Abstract: A readily detachable and attachable saddle bag for motorcycles and other vehicles. The saddle bag is securable to a plane defining mounting plate that matches indices on a saddle bag and quick release couplings so that the the saddle bag can be quickly attached to and detached from the mounting plate. The mounting plate is low cost and is provided with means for securing the plate to a flat surface or for attaching transition links to the mounting plate for securing the mounting plate to the irregular structures such as the frame of a motorcycle or the like. The bag is provided with detachable wheels and pulling or carrying straps and an attachment for joining two similar saddle bags together.

Abstract: A hook arrangement, for suspending plastic or polyethylene bags that are connected by means of a disposable header, which does not occupy any floor space in the establishments it is to be used in, and which is stable, easy to use, pleasing to the eye, inexpensive to fabricate, and places the plastic bags, that are used in conjunction with it, within easy reach of the consumers requiring the use of such bags.

Abstract: The present shopping bag holder is for holding a used plastic or paper shopping bag as a garbage, trash, or recycling bag. It is comprised of a single side panel connected between opposite end panels to provide an open side. Semi-circular tabs project upward respectively from the tops of the end panels for holding the loop handles of a plastic shopping bag. A hole is provided in each tab for allowing a finger to pass under the loop handle to lift the bag. A gap is provided at the top of each tab to allow the finger to pass through. The side panel is angled outward for leaning a paper shopping bag inward and preventing it from falling out. The open side allows the shopping bag to expand when filled.

Abstract: A collapsible trash bag stand having a sleeve-shaped body made from durable semi-rigid sheet material and having a plurality of punch-out, retainer tabs that snap into position to prevent the bag from slipping into the stand and to accommodate loading of multiple layers of trash bags at one time.

Abstract: This device has an outer binder having an inner side wall surface of a predetermined shape. A plurality of inner hoops having an outer side wall surface of a shape and size complementary to various levels of the inner side wall surface of the outer binder. A flexible bag of any size may be mounted and maintained in an open manner between the outer binder and a selected one of the inner hoops by inserting the bag through the inner hoop with the bag's lip portion folded to wrap around over the outer side wall of the inner hoop and then placed inside the outer binder until the folded back lip portion of the bag is sandwiched between the mating outer binder and inner hoop. The inner hoop has openings to allow the flexible bag to cling to it's side wall to ease the mounting operation.

Abstract: The present invention is a simple and inexpensive removable trash bag support and liner. The liner of the present invention is a single, generally rectangular piece of plastic, preferably about 1/16″ thick, about 32″ high, and with a width (which becomes the perimeter) about 68″. Also, the liner may have several hand holes near its upper and lower edges to facilitate lifting it out of the bag when the bag is full of debris. Also, the liner has a temporary locking mechanism for holding it in a set cylindrical position. When the lock is engaged, the bag liner may be set in a self-standing manner for its edge, and an empty garbage bag easily placed over the liner. Then, when the liner and bag are inverted to the upright position, releasing the locking mechanism lets the liner automatically expand to fit tightly within the plastic bag.

Abstract: A pack of self-opening bags with a front, rear, and co-joined side walls, with front and rear tabs extending from top edges of the front and rear walls. The tabs have a curved aperture slits therein, and the tabs are frangibly adhered together with contact adhesive. The slit has a main cut section, a first curved end section at one end, and a second curved end section at the opposite end. The first curved section has a curve that extends upwardly and inwardly from the main cut section. The second curved section has a substantially semicircular curve that extends from the main cut section in a direction towards the bottom edge of the tab and has an end that is substantially perpendicular to and adjacent the main cut section. In one embodiment, the first curved section is dashed.

Abstract: A hanger for hanging bags wherein a card body (2) cooperates with a holding strip (11) that is connected to the card body by a film hinge (10) to define a gap between the card body and the holding strip. A means for latching the holding strip (11) to the card body (2) includes a first mechanism (9) for latching the holding strip to a fastening surface (7) of the card body (2) or a second mechanism for latching the holding strip to a side edge (14) of the card body (2).

