The bag opening holder includes a first ring member having an opening therethrough; and also includes a second ring member having an opening therethrough and being hingedly attached. to the first ring member; and further includes handle members having a first handle member being securely attached to the first ring member and also having a second handle member being securely attached to the first and second ring members; and also includes fastening members being spaced apart and being securely attached to the first ring member for securely fastening the first ring member to the second ring member and about an upper portion of a bag.

Abstract: A support frame for a plastic bag with opposite handles has a horizontal rectangular base member in the form of a tray with four upstanding struts extending from sockets in the corners of the tray. Horizontal braces are frictionally secured between two each of the struts. The upper end of the struts terminate in U-shaped hooks that extend inwardly in a direction towards the space over the base member to permit a bag with separate upper handles and a body portion to have one each of its handles supported on opposite pairs of the hooks with the body portion suspended therebetween. A fresh bag reservoir is detachably secured to one of the pair of end most struts, and has an open top, and which does not enlarge the profile of the unit.

Abstract: A portable trash bag support device for effectively holding a trash bag in a trash-receiving upright position. The portable trash bag support device includes an upright support assembly including a first frame having a bottom end; and also includes a base assembly including a second frame having a back end which is hingedly attached to the bottom end of the first frame; and further includes a bag support assembly including a third frame having a back end which is hingedly attached to a top end of the first frame; and also includes a locking assembly for releasably locking the second and third frames outwardly of the first frame.

Abstract: An apparatus (410) for holding a plastic bag (36) in an upright and open position comprising a base (412), an upper frame (414), a vertical support member (416) and a pair of handle receiving members (418, 420) rotatably mounted to the upper frame (414) is disclosed. The handle receiving members (418, 420) each include a pair of rotatable arms (422, 424, 426, 428). The rotatable arms (422, 424, 426, 428) having a first position and a second position. In the first position, the rotatable arms (422, 424, 426, 428) are generally vertical for receiving and removing the plastic bag (36). In the second position, the rotatable arms (422, 424, 426, 428) are rotated a predetermined angle from vertical. The rotation of the rotatable arms (422, 424, 426, 428) from the first to the second position increases the distance between the rotatable arms (422, 424, 426, 428) in each pair of handle receiving members (418, 420), thereby securing the plastic bag (36) in an upright and open position within the apparatus (410).

Abstract: A collapsible, yard bag insert is disclosed, designed to allow a user to easily empty lawn mower bag clippings into traditional paper yard refuse bags. The collapsible, yard bag insert comprises a sturdy open-top, open-bottom plastic insert, designed to be placed inside of the yard refuse bag. Hand holes are molded into it to allow one to carry it. The collapsible, yard bag insert is collapsible in design, so as to facilitate ease of insertion and removal from the refuse bag.

Abstract: A bag opener support apparatus includes a frame having members movable between a collapsed position allowing easy insertion through an end of a flexible container to an expanded position in which the members are movable to a position expanding the interior of the flexible container and the open end of the container to a full cross section shape. The apparatus includes first and second frame members formed of interconnected side legs, with the second frame members pivotally connected to the first frame member for pivotal movement between the collapsed and expanded positions. A lock arm is mountable on one of the second frame members for lockingly engaging the opposed second frame member to maintain the second frame members in the expanded position.

Attaching/detaching of the bag can be easily performed since the bag might simply be hung against or detached from a pair of holding means. Further, since bags can be held in a suspend manner, the external appearance thereof can be made attractive and cleaning of the floor can be easily performed.

Abstract: My invention comprises a mechanical universal bag holding device. More particularly, my bag holding device is designed to support a bag which can be expanded and lengthened while filling. My device basically comprises in its most basic embodiment: a cylindrical transverse hollow piping and angled arms which are connected to the hollow pipe and operate as supports for a bag or container. In other embodiments my bag holder can be attached to a dolly in construction work, or manufactured as a smaller version for kitchen use.

Abstract: A bag holder device for retaining a bag in an upright and open position for allowing an individual to fill the bag with debris. The inventive device includes a first support member and a second support member that are extendible into a ground surface. The first support member includes a pair of first legs, a pair of first arm members extending from the first legs, and a first bar member extending between the first arm members. The second support member includes a pair of second legs, a pair of second arm members extending from the second legs, and a second bar member extending between the second arm members. The first bar member and the second bar member are surrounded by a first engaging member and a second engaging member respectively for engaging a paper bag. A first board having first apertures and a second board having second apertures is included for receiving the first support member and the second support member upon hard surfaces such as concrete or asphalt.

