A liquid silicone rubber, which contains a component that does not adhere to the upper and lower molds but adheres to the pressing element, is introduced into a cavity, the upper and lower molds are opened to remove a molded product in which an intermediate portion in an axial direction of the pressing element is supported in the plate through hole by the silicone rubber.Type: GrantFiled: July 21, 2011Date of Patent: April 15, 2014Assignee: Shin-Etsu Polymer Co., Ltd.Inventors: Shunta Hyuga, Norio Suzuki, Keiichi Fukuda, Haruaki Miyamura

Publication number: 20140099858Abstract: A doll is provided. The doll includes a layer of skin formed from a first material to simulate human skin. The skin has an interior side and an exterior side. The doll also includes a chamber enclosed by the layer of skin with the interior side of the skin facing the chamber. The doll further includes a filler made of a second material, different from the first material. The filler fills the space within the chamber. The skin is formed by placing the melted first material in a first mold configured to have an inside contour resembling a human body or body part up to a certain level of the first mold and, when the melted first material solidifies, removing certain amount of the melted first material such that the remaining first material in the first mold forms the skin with a thickness in the first mold.Type: ApplicationFiled: October 5, 2012Publication date: April 10, 2014Applicant: WSM INVESTMENT LLCInventor: Antonio Hernandez

Publication number: 20140082924Abstract: The intravascular stent is formed from a composite wire includes an inner core of radiopaque metal, a polymer layer coaxially disposed about the inner core, and an outer metal layer coaxially disposed about the polymer layer. The intermediary polymer layer acts as a barrier material between the inner core and the outer sheath, so that the inner core and outer sheath may be made of dissimilar metallic layers, and the intermediary polymer layer will prevent a galvanic reaction between the inner core and the peripheral metal layer. The intravascular stent has ends flared radially outwardly to prevent radially and longitudinally inward deformation of the ends of the stent when the stent is disposed in a desired location in a patient's vasculature.Type: ApplicationFiled: December 2, 2013Publication date: March 27, 2014Applicant: DEPUY SYNTHES PRODUCTS, LLCInventors: Andre S. Patent number: 8677599Abstract: A dual-core blade and method for manufacturing a dual-core blade are disclosed. The blade is formed with a first core portion and a second core portion comprising an epoxy having a plurality of expanded microspheres. The method of forming the two foams generally comprises sizing a foam core to form a first core portion and providing and preparing an epoxy mixture to form a second core portion. The first core portion and the second core portion of the epoxy mixture are placed into a preform, and the preform is heated slightly so as to cause the epoxy mixture to flow into the shape of the preform and around the first core portion. The first core portion and the second core portion are then bonded in a molding operation. The formed structure can form part of a hockey stick blade.Type: GrantFiled: September 20, 2010Date of Patent: March 25, 2014Assignee: Bauer Hockey, Inc.Inventor: Adam Gans
