band clamps (1) being joined to one another, preferably, by means of at least two adhesive strips (5, 6). The adhesive strips (5, 6) are arranged on the spring bands (2), parallel to the lengthwise axis (7) of the spring band clamps (1), and preferably in the vicinity of the projecting tensioning ends (3, 4).

An augmenting attachment is connected to the second portion of the hook and loop fastener. The second portion connects the attachment to the first portion of the hook and loop fastener.

Abstract: In a strip-shaped surface fastener, fence portions, each of which periphery is blocked, integrally stand on a surface of a flat base portion made of synthetic resin. The fence portions may be formed of foam members and bonded to the surface of the flat base portion. Then, male type engaging elements are integrally molded inside each of the fence portions. Alternatively, a woven or knitted male type, female type or male-and-female mixture type surface fastener member, or a male type surface fastener member made of synthetic resin may be pasted or bonded inside each of the fence portions. An attaching portion, in which no engaging elements are disposed, are integrally formed on an outer periphery of each of the fence portions. Therefore, it is possible to prevent foam resin material from penetrating an interior of each of the fence portions during an embedding operation and to effectively embed the surface fastener in a cushion body of a foam resin molding type.

Abstract: A stretchable tape includes a nonextensible layer having a separation line, a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer, an extensible layer and an adhesive inhibiting masking between adjacent portions of the extensible layer and adhesive layer to enable relative movement and tape stretchability. The tape is especially useful in the manufacture of diaper tabs. The tape stock and diaper tabs may be manufactured using conventional web processing equipment.

With the two synthetic resin layers, the flat substrate can have a desired curvature in width direction. The fastening body is fixed by engagement in each of engaging groove portions of a mounting body. The mounting body has a substantially U-shaped section, formed along both side edges in a width direction, so that openings formed by the U-shaped section oppose each other.

A bonding agent produces a bonding with the pertinent foam material. The bonding agent is made of an adhesive that is selected to accommodate when the adhesive closure part is made of either a polyamide or a polyolefin material.

Abstract: A trash bag belt having a first end, a second end, and a middle portion situated between the two ends. The belt further has an outer surface and an inner surface. A section of hook and loop fasteners is positioned at each end of the belt. The two sections are mateable with each other when the two ends are brought together. The length of the trash bag belt is constructed from an elastic material in order to allow the belt to expand and secure tightly around a trash receptacle as necessary.

Abstract: The present invention is directed to a golf glove holder adapted to be mounted to a golf cart frame member. The golf glove holder includes a main body and an attachment member affixed to the main body for attachment of the golf glove holder to the golf cart body frame member. The main body of the golf glove holder is preferably cylindrical and includes a golf glove holder at one end of the main body. The golf glove holder is configured to releasably hold an interior wrist sweat band of a golf glove along at least a portion of an outer circumference of the main body such that air flowing through the main body is directed into the glove. Preferably, the golf glove holder comprises a strip of nylon hook material adhesively affixed to an outer circumference of one end of the main body. The nylon hook material strip is adapted to releasably hold the golf glove wrist sweat band. The main body is preferably a length of PVC plastic pipe having a outer diameter of 2⅜ inches and a length of 2½ inches.

Abstract: An adjustable strap assembly utilizing hook and loop type fastening means as the primary adjustment means is provided which can be used on a variety of articles which require some measure of adjustment to accommodate different users or different utilizations. The adjustable strap assembly includes an elongated web having an outersurface provided with loop-type fastening means and a securing strap member having an undersurface provided with hook type fastening means. The securing strap member is attached to a first end of the elongated web subsequent to the formation of a first looped end and is releasably secured to the elongated web by the contact and engagement of the hook-type with the loop type fastening means. Release of the hook-type fastening means from the loop-type fastening means is facilitated with a key which slides between the hook-type and loop-type fastening means.

At least one strip of the other of the hook type and the loop type material wraps respective portions of the wire and mates with the one of the hook type and the loop type material of one of the mats.

Abstract: Cooperating strips respectively having loop-type and hook-type connector surfaces are passed through loops forming handles of carrying bags to retain the carrying bags as a group. The ends of the strips, which are typically taken from supply rolls have saw tooth ends, and are heat sealed for protection against fraying. In one embodiment, the strips are aligned end to end. In another embodiment, the loop-type and hook-type connections are staggered so that a first end of one of the strips lies intermediate the ends of the other strip, and whereby the opposite end of the first strip, after being passed through the handles of the bags is brought around so as to lie adjacent to the first end of the first strip. A method is provided for forming the hook-type and loop-type strips to prevent fraying due to use.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a securing or button replacement device which includes a base member having an attachment side and a fastening side and a connecting member secured to the base member. The connecting member is sized to fit through a hole in a first piece of material to be joined to a second piece of material or a first part of a garment to be joined to a second part of a garment. After a free end of the connecting portion is passed through the hole, the connecting member is looped on itself so that the free end can be brought into engagement with a plurality of engagement members on the fastening side of the base member.

Abstract: A synthetic resin opening and closing press fastener comprises a front side flat plate portion and a rear side flat plate portion which are attached to the end edges of a flat plate shaped attached body. One end of these portions are connected by means of a connecting portion that is a positioning portion of the end edge of the attached body, and has a number of male engaging elements of a surface fastener on the rear face of the rear side flat plate portion. In order to attach this opening and closing press fastener to the attached body, the fastener attaching end edge of the attached body is inserted from an open end of the front and rear side flat plate portions of the press fastener. When the above end edge abuts against the connecting portion, both of the flat plate portions are connected to each other via the attached body by means of synthetic resin pin members having at least engaging heads at one end.

