Abstract: A roof antenna may include an upper case formed to be opened at a lower portion thereof and including a plurality of fusion bosses and a plurality of hooks at the lower portion, a lower case coupled to the plurality of fusion bosses and the plurality of hooks to shield the opened lower portion of the upper case and configured to be coupled to a roof of a vehicle, and a rubber pad mounted to a lower portion of the lower case to prevent exposure to the outside by the upper case and provided so that the lower case is configured to be water-tightly coupled to the roof of the vehicle.

Abstract: A mechanical planer board that is arranged for use on both the right and left sides of a towing boat and is further adapted to move from a boat side position to a boat rear position upon a fish strike. The planer board includes a body having a housing, a float, an internal assembly, and at least one line clip having a tow arm. The tow arm maintains the line clip in towing configuration until a fish strike pulls a trigger pin to release the tow arm thereby allowing it to swing and lock in a forward position. The board may further include an indicator device to alert the fisher of board location.

Abstract: A unique foldable mounting bracket assembly for mounting and securing both vertically and horizontally disposed accessories for decks and patios. Both an upper and lower mounting bracket assembly are required when supporting a vertically disposed cylindrical post. These brackets are mounted to the vertical post and when used in conjunction with the railing of a deck the brackets can be mounted below the top railing horizontal support cross member and above the lower support cross member. When mounting in conjunction with a horizontally disposed accessory, only a single bracket is required; which can be mounted below the top railing horizontal support cross member. The bracket can be mounted such that the horizontally disposed accessory can be stored and not be removed. The mounting bracket assembly can support both vertically and horizontally disposed patio and deck accessories simultaneously.

Abstract: An accessory mount allows accessories to be removably and adjustably mounted to a surface. In an example, the surface may be that of a watercraft, and the accessory may be a fishing rod. The mount may be used with a track fixable to an environmental surface or mounted directed to the environmental surface. When used with a track, a post of the accessory mount releaseably engages the track. Slidable engagement of the post allows lateral or horizontal adjustment of the accessory. An accessory engaging member is adjustable in relation to the post about a horizontal axis and a vertical axis, so that angular and azimuthal rotational adjustments of the accessory are enabled. A single lever is used to make angular and rotational adjustments, and to release the accessory engaging member from the post.

Abstract: One embodiment of a portable shade maker includes a collapsible cart and a telescoping and tiltable umbrella for the protection and comfort of individuals conducting activities that is lightweight and easy to relocate according to the chosen activity. The load platform can have a flange base that can accept and secure an umbrella. In addition, it can be used to carry supplies, tools, and activity equipment on its load platform to the destination location.

Abstract: A support pin is engaged with a collar, as affixed to a mount, by an engaging mechanism between the support pin and the collar, which engaging mechanism provides interchangeability, index-ability and positive locking between the support pin and the collar. Motion picture lighting and rigging equipment is secured to the support pin. The engaging mechanism includes a V-shaped or other configured reception on or in the collar with a cross-pin or similarly other configured portion on the support pin (e.g., non-circular cross-sectional configurations such as a hexagon). A linchpin is placed though mating openings in the collar and support pin to lock the two together when the mating openings are aligned. Two or more crossing V-shaped receptions or non-circular cross-sectional configurations provide a variety of angular orientations of the support pin, especially for bent support pins, with respect to the collar.

Abstract: A concealed cargo carry system is used to holster, conceal, and surface mount a firearm. The system includes a first L-shaped bracket and a second L-shaped bracket which are slidably engaged with each other through a bracket adjustment mechanism. This allows the first L-shaped bracket and the second L-shaped bracket to be adjusted to fit firearms and clothing applications of varying types. The first L-shaped bracket and the second L-shaped bracket frame the firearm, concealing the shape of the firearm when carried in a bag or clothing. The system also includes a barrel support which is mounted onto the base member of the first L-shaped bracket. The barrel support is used to securely mount the firearm onto the system. The system also includes a receiver unit which engages with the first L-shaped bracket and the second L-shaped bracket to attach additional mounting components to the system for expanded carry applications.

Abstract: A mounting bracket for securing a camera or other device to a hollow pole includes an L-shaped member, attached to the device, with a vertical surface that engages the outer surface of the pole and a horizontal surface that rests on the top surface of the pole while a downwardly-projecting member slides into the top of the pole allowing the device to hang stably on the pole during alignment. A bolt passes axially through the downwardly projecting member and engages a gripping member. The downwardly-projecting member and gripping member have mating surfaces inclined relative to the axis of the bolt, so that when the bolt is tightened, the gripping member slides laterally to engage against the inner surface of the pole. A cover plate engages the outer surface of the opposite side of the pole and is secured to the L-shaped to fully secure the assembly.

