Abstract: An umbrella mounting system comprises a base having a top surface and a bottom surface, a first side edge and a second side edge; a first base aperture disposed on the base toward the first side edge of the base and a second base aperture disposed on the base toward the second side edge of the base; a cylindrical mounting shaft having a first end with an opening and a second end, the opening of the first end of the mounting shaft functions to hold a shaft of an umbrella that is inserted into the opening, wherein the mounting shaft is attaches the top surface of the base and extends upwardly therefrom.

Abstract: This invention is directed to a fishing rod holder having a generally annular mounting bezel which generally surrounds the mouth of a tube for receiving the butt of a fishing rod. The underside of the mounting bezel includes at least one blind hole or projecting mounting stud for receiving a fastener for securely mounting the fishing rod holder to a panel member of a marine vessel without penetrating the exposed upper surface of the mounting bezel in order to provide an aesthetically pleasing appearance.

Abstract: A universal post having a tapered elongated member with a proximal end and a distal end such that the proximal end is larger in size than the distal end of the elongated member for receiving one of a trash receptacle and a mail box thereon. A stabilizer is disposed orthogonal to and radially extending from the distal end of the elongated member. The stabilizer being substantially greater in length than width for placement on a ground surface so that a weighted member, received thereupon the stabilizer together with the stabilizer, supports the elongated member in a substantially vertical, stationary position with respect to the ground surface. The universal post capable of use on a flat paved surface and on a flat unpaved surface with the addition of a spike. The universal post further usable as a movable fence.

Abstract: The invention relates to a clamping device for rod-shaped profiled elements with a substantially circular cross section and with a central axis (R) of the profiled element which axis runs along a longitudinal direction (L) of the rod-shaped profiled element. The device has at least two centering clamps distanced from each other along a theoretical central axis (S), and has at least two opposing clamping cheeks that can be centrally moved between a clamping position and a release position in a moving plane arranged transversely to the theoretical central axis (S). The cheeks each have a support that jointly surround the rod-shaped profiled element in the clamped position and align the central axis (R) of the profiled elements along the theoretical central axis. The shape of the supports can be changed by an adjustable adjusting device, and the adjusting device reduces an offset of the theoretical central axis (S) from the central axis (R) of the profiled elements in the clamped position.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a cord fastener, which is used in cooperation with a cord and for fixing rod-type or columnar components. The cord fastener comprises a main body part having a first surface for leaning against the rod-type or columnar components, and a part for fixing a cord formed at a first end of the main body part and used for fixing a first end of the cord. The main body part has a first aperture for receiving a cord and a slit for clamping a cord communicating with the first aperture for receiving a cord, wherein both of which penetrate through the first surface. Since the cord fastener of present invention is a single part, it is simple in structure and low in cost. Besides, the cord fastener in the present invention can be operated by a single hand, thus also being convenient and efficient for usage.

Abstract: An antenna mount is provided for securing an antenna at a conex enclosure. The mount includes a box bracket having a plurality of flanges, a base plate disposable beneath the box bracket, and a tensioner plate disposable beneath the base plate. The box bracket has a top surface with an orifice to receive the antenna. The base plate is securable to the flanges by a first plurality of fasteners. The tensioner plate is securable to the base plate by a second plurality of fasteners. The box bracket forms a sheet metal plate folded to form a box with fore, aft, lateral and top sides.

Abstract: A system, in certain embodiments, includes a spider configured to support multiple mineral extraction riser segments. The system also includes a gimbal disposed below the spider and configured to support the spider during operation. The system further includes one or more arcuate radio frequency identification (RFID) antennas disposed within the gimbal and/or the spider. The one or more arcuate RFID antennas are configured to communicate with one or more RFID tags coupled to each riser segment.

Abstract: A movable pole support includes an upper block and a lower block, each formed with a pole-receiving bore. The blocks are separated by a number of extension posts that maintain the blocks in a parallel position and spaced-apart to define a gap. The gap is sized to accept the edge of a table or counter, and the lower block is equipped with a locking screw that may be threaded into the lower block to secure the movable pole support onto a table or counter. The upper and lower blocks may be formed with a receiving groove shaped to receive a raised table rim, or a lower lip edge. A damage-resistant pad may be provided on any table-contacting surface to avoid damage to the table or counter being used. The movable pole support may also have a pole set screw insertable into the upper block to secure a pole securely within the pole-receiving bore.

