Abstract: A multi-layered support structure provides ergonomic, adaptable seating support. The multi-layered support structure includes multiple cooperative layers to maximize global comfort and support while enhancing adaptation to localized variations in a load, such as in the load applied when a person sits in a chair. The cooperative layers each include elements such as pixels, springs, support rails, and other elements to provide this adaptable comfort and support. The multi-layered support structure also uses aligned material to provide a flexible yet durable support structure. Accordingly, the multi-layered support structure provides maximum comfort for a wide range of body shapes and sizes.

Abstract: A structural part, such as for a backrest of a vehicle seat has at least one panel element, a first profile element, and a second profile element. The panel and profile elements are connected to one another by at least one weld. The panel element has first beads in a first connecting region of the first profile element, and second beads in a second connecting region of the second profile element. Abstract: A wheelchair includes a frame and first and second rear wheels that are each independently mounted to the frame via a respective mounting hub. Each rear wheel is detachably mounted to its respective mounting hub at two or more distinct hub mounting points. Either or both of the hub mounting points can be movable with respect to a remainder of the hub. A disk can be positioned at the rear wheel and a stop element located at the mounting hub can be selectively operated to interfere with the disk to prevent rotation of that rear wheel. Each rear wheel may include a push-rim having an elastomeric outer layer to facilitate manual gripping and an externally facing generally flat side face. The frame can include first and second spaced apart and unitary tubes which each extend in an unbroken manner from a wheelchair seat to a wheelchair forward region.
Abstract: The device of present invention is seating device that is incorporated into a pack. The pack carries the component parts of the seating device for carrying the device afield. The seating device is deployed with the pack fitting securely under the seating device and capable of holding more cargo than just the seating device. The device uses various belt configurations to secure the seating device to tree, pole or post for deployment. The legs of the device also have various embodiments including sectional legs that are also stored within the pack.
Abstract: The present invention is directed to Anti-ballistic Chairs with the preferred embodiment consisting of a conventionally appearing stacking chair with padded seat cushion and back rest, having a tubular framework with arm rests, having the addition of a skirt section below the seat extending to the floor level. The core of the chair will consist of layers of flexible anti-ballistic fabric, also known as soft armor, wrapped in two directions around the tubular members of the back rest, seat and skirt section. The main body has a buckle recess formed in the main body and having an open side. The button is capable of retracting or protruding relative to a bottom of the buckle recess. The button elastic member is mounted in the main body and presses against the button. To push and pull the button allows a belt buckle to be easily taken out from and inserted into the buckle recess.

Abstract: A portable collapsible stool has at least three legs including separable upper and lower parts releasably formed together by telescopic joint connections and biased into connected engagement by elastomeric cords. Abstract: Auto-deployable furniture having a top panel and a collapsible base movable between collapsed and deployed positions. The base has opposing side panels spaced apart when in the deployed position and are adjacent to each other when in the collapsed position. A top brace spans between the opposing sidewalls and is fixed to the top panel at an off-center portion. Movement of the base between the deployed and collapsed positions causes the top brace to automatically fold or unfold at the intermediate portion, thereby automatically pivoting the top panel relative to the base. In the deployed position, the top panel is substantially perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the base, and in the flat, collapsed position, the top panel is parallel to the longitudinal axis.

Abstract: A portable, personal seating barrier constructed of panels, capable of demarcating an individual seating space while also blocking out sensory stimuli from other people in close proximity, is described. Abstract: In an example embodiment, an instructor seat for the cab of an agricultural vehicle is convertible between a sitting condition when the seat is in a forward position and a non-sitting condition when the seat is in a rearward position. The instructor seat may include a seat base and seat back, a conveyor to move the seat between a forward position and a rearward position, and a latch mechanism to place the seat back in a generally vertical position when the seat is in a forward position and force the seat back into a generally horizontal non-sitting position when the seat is in a rearward position.

Abstract: The invention relates to a dimensionally-stable leg part that can be allocated to a seat device, which leg part is respectively allocated to a left or right upper leg of a person from the knee to the hip and is in close contact with the upper leg form, wherein the leg part contacts flat to the outside of the hip, on the underside of the thigh at least on the distal end, and at least inside and outside on the knee. The invention is further directed to seat devices, particularly vehicle seat devices and vehicle seat extraction systems having said leg parts. In addition, the invention relates to a seat device, preferably a vehicle seat device or vehicle seat extraction system having a U-shaped support device for the back underneath the shoulder having lateral support for the chest, which solely surrounds the adjacent back and chest.
Abstract: An application for an assist chair includes a mechanism for interfacing the assist chair to a floor such as a base and stand and a mechanism for supporting a user of the assist chair such as a seat, seat back and optionally a seat-height adjustment and adjustable seat arms. The assist chair includes one or more devices that capture energy from a user sitting on the mechanism for supporting the user. The device(s) for capturing the energy release the energy when the user transitions from a sitting position on the assist chair to a standing position, thereby assisting the user in attaining the standing position.
Abstract: Multilayer nonwoven fabrics for foam molding that have excellent resistance to the separation of layers, have reinforcing effects and urethane leakage prevention performance, and are producible without the occurrence of fiber dust on the surface. In the multilayer nonwoven fabric for foam molding, a reinforcing layer is stacked on at least one side of a dense layer, the dense layer includes a meltblown nonwoven fabric layer (A) and spunbonded nonwoven fabric layers (B) that are stacked on both sides of the layer (A), and the meltblown nonwoven fabric layer (A) and the spunbonded nonwoven fabric layers (B) are partially thermocompression bonded with each other.
Abstract: The chair structure comprises: a chair body ,including a seat cushion and a back cushion; a fixing plate, being firmly disposed in the chair body and having a plurality of fixing holes; a moving plate, being disposed above the fixing plate, the moving plate having a plurality of penetrating holes; a plurality of flexible members, being disposed on the surface of the top end of the moving plate; a plurality of fixing members, each of the fixing members having a fastening end and a connecting end; and a plurality of lifting devices, being disposed at the bottom of the moving plate, by means of the lifting devices driving the moving plate and the fixing members holding the flexible members, the flexible members being then compressed in order to adjust the flexible supporting forces of the chair body.