The strap device includes a flexible strap having a first end with a first securing means, a second end with a second securing means, a first attachment means mounted on the flexible strap near the first end, and a second attachment means mounted on the flexible strap near the second end. The attachment means each can be releasably secured to a position on the flexible strap, forming a primary loop for securing the flexible strap to the object or to a support structure. The first securing means preferably is an elastic loop, which can attach the object to the strap device regardless of the object's shape and dimensions, while the second securing means attaches to a support near the infant for his use.

Abstract: A self-adhesive garment closure for a garment includes a pair of opposed cooperating fastener elements, each having an exposed layer of self-adhesive material exhibiting strong adhesion to itself while remaining relatively tack-free to other materials. At least one of the fastener elements has a layer of foam material beneath the self-adhesive material, such as for increased bending stiffness. In some cases, such as for pull-up diapers, the self-adhesive closure is non-releasable once secured. Some closures also have cooperating hook-and-loop elements.

The tape tab backing further has a folded tape portion comprising a backing having an adhesive layer on an outer face and having at least an inner leg portion and an outer leg portion. The outer leg portion has an exposed adhesive provided for attachment to the disposable absorbent article. The inner and outer leg portions are separated by at least one fold. The folded tape portion backing has a line of weakness along the at least one fold. The line of weakness is provided on a portion of the tape tab backing spaced from the first distal end portion.

This cord fastener comprises a cylindrical main body having a bottom and a pair of cam faces at a bottom thereof and a sliding body capable of fitting in an inside of the main body and containing a body portion provided at an upper portion thereof and a pair of elastic leg portions at a lower portion thereof. Insertion holes for a tightening cord are provided in the main body and sliding body. The sliding body is inserted into the main body and then the tightening cord is inserted while pressing the sliding body. When the pressing is released, the sliding body is resiled so that the tightening cord is fixed. A surface fastener member is provided on a surface of the main-body perpendicular to the insertion hole by integral molding or bonding.

Abstract: A removable nametag or insignia that is placed on a uniform or garment with a hook-loop system like the product sold under the registered trademark VELCRO. A flexible backsheet is sewn or otherwise attached to the garment or uniform piece with a set of loops facing outward. A nametag or insignia, either rigid or flexible, is equipped with a set of hooks on its backside. The nametag or insignia is then pressed onto the backsheet when the member is to be worn. For laundering or other maintenance of the garment, the nametag or insignia is removed. Numerous garments can contain backsheets with loop material in the correct position. When the user wants to wear one of them, he or she simply presses the nametag or insignia into position. In this manner a single nametag or insignia can service a wardrobe of garments. The method allows nametags and insignia to be removably worn without making pin or postholes in garments.

Abstract: A device for fastening an item to a vehicle comprising a strap having a first end, a middle portion, and a second end, and a cross-piece comprising a first end, a middle portion, and a second end. The middle portion of a the cross-piece is attached to the second end of the scrap. The first and second ends of the cross-piece include hook and loop portions respectively, for fastening one end of the cross-piece to the other. When in use, the second of the scrap is wrapped around a portion of a vehicle. Fastening components such as male and female buckle portions are used to secure the item to the vehicle. Excess material on the second end of the strap is rolled upon itself, leaving the first and second ends of the cross-piece exposed. The first and second ends of the cross-piece are then fastened to each other around at least a portion of the role material leaving no excess material exposed to when the vehicle is in motion.

Abstract: An expandable, self-fastening strap includes a pair of fastening ends separated by a band, at least a portion of which is expandable. Located on one of the fastening ends is an eyelet. At least a portion of the laces of a boot may be forwarded through the eyelet. The strap and lace combination is wrapped around the boots, with the strap covering the laces, until the fastening ends of the strap meet. The fastening ends are then fastened together. Because at least a portion of the band is expandable, when the band is wrapped around the boot pressure is placed upon the laces, thereby precluding them from slipping under the strap. The strap thus secures the laces without undesirably constricting circulation of the wearer. As a result, wearer fatigue and discomfort is reduced. In addition, because the strap is tightly affixed to the boot, the device presents no extraneous protrusions that may become entangled in machinery or the like.

A stiffener having a shaped end is positioned between the hook portion and the webbing to provide some rigidity to the webbing. The stiffened flexible strap is more easily threaded around a belt to form a connecting loop.

Abstract: A hanger holder provided for being carried on a conventional laundry basket and for carrying a plurality of conventional clothes hangers in such a manner as to not allow any of the hangers to fall therefrom, and such that the hangers retained thereby are prevented from becoming entangled one with another. The hanger holder of the present invention includes at least two loop members secured to each other or to a base. Each loop member is provided with a fastener for fastening the distal end thereof to either the proximal end of one of the loops, or to the base. In one embodiment, a first loop is provided for being mounted on a conventional laundry basket, a wire-type shelving unit, or a clothes rod in a closet. Second and third loops are provided for encircling either side of at least one conventional hanger, with the hook of each hanger being disposed between the second and third loops.
