  • Publication number: 20140145101
Abstract: A guide portion made of a magnetic material can be filled with a gaseous fuel of high-pressure and is slidably receiving a movable core. The guide portion is constructed by a first small-diameter portion, a second small-diameter portion, and a magnetism blocking portion having a wall thickness less than that of the first small-diameter portion and the second small-diameter portion. When a magnetic circuit is generated by energizing the coil, a magnetic flux passing through the first small-diameter portion passes through the second small-diameter portion via an end face of the movable core and generates a magnetic attractive force inclining with respect to a center axis. Therefore, the movable core is moved to the stator core by the magnetic attractive force adding a magnetic attractive force generated by a magnetic circuit.

Abstract: A guide portion slidably receiving a movable core is constructed by a large-diameter portion, a middle-diameter portion, a first small-diameter portion, a magnetism blocking portion, and a second small-diameter portion. A ring portion, which has an outer diameter greater than that of a coil assembly provided radially outside of the guide portion, is provided radially outside of the middle-diameter portion. When the guide portion attached with the coil assembly is attached to a support member corresponding to a mating member, the guide portion is attached to the support member by applying a rotational torque of to the ring portion in an axial direction of the guide portion according to a tool without an interference between the tool and the coil assembly. Therefore, an electromagnetic valve device for a gaseous fuel can be readily attached to the support member.

Abstract: A method for detecting a closing moment of a valve having a coil drive includes impressing an electrical voltage in the exciter coil to generate an exciter current through the coil, which attracts the movable armature and lifts the valve element off its valve seat. After the exciter current decays to zero, the voltage profile at the exciter coil is sampled and read out over time in the form of time value/voltage value pairs. The detected voltage values and time valves are transformed by the formation of a logarithm to form a transformed function. The transformed function is subsequently derived numerically with the formation of a derivation function. A transformed time value corresponding to the valve closing moment is detected based on the derivation function of a predetermined threshold value S being undershot, and the closing moment is calculated therefrom by inverse transformation.

  • Patent number: 8651453
Abstract: The invention relates to a valve cartridge for a solenoid valve, having a capsule, a magnetic armature that is movably guided within the capsule, a valve insert that is inserted into the capsule at a first end, and a valve body, which is pressed into a second end of the valve insert and has a main valve seat. The magnetic armature, moved by a generated magnetic force, moves a tappet guided within the valve insert. The tappet has a closing element with a sealing element which plunges into the main valve seat of the valve body in a sealing manner for carrying out a sealing function, and an associated solenoid valve. According to the invention the valve insert is configured as a one-part slotted bushing, and the valve body is configured as a bonnet-shaped bushing. The valve body configured as a bushing is pressed into a second end of the valve insert configured as a slotted bushing such that the main valve seat is disposed within the valve insert.

Abstract: A solenoid valve for a pressure container, that includes a valve housing and a valve base member having a first opening for directing the fluid into and/or out of a pressure container and a second opening for directing the fluid into or out of the valve. The valve is constructed in such a manner that only a small application of force has to be provided in order to move a sealing element from its seat and to release a direct connection between a first opening for directing the fluid into and out of the pressure container and a second opening for directing the fluid into and out of the valve. The fluid is directed through the first opening into a space which extends between a tappet and the sealing element, whereby a pressure is built up in the space and a first positioning path travels by the tappet when an magnetic coil is activated so that the through-hole of the sealing element is released and the sealing element retains its position.