Abstract: A support that is to be attached to the center rail of the handle structure of a stroller or carriage. The support is mounted to the center rail by one or more hooks and has an elongated bar that is suspended from the rail and hangs below and parallel to it. Objects, such as the handle hoops of a bag can be looped over the bar and held by it. In one embodiment, the support mounted to the rail has upper and lower bars that are parallel to each other with a space between the two. A bag has fasteners on a flap and the bag front panel. The bag flap is passed over the bottom bar and the fasteners brought together to secure the flap. This hangs the bag from the support, which in turn is hung from the stroller handle center rail. A bag with a flap in sections also can be used with a support having only a top bar.

Abstract: An adapter for use with dispensing racks having a central mounting hook and T-shirt style bags with tab openings providing a rupturable portion of the tab between the tab opening and the bag mouth is described. The adapter includes a hollow body with a cavity that is sized and shaped to fit frictionally over the central mounting hook. The body has a front surface, a top surface, a bottom surface, first and second side edges and a back surface. The back surface includes a vertically oriented tearing ridge. The adapter's cavity is fitted over the central mounting hook with the front surface facing a direction in which the support arms extend. When a pack of T-shirt style bags that have the tab opening with a rupturable portion mounted on the support arms with the tab openings of the bags placed over the adapter, the tearing ridge will serve to facilitate tearing the rupturable portion of the mounting tab as a bag is removed from the dispensing rack so that the mounting tab will remain attached to the bag.

Abstract: A bag holder used to stabilize a plurality of grocery and retail bags during transport in a vehicle. The invention has a plurality of hangers. The hangers provide a releasable means to hold the bag handles. The function of the present invention is to hold together the handles of these bags which in turn prevents the contents of the bags from being spilled. The hanger element is designed in an elongated inverted “U” shape with a “lollipop” shaped end. The plurality of hangers form a rack. This rack of hangers is pivotally attached with a hinge to base members which support the apparatus and provide an upright support for the hangers. The base members when spread apart grip the rack and hold it in a vertical manner. A folding tab on one of the base members keeps the base members in the spread open position. In this open position the grocery bag handles are placed over the hangers and held securely in place.

Abstract: A bag holder for suspending a bag thereat with an opening portion of the bag directed upward, comprising a pair of arm members respectively provided with holding members for engaging and holding an opening edge portion of the bag, a pair of crossing means that intersect with each other being extended downward from end portions of the arm members and making the pair of arm members freely open/close around a fulcrum portion, and a pair of grounding members being extended from lower ends of the pair of crossing members as to oppose the pair of arm members. Attaching/detaching of the bag can be easily performed since the bag might simply be hung against or detached from a pair of holding means. Further, since bags can be held in a suspend manner, the external appearance thereof can be made attractive and cleaning of the floor can be easily performed.

Abstract: A disposable standing trash bag including a flexible container supported by a foldable frame. The frame includes at least one pair of vertically stacked horizontal hoops and a plurality of vertical supports. The supports are pivotally connected to the hoops and fold radially inwardly when the trash bag is folded. A slider restrains folding of the vertical supports when the trash bag is standing but can be released by turning the frame upside down so that the trash bag can be folded for storage, shipment or reuse.

Abstract: A support device for holding a bag open, the support device having a straight free state flexible body with a width sufficient to extend along and hold open a majority of the length of a bag and also having a length which defines an arc when flexed inside a bag leaving one side of the bag unsupported by the flexible body for convenient raking and filling of the leaf bag.

Abstract: This portable device is for holding and supporting a flexible waste collection bag in an open condition. The device has a frame consisting of two parallel side bars having a handle at one end and the free ends of the side bars are mounted to a lower supporting platform bar. A slider bar is slidably mounted on the side bars and located between the handle and the lower supporting platform bar. Both the slider bar and the supporting platform bar have a horizontal U-shaped channel. A flexible waste collection bag can be mounted to the device by wrapping two opposite sides of the lip portion of the bag on two securement bars and inserting the wrapped securement bars into the U-shaped channels in the slider bar and the supporting platform bar to secure the bag to the device. The slider is pushed upwards to maintain the bag in an open condition. Bags of a variety of different sizes may be mounted to the device by adjusting the position of the slider bar.

Abstract: Existing free-standing bag holders are of fixed width exist, both with and without wheels, for supporting plastic garbage bags, recycling bags etc. However, bag holders of fixed width are not useful for all bags. The present invention provides a bag holder which is adjustable to support large, flexible bags of various widths by adjusting the spacing of vertical support members on a base member.