Abstract: A continuous band is provided for insertion into the mouth of a yard waste bag. The band is formed from a flexible material that permits it to be gripped at its center and squeezed into a collapsed position with two end loops having curved ends that will engage opposing sidewalls of the bag. In the collapsed position, the band presents a configuration of a partial lemniscate. The band is formed from an elongated strip with two opposite ends. Each end includes an engagement means formed therewith which may be selectively engaged by a user to form different diameters of the band.

Abstract: A package for a trash bag rod which is flexible and resilient for opening a trash bag and for forming a hoop shape for holding the trash bag open while it is being filled with fallen leaves, lawn clippings, and other trash, comprises a trash bag rod which is normally straight but which is wound into a coil that springs back toward straight position when released from the coil, an enclosure holding the trash bag rod in coiled position with at least one end portion of the rod being held in straight position to form a straight end portion of the rod within the enclosure, whereby after the coiled rod is released from the enclosure the straight end portion is more easily threaded through a perimeter portion of the open end of a trash bag than a rod with a curved end portion. The method includes preforming a series of openings around the top perimeter portion of the trash bag.

Abstract: A bagger apparatus includes a platform having an opening proximate a center of the platform and a bag holder being retained by the platform proximate the opening of the platform. In use, a bag having an opening is held by the bag holder. The opening of the bag is aligned to the opening of the platform. The platform has a wider area than the opening of the bag such that an object received by the platform can be led to the bag via the opening of the platform and the opening of the bag.

Abstract: This portable device is for holding and supporting a flexible waste collection bag in an open condition. The device has a frame consisting of two parallel side bars having a handle at one end and the free ends of the side bars are mounted to a lower supporting platform bar. A slider bar is slidably mounted on the side bars and located between the handle and the lower supporting platform bar. Both the slider bar and the supporting platform bar have a horizontal U-shaped channel. A flexible waste collection bag can be mounted to the device by wrapping two opposite sides of the lip portion of the bag on two securement bars and inserting the wrapped securement bars into the U-shaped channels in the slider bar and the supporting platform bar to secure the bag to the device. The slider is pushed upwards to maintain the bag in an open condition. Bags of a variety of different sizes may be mounted to the device by adjusting the position of the slider bar.

The handle engaging members protrude through the bag handles to support the bag in an open manner over the base. The handle engaging members have angled surfaces to fully extend the opening on a variety of different sized bags. The base has a recessed central portion for containing any liquids spilled from the bag.

Abstract: The disclosed bulk bag storage rack facilitates both storage and unloading of a bulk bag and thereby eliminates the standard handling techniques heretofore required in transferring a bulk bag from a conventional rack to the bag unloader. The storage rack includes a bag suspension frame to which the bulk bag is attached. A base is shiftably intercoupled with the frame so as to permit vertical shifting between vertically expanded and contracted conditions. During storage, the rack is vertically contracted and the bag attached to the frame rests on the base, whereby the frame provides essentially no support to the bag. When it is desired to unload the bag, the frame is maintained at a desired height and the base is allowed to shift downwardly relative the frame. This eliminates the support provided by the base and the bag is consequently suspended from the frame. An unloading station includes a stand to support the frame at the desired height and a stop for limiting downward movement of the base.

The decoratable furniture provides for removable ultimate fabric decoration of the furniture. The furniture has a body that attaches to a leg arrangement. The body has at least one flat surface, a top surface, and an edge structure located about the perimeter of the top surface. The edge structure has a cloth receiving channel into which cloth, or fabric, may be inserted and removably, yet securely, held in place. Thus, the fabric may be easily removed for cleaning or changing.

A plurality of legs are pivotally coupled to the T-fittings and downwardly extend therefrom for supporting the ring portion in a spaced apart relationship from a ground surface.

Abstract: A trash container system, particularly for marine pleasure craft, for disposing of refuse wherein the trash container system comprises a trash bag holding device having laterally projecting extensions and a trash receptacle having a resilient, elastomeric, inlet mouth at its top, couplable to the trash bag holding device about and over the lateral extensions, and a sealable (e.g. zippered), refuse expelling outlet at its bottom. The resilient elastomeric inlet mouth functions to (1) securely couple the trash receptacle to the trash bag holding device via the collapsible elastomeric properties of the resilient elastomeric inlet mouth; (2) hold refuse in the trash receptacle; and (3) expand, easily and effortlessly, to receive therethrough refuse having a myriad of dimensions and shapes.

