The barrel includes a ring shaped high pressure collection cavity that is positioned between the piston chambers and the outlet of the pump. In order to minimize potential loses due to leakage from the ring shaped collection cavity the barrel is made from a casting that utilizes a ring shaped core supported in a mold. This facilitates the formation of the ring shaped cavity while insuring location and dimensional tolerances, and assisting in the latter machining of the casting to its final form.

  • Patent number: 7082665
Abstract: A method for producing a golf club head (42) with a two-piece face component (60) and an aft-body (61) is disclosed herein. The face component (60) includes a formed or forged striking face insert (72) and a cast face cup (74) with a front face (81) and a return portion (77) and separately forming the striking face insert (72). The striking face insert (72) is then pressed or swaged into an opening in the front face (81) of the cast face cup (74) while at the same time the cast face cup (74) is coined. The striking face insert (72) is then welded to the face cup (74) on the interior surface of the face component (60). The assembled face component (60) is then attached to the aft-body (61).

Abstract: A golf club head comprises a hollow body having a cavity, a plurality of rib-like walls provided on the inner surface of the hollow body so as to extend backward from a position near the face portion, and a sound bar disposed behind the face portion so as to extend along the back face of the face portion. A method of making a golf club head comprises making a wax model of the hollow main body having an opening, wherein in order to prevent deformation of the wax model during making a casting mold, the wax model is provided with a brace which extends across the opening and protruding walls which are disposed on the inner surface of the wax model and extend backwards from the opening.

Abstract: The present invention is directed to electronic components shielded from electromagnetic interference through the use of conforming shield enclosures. Conforming shield enclosures are flexible metalized thermoformed thin-wall polycarbonate polymer film substrates used to shield a radiation source. The present invention relates to conforming shielded forms for electronic component assemblies and specifically to electronic component assemblies which are shielded to protect against electromagnetic and radiofrequency interference. Specifically, the shielded electronic component assembly comprises (a) a semiconductor device to be shielded from electromagnetic frequencies; (b) a reference potential source; (c) a housing enclosing the semiconductor device within the assembly; and (d) a conforming shield enclosure electrically connected to the reference potential source.

  • Patent number: 7003878
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for producing a ring support (1) with a sheet metal cooling channel welded thereon (5), which is transfused later with an aluminium melt for producing a piston. The aim of the invention is to improve the production of openings (4) for supplying and removing oil. Said openings are produced even before the transfusion of the cooled ring support. When the alfin pretreament of the cooling ring supports occurs, said cooling channel is filled with melt and emptied again during removal front the alfin bath.

  • Patent number: 6948229
Abstract: The present invention relates to a variable tumble flow-generating device, which comprises: a bulkhead for dividing an intake port into a first passage and a second passage; an opening degree control valve for selectively changing an opening degree of the first and second passages; and driving means for operating the opening angle control valve. This variable tumble flow-generating device can generate tumble flow by making air flowing through different passages while minimizing a flow resistance of air supplied into the combustion chamber, and which has a simple structure so that a limitation in its installation space in relation with other parts can be avoid. Also, the variable tumble flow-generating device is manufactured by adding only a structure where the bulkhead is previously assembled with the intake port core of the prior art. For this reason, this is a simple structure and thus is manufactured at inexpensive costs.
