With Nonmagnetic Inter-pole Tip Support Patents (Class 310/216.104)
  • Patent number: 10720799
Abstract: A stator is for a rotary electric machine. The stator includes a stator core includes a stator yoke having an annular shape, teeth being projected to an inner diameter side from the stator yoke, coils wound around the teeth, and a reinforcing member. The reinforcing member has a ring shape, and fixed to an axial end surface at a tip of each of the teeth. The tip is a portion on the inner diameter side of an arrangement range of the coil. The reinforcing member is a non-magnetic body.

  • Patent number: 8415855
Abstract: A brushless direct current (BLDC) motor has a 3-phase winding 20 and six stator teeth 14, 15 with alternate stator teeth 14 being wound and the remaining stator teeth 15 being left unwound. The winding 20 has three legs, one for each phase and each leg has one coil 22 wound about one of the stator teeth 14. Each leg has a first end A,B,C, arranged to receive electrical power and a second end X,Y,Z, which is connected to the second end of the other legs to form a star connection 24. Selected stator teeth have grooves in a face thereof dividing those teeth into a plurality of stator poles. The motor may be used to drive a fuel pump for an internal combustion engine, typically for a vehicle.

  • Patent number: 8004141
Abstract: The present invention relates to a two-phase brushless DC motor which can increase a pemerance coefficient of a rotor to the maximum to thereby improve efficiency and starting feature of the motor, and to reduce torque ripple and noise thereof. The brushless motor of the present invention includes a two-phase winding stator having 4×n winding poles and auxiliary poles provided between the winding poles, and a rotor constituted by 6×n permanent magnet rotating poles having divided angle. Auxiliary poles between the stator poles can be provided. The two-phase brushless motor of the present invention can be driven by a control device for the two-phase motor which can transform electric power and rectify electronically.

  • Patent number: 7880361
Abstract: The manufacturing effort for producing electrical machines with pole teeth which are fitted with permanent magnets is intended to be simplified. The permanent magnets are inserted into the pole teeth only at the end of the manufacturing process, for this purpose, with the pole teeth each comprising two pole teeth halves (1, 2). An insertion device (3) which may be in the form of a frame is arranged between the pole teeth halves (1, 2). The insertion device (3) is used to keep a space free for the individual permanent magnets during the assembly process. By way of example, this allows the pole teeth to be wound without permanent magnets interfering with this manufacturing step. Permanent magnets are finally inserted into the insertion devices.