Abstract: The present disclosure describes a clamp used for adherence and securement to a desired object. The clamp has an upper half and a lower half held together by hinges. Opposite the hinges there is a locking mechanism which can be loosened or tightened as necessary. The clamp further has a shaped support designed to support a number of objects including solar lights, flags, poles, signs, rods, and the like. The clamp is designed to fit on existing colonial style and chain link fence structures, however, the clamp can be sized appropriately for the specific need.

Abstract: The cane clamp is a device for securely clamping a walking cane to a table, chair or any conventional, sturdy surface that is up to five inches thick. The cane clamp consists of a body configured to securely hold a tubular device such as a walking cane, a bracket which provides two planar contacts to a projecting surface, and a constant force spring which provides a third planar contact to a projecting surface. The end of the constant force spring is attached between the body and the bracket, and may be opened easily by a user, preferably with a single finger.

Abstract: A bracket for attaching a post to one or more fascia boards is provided. In one embodiment, the bracket comprises a flat top surface with openings sized to receive fasteners for attachment to the post. A back surface comprises openings sized to receive fasteners for attachment to the fascia boards. Two flanges extend substantially perpendicularly to both the top surface and the back surface. A cover is releasably attachable to the flanges. In another embodiment, the bracket comprises a top surface, a plurality of walls extending down from the top surface, and a plurality of angled faces extending from an edge of the walls. The top surface, the walls, and the angled faces form a semi-enclosed space.

A truss having a mount and a plug can be used to secure an antenna to a structure, in particular a rod holder of a boat. A truss can be used to secure the antenna and prevent undesirable contact with other structures. Particular embodiments can be configured to accommodate antennas that, when stowed, are not located near a structure.

Abstract: A bracket assembly for securing a vertically disposed elongated cylindrical support member to a vertically disposed post or the like. The bracket assembly includes an upper bracket and a lower bracket. The upper bracket includes upper and lower plate members having uniquely designed openings formed therein. The lower bracket includes upper and lower plate members with the upper plate member of the lower bracket having a uniquely shaped opening formed therein. A clamping means is also provided on the lower plate member of the upper bracket and on the upper plate member of the lower bracket.

Abstract: A bracket system for connecting a structural member to an upright member includes a bracket having an attachment portion configured to be operatively attached to a vertical or side surface of the structural member and a cup portion integral with the attachment portion. The cup portion includes a base portion and an interior perimeter surface configured to receive the upright member in an installed position such that the exterior perimeter surface of the upright member is proximate to the interior perimeter surface of the cup portion and the upright member is supported in an orientation which is substantially perpendicular and parallel to the structural member. The bracket may include an adjustable member received through a bracket opening and adjustable to retain the upright member in or allow removal of the upright member from the bracket. The upright member may include a reinforcing face plate interfacing with the adjustable member.

First and second guides are included with each guide attached to the plate and each side support. Each guide extends away from the base.

Abstract: The invention is a unit for fixing an antenna, comprising: a base element suited to support the antenna, provided with a contact surface suited to rest against a plate-like supporting body; a fixing element comprising a main body suited to be connected to the base element through joining means that define a connection direction, and a projecting body mainly developed according to the connection direction and associated with the main body through a deformable connection section. The projecting body has a reference surface facing a corresponding thrust surface of the main body and spaced from it, the connection section being configured so that its deformation makes it possible to move near each other and bring into contact the reference surface and the thrust surface when the fixing element is connected to the base element.

Abstract: A fixing device of an antenna device includes a base member, a fixing member, a bolt and a guide which guides the base member to a fixing opening. The fixing device takes a main fixed state in which the mounting surface is clamped between the fixing member and the base member after inserting the fixing member into the fixing opening and rotating the fixing member at a predetermined angle, and an initial fixed state in which the fixing device is fixed before the fixing member is rotated at the predetermined angle. The guide is arranged at a position to surround the fixing member in the initial fixed state, and includes guide portions which have greater height than that of a lower end of the fixing member in the initial fixed state.

Abstract: An improved portable, fishing rod holder, for holding the handle of a fishing rod while it is in use and that is capable of being detachably secured to an assortment of environmental support structures, includes: (a) a container whose first end has an opening that is adapted to removably receive a fishing rod handle and whose second end has a threaded hole, (b) a threaded rod having proximal and distal ends, and a thread configuration adapted to allow this rod's proximal end to be detachably threaded into the threaded hole of the container's second end, and (c) a plurality of two-part (i.e., active and passive) clamps, each of which is capable of detachably securing this container to one of an assortment of possibly available environmental support structures.

