  • Publication number: 20140245732
Abstract: The invention relates to a proportional directional control valve for controlling a hydraulic consumer, having a housing with a pressure port, a tank port, and first and second working ports. A control element is movably mounted in the housing. A single actuator is provided for moving the control element, which, in dependence on its position relative to the housing, enables different flow paths between the ports. The control element, starting from a first switching position in which both working ports are connected to the tank port, is movable by the actuator via a second switching position that follows the first switching position, to a third switching position that follows the second switching position. It is possible, by moving the control element from the first switching position into the third switching position, to successively disconnect the two working ports from the tank port and connect them to the pressure port.

Abstract: A solenoid operated modular valve includes a solenoid body having a coil and a pole piece positioned in the solenoid body. A valve body cartridge is connected to the solenoid body. A polymeric snap-in seat assembly includes first and second deflectable claw arms each having a barb engaging the valve body cartridge retaining the snap-in seat assembly in direct contact with the valve body cartridge. A seat engagement face when contacted by a valve seal member defines a valve closed position, and is displaced away from the seat engagement face in a valve open position when the coil is energized. A valve body cartridge body end portion includes a barb engagement face having pitched contact edges each having a continuous pitch directly contacted by the barb of the first and second deflectable claw arms to rotatably and frictionally lock the snap-in seat assembly to the valve body cartridge.

Abstract: An electromagnetic valve includes a valve seat, a valving element, and a solenoid part. The valve seat has an annular shape and defines a valve hole. The solenoid part includes a coil, a core guide part, a fixed core, and a movable core. The coil becomes an electromagnet upon energization thereof. The core guide part is arranged radially inward of the coil. The movable core is accommodated and reciprocated inside the core guide part in accordance with whether the electromagnet is turned on or off. The valving element moves integrally with the movable core to open or close the valve hole. The core guide part includes a magnetic unbalance part where magnetic force applied between the core guide part and the movable core is different between on one side and the other side of the core guide part in its radial direction.

Abstract: A solenoid arrangement comprises a pole tube which is axially subdivided into a pole core section, a transition section, and a tube section. A magnetic flux between the pole core section and the tube section is interrupted by the transition section. An armature is movably guided in the pole tube and has, at its end facing the pole core section, a flange which axially projects from an end face. According to the invention, the pole core section has a stepped depression into which the armature can plunge and which, starting from the transition section, is subdivided into an annular collar, a shoulder, and a notch which is set back axially and radially. An axial dimension of the collar exceeds an axial dimension of the flange.

Abstract: A movable core sliding in a guide portion includes a small outer-diameter part, a large outer-diameter part, and a protrusion part. When a magnetic circuit is generated by energizing a coil, a magnetic attractive force inclining with respect to a center axis of the guide portion is generated between the guide portion and the movable core, and moves the movable core towards a stator core. Then, a sliding portion, which is provided over the whole periphery of the small outer-diameter part, and the protrusion part of the movable core are abutted on an inner peripheral surface of the guide portion, a clearance is generated between an outer peripheral surface of parts of the movable core except the protrusion part and the inner peripheral surface of the guide portion. Since the valve member can be opened by a small magnetic attractive force, a coil assembly can be made small.
