Abstract: Provided are a metal double-sided tooth that prevents a flow protruding portion from protruding from the boundary between a coupling concave portion and a body, and a slide fastener using the metal double-sided tooth. The inner side of a coupling concave portion is formed in a substantially bowl shape and a concave portion is formed throughout the boundary between the coupling concave portion and a body and a front side and a rear side of the body. Further, when the metal double-sided tooth is attached to a fastener tape, it is possible to prevent a flow protruding portion generated by caulking a pair of legs from protruding outward from the coupling concave portion or the front side and the rear side of the body until sliding friction is generated in a slider.

Abstract: A slider 1 for a slide fastener 95 comprises a slider body 3 which is slidable over elements of a slide fastener 95 to engage and disengage the elements, and a latch body 5, removably mounted on the slider body 3. The latch body 5 comprises latching means 47, 55 for latching the slider 1 to a cooperating slider. A deflectable tongue 77 on the latch body 5 abuts a projection 69 on the slider body 3 to prevent separation of the latch body 5 from the slider body 3 when the tongue 77 is at rest. When the tongue 77 is deflected away from the projection 69, the latch body 5 and the slider body 3 can be separated.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates a leakproof or leak-resistant zipper with profiles which include an inter-engaging element with inter-engaging fingers and a leakproof or leak-resistant structure. The slider, when moved in the closing direction, urges the fingers of one profile to inter-engage with the fingers of the other profile and further urges the elements of the leakproof or leak-resistant structure into engagement with each other. The slider, when moved in the opening direction, separates the inter-engaging fingers of the inter-engaging elements and further allows the elements of the leakproof or leak-resistant structure to separate.

Abstract: A cap structure for a zipper includes a cap and a resilient tab. The cap has a containing groove formed on the bottom surface thereof. At least one lug is disposed on the bottom surface of the containing groove. The bottom of the concave portion is lower than the top of the lug. Two sides of the cap each have a side wall. Each of the side walls has a recess opening that communicates with the containing groove. The resilient tap is disposed within the containing groove and the resilient tap abuts against the limiting portions. One end of the resilient tap has an aperture that corresponds to the lug. Therefore, the resilient tap and cap are combined to form the cap structure. Because the space for the resilient tap to bend is bigger, the force for pulling the slide of the zipper is smaller.

Abstract: A zipper slide for sealing a pair of sealing tapes comprises a separating plate separating an inner space of the zipper slide to form an upper guiding slot and a lower guiding slot, a top plate formed above the upper guiding slot, and a tab connected to the top plate. The upper and lower guiding slots are communicated with each other at a rear end of the inner space, and used to guide a first sealing groove of a first sealing tape and a second sealing groove of a second sealing tape so that the first and second sealing grooves are connected with each other at the rear end of the inner space. The separating plate of the zipper slide is extended forward out of a front end of the inner space of the zipper slide to form a sealing end having an inclined surface with a substantially triangle cross-section, which tightly inserts into a slit formed between the first and second sealing grooves.
