Abstract: An arbor mounted disc adjusting apparatus includes a tube that has a first end, a second end and a perimeter wall. The perimeter wall has a pair of elongated breaks therein extending through the first and second ends to partition the tube into a first section and a second section. A coupler retains the first and second sections together in a tubular configuration. An actuation assembly is mechanically coupled to the first and second sections to selectively move the first and second sections toward or away from each other. A plurality of separator discs is mounted on the tube so that the tube extends through the discs. The discs are movable on the tube when the first and second sections abut each other and are retained in place by friction between the discs and the tube when the first and second sections are moved apart from each other.
Abstract: A rolled body holder includes a center shaft member serving as a lead screw connected to a handle, a cam member screwed to the center shaft member, and a plurality of segments which form a cylindrical body covering the center shaft member and the cam member. The cam member includes a plurality of rails, and each of the rails includes a cam surface with a radially varying height. Each of the segments includes a follower part fitted to the rail and relatively slidable along the cam surface and an outer surface part on which multiple projections are formed. When the cylindrical body is inserted into a paper tube of a rolled body and the handle is rotated, the center shaft member is rotated to move the cam member in the longitudinal direction. Then, a portion of the cam surface, which is higher in the radial direction, is brought into contact with the follower part, and each of the segments extends in the radial direction so that the projections bite into an inner surface of the paper tube.

In the roll holder device, first and second holder cores are inserted in respectively first and second ends of the tubular spool shaft. A holder frame supports the first and second holder cores in a rotatable manner. Anti-dropping levers prevent the tubular spool shaft from dropping from the first and second holder cores by pushing a shaft inner surface of the tubular spool shaft.

Abstract: An umbrella type quick wire removal device for winding machines including a shaft, a shaft collar, an umbrella type pawl mechanism, an inner annular plate, a take mechanism, and an outer annular plate. The device is characterized in that, when the take mechanism is pulled outwardly along the direction of a main shaft of the shaft after the winding operation, guide wheels in base rods of the pawl mechanism lose support of a securing seat so that the base rods retract inwardly using the holes of the corresponding shaft brackets to allow removal of the wound wire. The pawl mechanism may be connected to wire guide so that an end of the bundle of wound wire may be passed out through a through hole for easy pulling of the wire.

Abstract: A collapsable reel using a sectional rim comprising articulated saddle shaped sections. One side of a section is fixed. A central bottom part can be tilted and the other side is fully inclinable. The lowering of the bottom added to the lowering of one side allows effortless removal of the coil. The reel comprises a central shaft, a set of eight radial arms fixed to the shaft and a second set of radial arms pivotally mounted on a slider bushing which is slidably related to the base of the fixed radial arms by a two arm linkage. A radially directed pin hinged at the intersection of the linkage is actuated by a sliding wedge located within the shaft and pulled by a handle, which pushes the pin outwards thereby folding the linkage. When the linkage is thus folded, it pulls in a slider linked to the articulated rim sections, thereby collapsing the sections to a smaller inside diameter than is possible when simply tilting a one piece saddle section.
