The saddle includes a flexible base to support the rider's weight and a stationary nose cap attached to the flexible base. One end of a bumper retaining block is pivotally and detachably connected to the nose cap. A resilient bumper is located between the flexible base and the bumper retaining block. A pair of rails which runs along the bottom of the flexible base is attached to the bicycle/motorcycle. The pair of rails is coupled to the bumper retaining block to push the block towards the flexible base with the resilient bumper sandwiched therebetween. The bumper retaining block can be detached from the stationary nose cap so that the resilient bumper can be replaced by a bumper having a different density to selectively control the flexibility of the base.
Abstract: The purpose of the present disclosure is to provide a bottom-plate structure, for a vehicle seat, that can be reinforced with a reduced increase in weight. A bottom plate covered with a surface material is provided on a vehicle body, and the top surface of the bottom plate supports a cushioning material. The bottom plate has reinforcing parts that cross the width-wise center of the bottom plate, at least parts of the reinforcing parts being laid out obliquely with respect to the front-to-back direction of a vehicle seat. Since the reinforcing parts reinforce the bottom plate, the bottom plate can be reinforced with a reduced increase in bottom-plate weight relative to conventional bottom-plate structures.

The assembly includes a seat having a pair of seat sections each including a rod and a cushion positioned around the associated rod. At least one arm is attached to and extends between the rods. Upper, central, and lower crossbars connect the springs together. A ball and socket joint attaches a secondary frame to the primary frame rear section. One strap end is fixed to the upper crossbar, extends rearwardly through a slot in a tab on the secondary frame, and forwardly to a strap attachment at the primary frame front section. The secondary frame has a C-shaped rod at the universal joint, a central rod extending forwardly from the C-shaped rod, and a C-shaped bracket at the front end of the center rod. A fabric seat is placed over the secondary frame rod and bracket and a tensioning mechanism tightens the seat so that the center rod is under compression.

Abstract: A shock-absorbing seat post for a bicycle includes a connecting mount, a rod member, a shock-absorbing member and a fastening unit. Abstract: The invention provides a bicycle lock with three rigid lock rods, either separable or articulating, which together provide an adaptable secure frame-to-wheel-to-security-object bicycle locking mechanism in conjunction with a removable seat post. One rod is inserted partially into the removed seat post, and the other rods extend outward from the first rod and then back toward the seat post for locking to a seat post clamp thereon, thus forming a closed triangular lock. The lock can be passed through the bicycle frame and wheel and around a bike rack or other external structure before closing to secure both the frame, wheel and seat post to the structure to prevent theft of any one or more of these components.
