Abstract: A hand tool, such as a motorized cordless ratchet wrench, is configured for reducing part count and reducing assembly processes. The hand tool includes a clamshell housing that may be fastened to a drive member such as a ratchet head assembly without the use of additional fasteners such as large clamp nuts or additional screw sets, for example. One or more protrusions extending inwardly from the clamshell housing engage similarly shaped voids in the ratchet head assembly. The protrusions tightly engage the ratchet head housing when the clamshell housing portions are fastened together.

Abstract: A removable protective ball cover for a medicine ball is provided to protect an outer surface of the ball from wear and tear, increase the grip of the surface of the ball and maintain the balls' shape and structure. The ball cover may be formed from a durable material with high surface tension formed into a spherical shape with an opening that is used to encapsulate the medicine ball within the ball cover. The opening may be cinched closed by lacing the opening together to substantially, if not completely, cover the medicine ball and create a tight fit around the ball that will not move in relation to the ball. The ball cover may be formed from a series of specially-shaped panels which are triple stitched together with a backing material to prevent breaking of the cover.

Abstract: An apparatus (10) includes a fastener (16) engageable with a bone portion to connect a longitudinal member (12) to the bone portion. A housing (40) has a first passage (42) configured to receive the longitudinal member (12) and a second passage (44) extending transverse to the first passage. The fastener (16) extends through an opening (50) in the housing (40) into the second passage (44). A longitudinal axis (18) of the fastener (16) is positionable in any one of a plurality of angular positions relative to a longitudinal axis (46) of the second passage (44). A spacer (60) received in the second passage (44) of the housing (40) is engageable with the fastener (16) and the longitudinal member (12). A member (70) applies a force to prevent relative movement between the fastener (16) and the housing (40) and permit manual movement of the fastener (16) relative to the housing (40) against the force when the longitudinal member (12) is disengaged from the spacer (60).

Abstract: An improved railing connection and method of manufacture and assembly for use in assembling railings. A railing connection fastener is secured to one railing member and is concealed within the proximal end of a second railing member. The proximal end of the second railing member is shaped to fit the shutting profile of the first railing member, thereby resisting rotational movement around the proximal-distal axis of the second railing member. The railing connection fastener is secured to the second railing member, thereby resisting movement along the proximal-distal axis of the second railing member. The contour of the proximal end of the second railing member is shaped to fit the profile of the first railing member. The use of the connection fastener and the contour of the proximal end of the second railing member create a smooth, continuous joint with limited complex manufacture.