Abstract: This invention is directed to a fishing rod holder having a generally annular mounting bezel which generally surrounds the mouth of a tube for receiving the butt of a fishing rod. The underside of the mounting bezel includes at least one blind hole or projecting mounting stud for receiving a fastener for mounting the rod holder without penetrating the exposed surface of the mounting bezel, providing an aesthetically pleasing appearance. A rod engaging member or pin engages grooves in the butt of a rod, allowing it to swivel. The amount of resistance of the rod engaging member or pin to swivel motion can be adjusted.

Abstract: In one embodiment, the invention is a method and apparatus for installing a post mount. In one embodiment, a support block for use in securing a post mount includes a body having a first end and a second end and an adjustment mechanism formed integrally with the first end of the body, by which a vertical orientation of a post mount incorporating the support block can be adjusted.

Abstract: A cantilever carousel system for efficiently storing multiple print cylinders while providing a common access point for loading and unloading the print cylinders. The cantilever carousel system generally includes an external frame structure defining an internal cavity and a shell connected to the external frame structure to surround the cavity, wherein the shell includes at least one access opening extending therethrough. An internal frame structure is positioned within the cavity and a vertically oriented carousel is supported by the internal frame structure. A drive assembly is mechanically connected to the carousel, wherein the drive assembly circulates the carousel and a plurality of cantilever mandrels are supported by the carousel and circulate with the carousel. A plurality of print cylinders are removably received by the plurality of cantilever mandrels through the access opening.

Abstract: A canopy mounting apparatus for use with a lawn tractor includes a housing having a bottom wall and side walls extending upwardly from the bottom wall to define an interior area and an open top. The upstanding walls include opposed front and rear walls with opposed side walls connecting the front and rear walls. The housing rear wall is coupled to the lawn tractor rear framework. A support arm includes a first end pivotally coupled to the housing front wall and a second end releasably coupled to the housing front wall such that the support arm is movable between a stowed configuration when the support arm is coupled to the housing front wall and an extended configuration when the support arm is extended away from the housing front wall. A canopy holding member is coupled to the support arm and includes a configuration complementary to a canopy shaft.

Abstract: An apparatus for fastening an antenna to several vehicles which have restrictive placement locations is disclosed. One embodiment of the apparatus includes a mounting bracket and a shelf bracket; where the mounting bracket is adapted to be securely attached to several vehicles. An antenna mounts on the shelf bracket and the shelf bracket is adapted to be oriented to a preferred antenna position and to be securely attached to the mounting bracket.

Abstract: A bracket for a post comprises a body adapted for being located at the post and at least one projection extending out from the body. The projection is adapted for retaining thereat at least one of a ground securing pin and an end of a tensioning rod. A post securement system comprises the bracket and at least one of the ground securing pin and tensioning rod. A method employing the bracket locates the post in ground, locates the bracket along the post and positions at least one of the ground securing pin and tensioning rod to be retained at the bracket.

Abstract: A mount for being positioned on a rail and for receiving a fishing rod holder is provided. The mount includes a retaining member having a pair of spaced-apart walls that are interconnected on respective first ends by a connecting wall, the pair of spaced-apart walls defining a gap therebetween and a compression block selectively receivable within the gap of the retaining member and having a width that approximates a width of the rail. A fastener engages the compression block and extends from about respective second ends of each wall of the pair of spaced-apart walls and is configured such that tightening of the fastener deforms at least one wall of the pair of spaced-apart walls into engagement with the compression block, thereby providing an interference fit between the pair of spaced-apart walls of the retaining member and the rail.

Abstract: A hanger tool that includes an elongated body with an upper portion and a lower portion, a first opening formed in the upper portion of the elongated body, an attachment body connected to the lower portion of the elongated body, a second opening formed in the attachment body, a teeth protruding into the opening. The elongated body and the second opening are oriented at approximately 90 degrees relative to each other. The second opening is sized to frictionally engage an implement in order to securely hold the implement in place, and to lock the hanger tool in place between the head and pole portions of the implement when these portions are connected together.

Abstract: A fixing device of an antenna device includes a base member, a fixing member, a bolt and a guide which guides the base member to a fixing opening. The fixing device takes a main fixed state in which the mounting surface is clamped between the fixing member and the base member after inserting the fixing member into the fixing opening and rotating the fixing member at a predetermined angle, and an initial fixed state in which the fixing device is fixed before the fixing member is rotated at the predetermined angle. The guide is arranged at a position to surround the fixing member in the initial fixed state, and includes guide portions which have greater height than that of a lower end of the fixing member in the initial fixed state.

Abstract: Many tools and other items include a shaft. A restraining device is disclosed for restraining such an item when the item is not in use. In one embodiment, the restraining device includes at least one of: (i) a thumb-receiving surface for receiving a force by a thumb to pivot an arm open; and (ii) a finger-receiving surface for receiving a force by at least one finger to pivot the arm open. The restraining device may be used in restraining a reaching device in a rural mail carrier's vehicle. An apparatus is therefore also disclosed that, in one embodiment, includes a supporting body securable to a vehicle seat. The supporting body supports a tray for holding mail. The restraining device is connected to the supporting body.