Abstract: A bag dryer comprising a pair of identical members, each having a central portion, and integral faucet-engaging portion, and an integral bag-engaging portion. The two members are pivotally connected and spring-biased so that the faucet-engaging portions tend to be rotated toward one another. The dryer is intended to be mounted upon a faucet over a sink so that dripping from a bag inverted over the bag-engaging portions may drip into the sink.

Abstract: Presented herein is lightweight furniture that is designed to be decorated with cloth or fabric. The decoratable furniture provides for removable ultimate fabric decoration of the furniture. The furniture has a body that attaches to a leg arrangement. The body has at least one flat surface, a top surface, and an edge structure located about the perimeter of the top surface. The edge structure has a cloth receiving channel into which cloth, or fabric, may be inserted and removably, yet securely, held in place. Thus, the fabric may be easily removed for cleaning or changing.

Abstract: An insert apparatus is disclosed which is used to insert items into pouches. The insert apparatus comprises a bending region designed to bend along a length of the apparatus; a non-bending region coupled to the bending region, having a gripping space positioned along a length thereof; a first and second insert foot located on either side of the gripping space; and a transition zone, located between the bending and non-bending regions, where the bend in the bending region gradually flattens out to the non-bending region.

Abstract: A yard debris collecting system for providing a chute for facilitating the insertion of lawn debris into a collection bag. The yard debris collecting system includes a pivoted frame, a chute couplable to the frame, a collection bag couplable to the frame such that the chute extends into and opens into the open bag. In an embodiment, a packing tool is provided for compacting debris within the collection bag. In an embodiment, a distal lower edge of the chute is weighted for holding the distal lower edge against the ground during use.

Abstract: This Invention provides a stable stand-alone apparatus to hold and/or transport plastic shopping bags that are being reused as refuse containers. A shallow pan is formed as the base of this apparatus. The shallow base pan is complemented by two opposing sides each of which rises at a slight outward angle to two shoulders and a tapered neck. The opposing pliable handles of the plastic shopping bag are placed about the tapered necks and retained at these positions. This holds the pliable plastic shopping bag with its opening at shoulder level. The tapered necks each have an elongated hole to provide hand holds. This allows the user clean, safe and easy hand carry of refuse in the "The Plastic Bag Caddy" from an under sink cabinet or closet to another depository. The front and back areas above the shallow base pan are open. This allows expansion of the plastic bag as it is filled.

Abstract: A bag holder comprising a frame assembly, a bag support, an attachment assembly and a control assembly. The frame assembly includes a base assembly with vertical posts extending upward therefrom. The bag support is mounted on the posts for vertical movement by the control assembly. Abstract: A collapsible hoop stand is provided. The stand includes a generally circular ring or hoop shaped base portion having a first diameter and a generally circular ring or hoop shaped upper portion having a first diameter. The base portion is connected to the upper portion by three leg members. The leg members are each connected at their upper and lower ends to the upper portion and the base portion respectively. The connection is designed to be removable, permitting the portable stand to be easily assembled, disassembled, and stored. Two of the leg members are of a first length and the third member is of a second length. The leg member second length is less than the two leg member's first length, and includes a bend, causing the upper portion to be angled. A second generally circular ring or hoop shaped upper portion is also provided. The second upper portion has a second diameter which is greater than the first upper portion's first diameter.

Abstract: A bag holder comprising an adjustable frame assembly to maintain a top end of a lawn/leaf bag in an open position. A supporting structure supports the adjustable frame assembly horizontally above the ground, so that the lawn/leaf bag will extend downwardly in a vertical position to allow a person to easily insert debris through the top end of the lawn/leaf bag.

Abstract: The present invention is directed to a clamping device for a coin bag that receives coins from a coin exit region of a coin processing machine. The clamping device includes a mounting structure that is located at the coin exit region. The mounting structure has first and second outer surfaces that are generally angled with respect to a vertical line. A holder member movably mounted with respect to the mounting structure between an opened position and a closed position. The holder member has first and second inner surfaces generally opposing the outer surfaces of the mounting structure when the holder member is in the closed position. A bag receiving region is defined between the first inner and outer surfaces and between the second inner and outer surfaces. The bag receiving region decreases in size when the holder member is moved from the opened position to the closed position where the bag is clamped tightly between the inner and outer surfaces.