A first angle-adjusting mechanism is positioned under the hollow tube and has an immovable geared disk and a movable geared disk mounted on a rotary base and has an eccentric actuating member to engage or disengage the immovable and the movable geared disks. The holder also has a second angle-adjusting mechanism assembled under the first angle-adjusting mechanism and having an immovable geared disk with a fixed shaft and a movable geared disk disposed on a base having an eccentric actuating member for engaging or disengaging the immovable and the movable geared disks of the second angle-adjusting mechanism.

Each bracket may include an elongated end, a curved section adjacent the elongated end, a channel formed by the curved section, and a mating surface adjacent the channel. When the mating surfaces of each bracket are in mating contact with each other, the channels of each bracket are substantially aligned with each other to form a shaft aperture. The brackets may be fitted together via a tongue and groove configuration and are coupled by way of mechanical fasteners at connection points on each bracket. Each bracket may comprise a coupling area that is configured to engage a mechanical fastener. Abstract: A support pole with enhanced strength along it's base includes an elongated pole member secured to a mounting plate. A majority of the length of the pole member has a uniform cross-section. Slits are cut into each side of the pole member along its lower end. A mandrel is placed into the lower end of the pole and expanded, thereby expanding the lower end of the pole away from the center and creating a larger cross-sectional area at its lower end. The lower end of the pole is secured to the mounting plate. Reinforcing members are welded over the expanded slits and the bottom of the reinforcing member is further welded to the mounting plate. The lower section with a larger cross-sectional area increases the moment of inertia and surface area of the support pole, thereby increasing the strength of the support pole.

In this fixing device the fixing element (3) is provided with a first and a second set of projecting elastic tabs (8, 9) suited to lock the base plate (2) to the supporting surface (S), through the thrusting action of the first set of elastic tabs (8) against the wall (10) of the supporting surface (S) and the insertion of the second set of elastic tabs (9) in a plurality of recesses (12) present on the edge of the opening (5) when the first and second set of elastic tabs (8, 9) are positioned in the opening (5) through the insertion and the successive shifting of the base plate (2) with respect to the supporting surface (S).

Abstract: The invention includes a universal retractable handle assembly for attachment to luggage items of a variety of different sizes. A plurality of tubes having a fixed length can be attached to a bracket member such that each tube can extend in a telescoping manner to a different distance from the bracket member when the handle is in the extended position and thus be employed in different sizes of luggage. Additionally, a tube housing is provided which includes a tube receiving portion and reinforcing portions on an outer surface of the tube housing. The tube receiving portion is formed with an arcuate shape which corresponds with the shape of the tube member to be inserted therein. The reinforcing portions include a plurality of planar flanges which extend beyond the outer surface of the tube receiving portion to provide improved structural characteristics.

Abstract: A stylus comprises an annular groove. A holding device for the stylus comprises a hollow tube having a number of first spring tabs. Each first spring tab comprises a prong. The prongs are configured for engaging with the annular groove to hold the stylus in position. An ejecting member is fixed within the hollow tube and configured to apply a spring force to the stylus. When the stylus is pushed inward, the ejecting member is pushed by the stylus and is able to deform to store enough energy to overcome engagement between the prongs and the annular groove when released.

Abstract: A pool net mounting device is disclosed. The mounting device includes a pool net holding portion having a hollow cylindrical tube adapted to receive and secure a pool net in a plurality of angular orientations. The pool net mounting device also includes a mounting portion adapted to be removably attached to a cylindrical object such as a pool ladder rail. The net holding portion and the mounting portion are removably attached to each other in a variety of angular positions so that a wide range of configurations is achieved for orienting a pool debris net at a desired angular orientation and height. The net holding portion includes a number of apertures and slots therein for receiving a spring loaded pin, a common feature of pool nets. Alternative pool net attachment features are also disclosed.