Abstract: A device for anchoring a post to a supporting surface is disclosed. In one embodiment, the device comprises a base member and post mounting plate, the post mounting plate comprising a post-facing seat, the base member and post mounting plate comprising a plurality of first openings, each such first opening for accepting and accommodating a fastener for attaching the device to a post, and a plurality of second openings, each such second opening for accepting and accommodating a fastener for attaching the device to a supporting surface. Each first opening is disposed to accept a fastener, such as a screw, at an upwardly inclined angle and, further, at a laterally displaced offset angle. The device orients and positions a plurality of fasteners within the post in a configuration wherein the fasteners are disposed angularly about, and offset from, a central, vertical axis in a preferably non-intersecting arrangement.

Abstract: A bracket is formed from a front member and a back member. The front member includes a curvilinear portion flanked by first and second wing portions. The back member includes a central portion flanked by first and second end portions. The first and second wing portions of the curvilinear portion are secured by fasteners to the first and second wing portions, respectively, in a manner which forms a clamping area between the curvilinear portion and the central portion to frictionally attach the bracket to a received pipe/pole member. First and second upright members extend from the first and second wing portions, respectively. The first and second upright members support attachment of covering for boxing in of the received pipe/pole member and concealment of the bracket.

Abstract: A plurality of projections of which leading edge is sharp is formed on an outer edge on a flat-plate shaped base plate of a mounting bracket. A washer formed with a plurality of protruding tips of which a leading edge is sharp at its upper rim is integrally formed at a substantially center portion of the base plate so as to protrude downward. A nut is rotatably mounted at a bottom portion of the washer. A frame of an antenna device has a shark-fin shape. A protruding screw protrudes from a bottom surface of an antenna base. When the nut of the mounting bracket is tightened to the protruding screw, a plurality of projection and the plurality of protruding tips sticks into a roof. This provides an antenna mounting bracket that does not wobble even if a shark-fin type vehicle antenna is mounted to a curved vehicle panel.

Abstract: A fishing rod holder device includes a mounting strap having a center portion and spaced apart end portions extending outwards from the center portion. The center portion has an opening extending therethrough. A pivot extends through the opening of the mounting strap, and has a first end adjacent an underside of the mounting strap and a second end adjacent a topside of the mounting strap. A cradle is coupled to the second end of the pivot and configured to receive a fishing rod. The cradle is rotatable with respect to the mounting strap for positioning the fishing rod in a desired direction. A safety strap is coupled to the cradle for securing the fishing rod within the cradle.

Abstract: A fishing rod holder device for temporarily securing to a dock. The device features a mounting base, a pole holding tube extending upwardly at an angle from the mounting base, a channel aperture disposed in the mounting base; and a locking means for securing the mounting base to a dock in a tool-free and hardware-free manner. The locking means features a locking means base dispose don the mounting base, a sliding tube telescopically received in the locking means base, a shaft extending through both the sliding tube and locking means base, a first T-bar disposed on the shaft above the sliding tube and a second T-bar disposed on the shaft below the mounting base. The second T-bar can be moved upwardly toward the mounting base to compress planks of a dock to secure the device to the dock.

Abstract: A portable apparatus for holding one or more pole-like objects, in particular, billiard cues, is provided. The apparatus prevents the pole-like objects from accidently falling out, if they are unintentionally bumped. The apparatus can be mounted on a piece of furniture, e.g. a tabletop.

Abstract: A bracket is provided for mounting an antenna onto a well disposed on a gun turret. The antenna (for receiving GPS signals) has an exposed dome and a connector extending underneath the dome. The bracket includes a substantially cylindrical housing that contains an internal chamber. The housing has proximal and distal ends along a longitudinal axis. The distal end has a first surface for attaching to the well. A flange disposed at the proximal end provides a surface onto which the antenna mounts. The connector can be inserted into the chamber. A male-threaded boss extends from the distal end to insert into a female-threaded well disposed on the turret.

Abstract: A suspension system for the attachment of a multiple bladed fan, connected beneath the roof of a canopy-styled tent or other overhead structure. The system's bracket is comprised of multiple arms that universally grip the frame of the said canopy-styled tent or overhead structure. Suspension is not limited to a fan, but also other embodiments, each powered by a plug or battery. The bracket is manufactured in polymer or like material. The system's fan blades are comprised of foam, rubber, or other soft matter. The suspension system allows the fan or other attached embodiment's height to be manipulated by a process further shown in this application. The system further includes embodiments for lighting, heating, or the mounting of additional embodiments. The suspension system and its embodiments are portable and may be broken down into a self-contained bag or case for easy transport.
