Abstract: Provided is a technology with which, when producing a resin molded article, the inside of which is provided with an insert component such as a terminal fitting, it is possible to prevent the insert component from being exposed at an inappropriate position, and to ensure the desired positional accuracy. In an injection molding device, the accuracy of the position of a terminal is improved by allowing a core-back mold to move after a terminal, which is an insert component, has been inserted in a terminal tip holding section of a slide mold. By allowing the core-back mold to move by only a prescribed amount prior to injection molding, a resin wall is formed between the core-back mold and the terminal. The inappropriate exposure and shorting of and the adhesion of foreign substances to, and the like, the terminal can thus be prevented.

Abstract: A lead with segmented electrodes can be made using one or two mold methods. In one method, segmented electrodes are individually disposed on pins on an interior surface within a mold. Each of the segmented electrodes has at least one opening formed in the exterior surface of the segmented electrode. The lead body is then molded between the electrodes. In a two mold method, segmented electrodes are inserted into electrode slots of a first mold and an interior portion of a lead body is formed. The resulting intermediate arrangement is placed into a second mold to form an exterior portion of the lead body. In another two mold method, a sacrificial ring is formed around the segmented electrodes in a first mold and the resulting intermediate structure is inserted in a second mold to form the lead body. The sacrificial ring is then removed.

Abstract: A dispenser apparatus for a curable liquid material is disclosed. The apparatus comprises a flexible bag defining a first compartment for accommodating a first component of a curable liquid material, and a second compartment for accommodating a second component of the curable liquid material and adapted to communicate with the first chamber to enable mixing of the first and second components to initiate curing of the curable liquid material. A first clamp temporarily prevents mixing of the first and second components, and an elongate nozzle communicates with the second compartment to dispense the mixed curable liquid material therefrom. A second clamp temporarily prevents passage of the curable liquid material from the second compartment to the nozzle.

A threaded metal insert has a substantially circular aperture configured with screw threads to releasably yet connectively interface with a separate traditionally threaded firearm component such as a buffer tube or a pistol grip screw. Inserts can be any overall shape so long as it can be integrally embedded within a traditionally threaded portion of a polymer lower receiver in a way that does not interfere with normal operation of an assembled firearm and leaves exposed the internal threading of the insert. Inserts can also comprise textural features on the exterior surface configured to permanently interface with and embed the an insert into molded polymer.