Abstract: A board game bag is made of non-transparent flexible material and includes a main body and a mouth. An elastic member is disposed within the mouth, allowing the mouth to open when the elastic member is stretched and causing the mouth to partially close when the elastic member is allowed to relax. The board game bag is designed to hold game pieces to be drawn during game play. To this end, the board game bag is placed in a cylindrical plastic sleeve that provides support for the bag so that the bag is held upright as players draw game pieces from the bag. Following game play, all game pieces placed on the board are easily removed from the board by stretching the mouth of the bag over all four corners of the game board and flipping the board over, thus causing the game pieces to fall into the bag. The mouth of the bag is then removed from the four corners of the board and the elastic member causes the mouth of the bag to constrict.

The insert apparatus comprises a bending region designed to bend along a length of the apparatus; a non-bending region coupled to the bending region, having a gripping space positioned along a length thereof; a first and second insert foot located on either side of the gripping space; and a transition zone, located between the bending and non-bending regions, where the bend in the bending region gradually flattens out to the non-bending region.

Abstract: A portable and adjustable bag holder having an adjustable frame, a plurality of legs perpendicularly attached to the frame and a plurality of feet slidably adjustable within the legs. The frame has two U-shaped arms, each of which has two free ends. One of the arms is hollow at the free ends to accept the other arm so that the other arm can telescopingly slide within the first arm's cavity. The first arm has a knob acting as a detent and located within the cavity. The second arm has a plurality of notches which engage the knob as the second arm slidably moves within the first arm. The engagement of the knob and notch keeps the two arms temporarily fixed in place. In an alternative embodiment, the ends of the two arms are made removable and replaceable in order to expand or contract the range of adjustment of the frame to accommodate bags having circumferences which vary greatly. The bag holder also adjusts in height to accommodate bags of various heights.

Abstract: A yard debris collecting system for providing a chute for facilitating the insertion of lawn debris into a collection bag. The yard debris collecting system includes a pivoted frame, a chute couplable to the frame, a collection bag couplable to the frame such that the chute extends into and opens into the open bag. In an embodiment, a packing tool is provided for compacting debris within the collection bag. In an embodiment, a distal lower edge of the chute is weighted for holding the distal lower edge against the ground during use.

Abstract: A bag holder device facilitates the reuse of bags such as plastic grocery bags as waste collection bags. The device has a body formed with slots from which the bag can be suspended by means of its handles. An expander element is pivotally connected to the body and is movable between a storage state in which it is folded against the body and a usable state in which it engages the interior of the bag to retain the mouth of the bag open for receiving waste. The device may be removably or non-removably attachable to a support surface or may be free-standing. It is conveniently formed from a washable, lightweight material.

The vertical edge and the horizontal edge are essentially planar. The diagonal edge is essentially arcuate. The vertical edge of each side panel is hingedly coupled with opposed side edges of the back panel. The horizontal edge of each side panel has a pair of small arcuate recesses formed therein in a spaced relationship.

Abstract: A portable lawn bag includes a bag and a pair of stakes. The bag is preferably rectangular in shape with an opening substantially perpendicular to the ground. Two holes are formed at a first end to receive a first stake. Two holes are formed at a second end to receive a second stake. Each stake includes a handle portion disposed at a first end, an upstanding pin, and an offset portion which is disposed at substantially the second end. During set-up, the bag is laid with either the top or bottom on the ground. The second end of each stake is inserted through a bottom hole at each end of the bag. The stakes are forced into the ground with a combination of hand pressure applied to the handle and foot pressure applied to the offset portions until the offset portions clamp the bag against the ground. A top hole at each end is placed over the upstanding pin of each stake. The upstanding pin holds the bag open such that lawn debris may be raked therein.

The four side portions (52, 56) are for engaging interior side walls (22, 26) of the bag. The side portions (52, 56) of the frame member (50) define a rectangular outer perimeter (62) of the frame member and a window (64) in the frame member through which material is placed into the bag (20). The outer perimeter (64) is slightly larger than the mouth (40) of the bag (20) measured in a plane perpendicular to the side walls (22, 26) of the bag.