Abstract: A step and lift refuse liner removal system is disclosed, consisting of a conventional refuse container main housing. A conventional refuse liner rests on a support plate, located inside the main housing, above the bottom of the main housing. Air holes in the support plate facilitate air flow throughout the main housing, thus reducing the vacuum between the refuse liner and the side walls of the main housing. A dual fulcrum and curved lever system permits the operator to lift the support plate by pressing down on a foot bar located outside the main housing near the ground. As such, the present invention facilitates the easy and effortless removal of a conventional refuse liner. A set of foot pads are provided to enable the operator to restrict the movement of the main housing relative to the ground.

Abstract: A work-order clipboard is shown which can be suspended or mounted on the door window of a vehicle such as an automobile door window. The clipboard has a writing surface and an oppositely arranged, weather resistant pouch. Once mounted on a vehicle window, the writing surface of the clipboard is located within the vehicle interior and thus protected from the elements. The oppositely arranged pouch is positioned on the exterior of the vehicle window and can be used to store car keys or other objects in a convenient fashion.

Abstract: A trash bag support system is provided including an inner ring and an outer ring. The outer ring is adapted to snappily attach to the inner ring in order to maintain an upper peripheral edge of a garbage bag therebetween. As such, an opening of the garbage bag is maintained in an open orientation.

Abstract: An ergonomic household stand having a plurality of parallel upright posts on pedestals, a plurality of horizontal arms with ears, and crossbars between the posts for holding various container elements such as laundry bags, potted plant containers, and conventional plastic grocery store bags for separating recycling waste products such as plastic bottles, aluminum foil tin cans, newspapers, dead plants and the like. The economical stand can be made of medium density fiberboard or recycled plastic. The stands can hold from 3 to 12 plastic recycling bags or other container elements depending on the number of arms available in a specific structure.

Abstract: The invention described holds dialysis bag and other similar articles containing delicate membrane securely in place so that biological solution can be added or collected, safely. The Dialysis Bag Holder contains bottom, vertical and top plates, cradle tubes and a funnel holding mechanism. The bottom plate holds vertical plate and cradle tubes. The vertical plate, besides providing additional support to cradle tubes, holds the top plate firmly in place. The top plate located over the tip of cradle tubes, seats funnel for pouring large volume of sample. Cradle tubes, attached permanently at an angle to the top of bottom plate, hold dialysis bags. Abstract: A new plastic bag holding device for holding open a plastic bag while it is being filled. The inventive device includes a base and a plurality of elongate pegs. The top of the base has a plurality of spaced apart sockets extending into the interior of the base. One of the ends of each peg is insertable into a socket such that the pegs are upwardly extended from the top of the base. The base also has a number of storage compartments in the interior of the base for storing the pegs when not in use.

Abstract: A trash bag holder and expanding form is made from a sheet of stiff material that has at least three panels to hold a bag in an erect condition and to expand the opening of the bag into a shape that will allow the user to fill the bag with leaves or trash without having to hold the bag. The panels are separated by parallel, vertically disposed score lines that act as fold lines or hinges between the panels of the holder. The holder can be formed from high density corrugated polyurethylene (HDPE) board, recycled plastic corrugated board that may have a lap joint sealed by a sonic weld. The panels are proportioned so that the sheet material can be folded flat with the panels lying against one another. When the invention is folded into its operational configuration, the score lines act as corners such that the form is tubular or U-shaped with open ends and braces may hold panels in extended opposing relationship.

Abstract: An apparatus for filling bags includes a top plate having a plurality of holes therethrough. A plurality of cylindrical bag holders are engaged with each hole of the top plate with an end of each bag holder extending outwardly of the top plate. A stand is connected to the top plate to support the top plate above a supporting surface. A locking plate having a plurality of holes therethrough in registry with the holes of the top plate engages the outwardly extending end of each bag holder to hold a bag in place.

A "C" shaped resilient bag holding member is pivotally attached to the upright side walls and provides a maintaining member for the bag in an opened position and a holding member for the device to the opened bag.