Abstract: A wrap bracket assembly is provided for securing an elongated member. The assembly includes a bracket with a clamp extending from a base to wrap around the elongated member. The clamp defines an aperture, and includes side edges that extend around the elongated member. The assembly also includes a grommet forming a split tubular body that defines a substantially cylindrical cavity. The body has an axially extending opening through which the elongated member is inserted into the cavity. The body includes a pair of flanges, each of which engages one of the first and second side edges to nest the grommet within the clamp. A projection is provided that extends radially outward from the body and is received in the aperture to circumferentially align the grommet with the bracket.

The two-part pole bracket has a first part, for holding the pole, and a second part, including a cylindrical hollow sleeve, for attaching to a support surface. The first part has an elongate body with a tubular upper section and a tubular lower section. The cylindrical hollow sleeve of the second part is sized and shaped to receive at least a portion of the tubular lower section of the first part. A disengageable rotational interlocking means located between the first part and the second part prevents a rotation therebetween when the first and the second parts are rotationally interlocked. The bracket may be used to hold a light pole, flag pole, umbrella pole, or the like at an angle relative to vertical.

Abstract: A holder for a rod and reel combination as may be used for ice fishing is disclosed. The holder has an elongated arm pivotally supported on a wall, pail or fixture mounting bracket for adjustable movement in a horizontal plane; and a tubular sleeve is pivotally attached to the arm for removably receiving and holding a rod and its reel in such an orientation that the rod points downwardly for selective positioning over an ice fishing hole. An alarm finger movable between a restrained or cocked position and a tripped position for actuating an audible alarm is attached to the arm. A fishing line engagement member is operatively associated with the alarm finger in such a way that when a fish strikes and pulls the line, the alarm finger is released from its cocked position and moves to its tripped position to actuate the alarm.

Abstract: An apparatus for the prevention of flag entanglement upon a flagstaff that is comprised of a specifically milled wood block which acts as an attaching mechanism to the flagstaff and is the hinge point for a metal rod that is attached to the flag. The hinge point of the block allows the rod to swing in a 180 degree arc from the 90 degrees to 270 degrees. The length of the rod being equal to or greater than the width of the flag in conjunction with the hinge block action prevents the flag from flipping over and tangling on the staff.

Abstract: A fishing rod fixing device includes a base that is supported by two suction cups for easy and efficient attachment of the device to a smooth fixture surface. A seat is rotatably mounted on the base and is releasably set any desired horizontal direction by an adjustment knob. A catch extends into the upper cavity so as to engage the rib. To use, the shaft is placed through the hole in the top plate and threaded into the hole in the bottom plate; the bottom plate is inserted into a truck bed stake hole; the top plate rests atop the stake hole; and the bottom plate is rotated to wedge within the stake hole. To remove, the bottom plate is rotated counterclockwise until the post in the top plate acts as a stop and prevents rotation, and the assembly is then removed from the stake hole.

Abstract: A fishing pole tender system for temporary attachment to a horizontal support structure, such as a bench seat provided on a boat. The tender system includes a generally rigid frame having a top sized to extend over the support structure, the top having a first end and a second end. A first side depends perpendicularly from the first end of the top. A second side depends perpendicularly from the second end of the top, and has a first section that is parallel with the first side, and a second section that is inclined inwardly towards the first side, with the first section sized to extend over a vertical depth of the support structure such that the second section extends at least partially underneath the support structure. A fishing pole holder is secured to the first side, formed of a hollow sleeve having a notch therein for receiving a fishing reel.

Abstract: This is a versatile flag mounting system, which allows the flagpole bracket and related entities to be secured onto structures such as ladder tubing or railing on a variety of recreational vehicles. This device also allows for rotation of the flag relative to the horizon. The flagpole is secured within this device using a means of securement such as a thumbscrew. This device can also be mounted or secured on a variety of surfaces or structures such as, most flat or round surfaces, homes, corners, fences, and more similarly situated examples.

Abstract: A device for securing a vehicle antenna to a vehicle body is described, to prevent the vehicle antenna from tilting out of the vehicle body in the mounting operation. The device includes projections which engage behind an orifice in the vehicle body for introducing the device on the side of the vehicle body facing away from the vehicle antenna.