Abstract: A bag support for a paper or plastic trash bag such as are commonly used to gather lawn and garden waste for disposal. The bag support has a funnel connected to a nozzle with a nozzle outlet. The funnel and the nozzle are rectangular in cross-section with opposing side walls and end walls. Slots are provided in the opposing side walls or the end walls or both of the nozzle. The funnel and nozzle are integral and the bag support is preferably formed in two identical sections with complementary male and female couplings for releasably joining the sections.

Abstract: An apparatus for supporting and filling a paper lawn refuse bag includes a support frame and a hopper mounted thereon with the hopper including a funnel-like upper portion and a chute-like lower portion in communication therewith. Locking plates are pivotably mounted to the hopper for movement between raised and lowered positions, with the locking plates including gripping elements for gripping an upper portion of a lawn refuse bag when the locking plates are in their lowered position. In one form, the gripping elements comprise pins for piercing the upper portion of the paper lawn refuse bag.

Abstract: A bag support stand used to support a flexible bag in an upright open position for easy filling thereof. The support stand includes unique width adjustment and height adjustment. Thus, the stand can accept and support thereon substantially any size or shape of bag of user choice.

Abstract: An apparatus protects a bag so that waste may be compacted into the bag. The apparatus includes a shield having an upper shield opening and a lower shield opening, and a base that is constructed so that it may be secured, in a releasable fashion, to the lower shield opening. The shield separates the bag from compacted waste. The base cooperates with the shield to support the bag and its contents. The shield is placed almost entirely into the bag, the lower opening of the shield being secured to the base at an interface. Compacted waste rests on the bottom of the bag, which may be supported by the base. When the bag has become filled with waste, the shield is removed.

Abstract: A litter bag hanger for supporting a conventional plastic bag in an open position within a vehicle or under other structures. The inventive device includes a base member, an adhesive strip attached to the upper surface of the base member, a first arm extending from the base member, a pair of first notches within the first arm, a second arm extending from the base member, and a pair of second notches within the second arm. The first notches and the second notches are pear shaped with the narrow end within the perimeter of the first arm and second arm respectively. The first notches and the second notches receive the bag handles of the plastic bag thereby supporting it in a substantially open position. The adhesive strip is attachable to the under surface of a dashboard, countertop, desk, cabinet, or table. The first arm and the second arm are angled downwardly from the base member for allowing easy attachment and removal of the bag handles from the first notches and second notches.

Abstract: A folding rubbish bag holder for use in a car includes a base member having a projecting edge, a lid and an elongated connecting member hingedly connected to the base member and to the lid. The bag holder further includes a support frame having an opening for receiving a trash bag therethrough and is hingedly connected to the base member such that the support frame has a non-use position wherein said support frame is disposed along said base member and a use position wherein said support frame is pivoted substantially perpendicularly from said base member. The support frame includes at least one stop lug projecting from a top surface of the support frame and a lifting member pivotably connected to the lid for lifting the lid from the support frame and has at least one support arm for engaging the at least one stop plug on the support frame when the support frame is in the use-position.

An upper hoop is constrained for movement with the support members between a collapsed, storage position and an elevated working position above the lower hoop supported on said support members. The support members and the upper hoop cooperate to retain releasably the upper hoop in its working position. A garbage bag is inserted inside the upper hoop and supported by the garbage bag support stand with its open end facing upwardly. The support stand can be lifted over a filled bag, thus avoiding having to lift a filled bag to reposition the support stand.

Abstract: Apparatus for supporting a trash bag for use in collecting leaves, cuttings and other lawn debris comprises a frame assembly formed of a metal rod bent into a substantially rectangular shape with a pair of generally S-shaped terminations. A pair of feet formed of metal strips welded to the rod support the frame in an upright position for ease in filling the trash bag with debris. The rod is adapted to be flexed into engagement with the bag to retain it securely in position by means of a handle which holds the frame in an outwardly flexed condition against the bag.

Abstract: A new plastic bag holding device for holding open a plastic bag while it is being filled. The inventive device includes a base and a plurality of elongate pegs. The top of the base has a plurality of spaced apart sockets extending into the interior of the base. One of the ends of each peg is insertable into a socket such that the pegs are upwardly extended from the top of the base. The base also has a number of storage compartments in the interior of the base for storing the pegs when not in use.