Abstract: A bag dispensing system for suspending and dispensing plastic bags such as T-shirt bags and merchandise bags comprises a bag dispenser constructed to be mounted underneath counters of checkouts. The bag dispensing system comprises relatively short bag engaging hooks which are inserted through apertures formed in T-shirt bags. The apertures are positioned to enable downward removal of the T-shirt bags from the bag dispenser by applying a small downward force. The bag dispensing system further comprises removably detachable bag supporting members to simultaneously support different sized merchandise bags. Merchandise bag engaging hooks provided on the bag dispenser, and slits formed through the merchandise bag panels and gussets, assist in the opening of the bags during dispensing.

Abstract: A bag holding system includes a stand, such as a header A-frame stand, or a beltboard. The stand includes a slot for receiving a tab defined on a bag assembly adapter. The bag assembly adapter also includes at least one first connector member for connecting with a second connector member defined on a bag assembly such as a saddle pack. The saddle pack is formed from a number of stacked polymeric sheets each including a first bag, a second bag, and a center strip portion having a first edge connected to the first bag and a second edge connected to the second bag. The second connector member includes an aperture extending through the center strip portions. The at least one first connector member of the bag assembly adapter may include a leg portion having a nub projecting through the aperture of the bag assembly so as to secure the bag assembly to the bag assembly adapter.

Abstract: The present invention provides an inexpensive, portable trash bag retaining system that secures the lip of the bag in an open position and supports the remainder of the bag extending away therefrom. The bag holding apparatus of the invention provides for rapid fitting of the bag about the holder and application of self-contained resilient retention means to hold the bag in place while filling takes place. The system is entirely self-supporting and self-contained.

In use, the bag holding device will maintain a conventional storage bag, typically used for freezing, in an upright and opened position for facilitating packaging. The holder comprises a base stand and a removable funnel. Both the stand and funnel are oval in shape, similar to the conventional bag.

Abstract: A yard waste bagging device, for use in combination with polyethylene, paper, or other bags, includes a sheet of polymer material, cut into a rectangular form, and which may be folded into the cylindrical form, and through the use of a fastener secure the side edges of the sheet into its cylindrical configuration. An upper funnel or coned shaped device is also cut from a sheet of polymer or other material, it includes a band of such material, has a segment cut from its ends, the ends are fastened together through the use of a fastening device, to form a funnel, cone, or the like. A series of integral fasteners extend downwardly from the lower edge of the funnel, and may be formed having a barbed configuration, and then insert or connect to the upper edge of the cylindrical device, to form a funnel shaped cylinder member.

Abstract: A stiffener apparatus, including first and second stiffener body sections, each stiffener section is formed as an open, octagonally shaped structure, and is provided with geometrically shaped channel that facilitate mechanically mating of one section with the other, i.e. a quasi-congruent, multi-planar surface,-snap-ring type construction, that effects a reliable compression of flexible material disposed between the two mating stiffener body sections. The open, octagonally, shaped stiffener sections are especially sized for fitting an opening of a flexible trash bag container. In use, the geometrically shaped mating channels compress the outer edges of the trash bag's opening material between multi-planar surfaces that greatly improves the compression fit in keeping the trash bag opening in an opened state, especially in heavily loaded trash bag conditions. Each one of the stiffener sections, is provided with a scoop-like edge member for channelling material into the trash bag.

A plurality of empty sandbags (12) can be completely placed over the funnel pails (18) when the tray (14) is inverted. The tray (14) is then turned right side up, with the empty sandbags (12) on the funnel pails (18) placed upon the ground (22) and then sand (24) is shoveled into the funnel pails (18) to fill up the sandbags (12).

Abstract: A generally rectangular hamper bag having an external frame that includes a base and four vertically upstanding leg members. The four leg members are of equal height and terminate at their upper ends in a finial or a closed loop. The hamper bag is secured to each leg member either at locations near or at the bottom and top of the leg members using grommets, webbing, or similar fasteners or through a stiffening member disposed in a channel around the bag perimeter near the bag top.

Abstract: The invention is a bag stand which holds a leaf bag in an upright position and maintains the bag in an open position The bag stand has a u-shaped base which holds a support rod in a vertical position. A circular ring is attached to the top of the support rod and extends parallel with the base. A leaf bag is folded radially outward as to overlay the circular ring and are held in place by bag clips. The circular ring, support rod, and u-shaped base easily disconnect for easy storage during non use.
